Definitions
- the invention is based on a fastening device for fastening a fuel injection valve to a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine and for connecting the fuel injection valve to a fuel distributor line according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a fastening device for a fuel injection valve for attachment to a suction tube in which the axial fixation of the fuel injection valve on the fuel distributor line or on a plug-in nipple by a fastener, which is designed as a U-shaped securing clip provided with two resiliently resilient legs is.
- the securing clip engages in the assembled state by corresponding recesses of the plug-in nipple and can be latched in a recess formed as an annular groove in a connecting piece of the fuel injection valve.
- the axial clearance between the recesses and the securing clip as well as between the annular groove and the securing clip should be kept small in order to achieve an exact fixation of the fuel injection valve without tension of the seal.
- a disadvantage of the DE 29 26 490 C2 known fastening device is that only a limited extent holding down forces can be transmitted. In particular, it is not possible to effect a relatively uniform holding force over a certain axial length to compensate for positional tolerances.
- the described prior art is intended for a Saugrohrhrespritzanalage and therefore offers no solution as positional tolerances can be compensated for high pressure fuel rail manifolds.
- the DE 197 35 665 A1 discloses a fuel injection system for direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, comprising at least one fuel injection valve, wherein between the fuel inlet opening of the fuel injection valve and the fuel outlet opening, a tubular intermediate piece is provided.
- a fastening device for a fuel injection valve having the features of the preamble of claim 1 is known from US 5,501,195 known.
- the fastening device according to the invention for a fuel injection valve with the features of independent claim 1 has the advantage that positional tolerances between fuel injector and fuel distributor line, in particular axial position tolerances can be compensated by the spring elements are axially stretched further.
- the spring members By the spring members, the fuel injection valve is held down with a hold-down force in the cylinder head when the fuel rail is fixed to the cylinder head and pressed to the cylinder head.
- the spring elements are stretched from their rest position by axial pressure and exert this pressure on the fuel injection valve as a hold-down force.
- the fuel injection valve by the fastening device already during assembly with. the fuel distributor line are connected and can be removed completely at each disassembly unit of fastening device, fuel injector and fuel rail.
- the spring elements are loaded to train and the fastening device can pull out the fuel injector from the cylinder head, as the locking connections, as well as the spring tongues in the holding transmitted to pressure and train forces.
- omitted in the fastening device according to the invention screws or clamps for attachment to the front side of the cylinder head.
- latching connections are formed by recesses in a portion of the spring elements, can be used in the detents of the fuel injection valve or the fuel distribution line.
- This embodiment can engage by the radial elasticity of the spring elements and requires no further components.
- the spring elements may have in a favorable embodiment radially outward refolding.
- the design of a bent portion of the spring elements, the spring constants can be influenced by pressure and train.
- the fastening device may consist of plastic injection molding.
- the fastening device is made of spring steel and as a stamped part with subsequent bending of the mold.
- the spring tongues may be on its side facing the retaining groove, at least in a partial area as far as axially bent, that a play-free, axially resilient jamming occurs when inserted into the retaining groove.
- a further advantage is that the retaining groove is formed on the fuel injection valve and the latching connection to the fuel distribution line.
- the attachment in the retaining groove requires the lower height and is Therefore, cheap to install the fuel injector.
- Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of a fastening device 1 according to the invention for a fuel injection valve for attachment to a fuel rail.
- two spring tongues 2 are formed, which between them an opening area with a allow maximum diameter d2.
- This opening area is oriented perpendicular to an imaginary axis 3, which is identical to an axis of symmetry of the fuel injection valve, which is not shown here.
- the spring tongues 2 have a tip distance d1, which is smaller than the distance d2.
- the fastening device 1 can be attached to the fuel injection valve via the spring tongues 2, which are insertable into a retaining groove. It is possible to postpone the fastening device 1 laterally. In the longitudinal direction of the axis 3 then there is a frictional connection. In the present case, two spring elements 4 adjoin the spring tongues 2, which springs can spring in the direction of the axis 3 both on pressure and on tension.
- Fig. 1 the fastening device is shown in the unloaded state in which no force acts on the spring elements 4.
- contact sections 5 of the spring elements 4 recesses 6 are arranged, in which, for example, the fuel distribution line can engage with corresponding notches.
- the spring elements 4 have radially with respect to the axis 3 to a folding region 7, the folds are executed in the present example rather sharp.
- the spring tongues 2 are slightly bent.
- Fig. 2 shows a schematic, sectional view of the embodiment of Fig. 1 in the installation position for a fuel injection valve 9, attached to a fuel distribution line 10.
- the fuel injection valve 9 is inserted with an end portion 11 in a receiving bore 12 of the fuel distribution line 10.
- the fastening device 1 is clipped with their recesses 6 in detents 16 on the fuel rail 10.
- the fastening device is in the sectional plane of the line 2 and the axis 3 in Fig. 1 shown in a defined plane.
- the spring tongues 2 with the edge portion 8, which is slightly bent, are inserted into the retaining groove 17, which is formed on the fuel injection valve 9.
- the respective fold region 7 of the two spring elements 4 lies radially outward.
- the parts of the spring elements 4 before and after the fold region 7 no longer lie parallel here since the fuel distributor line 10 exerts a pressure force in the direction of the flow of the fuel onto the fuel injection valve 9, which is transmitted by the fastening device 1 of the detents 16 on the retaining groove 17.
- This holding force is the necessary hold-down force to keep the fuel injection valve on a cylinder head, not shown here, safe against the pressure of a combustion chamber. Due to the bend in the edge region 8 a play of the spring tongues 2 is prevented in the retaining groove 17, since there is a jamming.
- the fuel injection valve 9 can be dismantled together with the fuel distribution line 10.
- each spring element 4 is pulled over its rest point and now exerts no pressure force on the fuel injection valve 9 more. Rather, a tensile force on the retaining groove 17 to the Fuel injector 9 transmitted and the fuel injection valve 9 pulled away from a cylinder head. It can thus be dismantled together with the fuel distribution line 10.
- the fuel distribution line 10 can be dismantled alone by previously the fastening device 1 is removed. This can be done by the contact areas 5 of the spring elements 4 are stretched so far radially outward that they can be removed from the latches 16.
- the fastening device in total, here in the representation forward to the viewer to be pulled out of the retaining groove 17 by the spring tongues 2 spread wide enough that the distance d1 in the Fig. 1 becomes large enough to be pulled over the diameter of the retaining groove 17 in its base.
- fastening device 1 By punching out the fastening device 1 from spring steel sheet and subsequent bending this shape fastening device 1 can be easily made and by the choice of suitable materials and large hold-down forces can be transmitted. As a result, otherwise necessary components, such as a fastening claw and screwing can be avoided.
- Fig. 3a, 3b and 3c show in the schematic detail sections further embodiments of the fastening device 1 according to the invention in the Fig. 1 and the Fig. 2 with different folding areas compared to the folding area 7 in the Fig. 1 and 2 ,
- the fastening device 1 is shown in each case only for one side due to the symmetry.
- the folding area 18a is in Fig. 3a designed as a round arch.
- Fig. 3b shows by way of example an acute-angled folding region 18b.
- Fig. 3c finally shows a multiple refolding 18c in the region of the spring elements 4th
- the two latter exemplary embodiments allow a relatively low spring constant.

Description
US 5,501,195 bekannt.

- In
