Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Behälter zum Transport von Schüttgütern, welcher insbesondere durch Kippen oder Drehen entleerbar ist und welcher einen Boden, zwei Stirnwände und zwei Seitenwände mit zumindest vier aneinander anschließenden Abschnitten aufweist, entweder oben offen ist oder mit einer aufmach- oder entfernbaren Abdeckung versehen ist, wobei von den Abschnitten der unterste gegenüber der Senkrechten geneigt nach außen verläuft, der an diesen anschließende Abschnitt zumindest im Wesentlichen senkrecht verläuft, der nächste Abschnitt gegenüber der Senkrechten geneigt nach innen verläuft und der oberste Abschnitt ebenfalls zumindest im Wesentlichen senkrecht verläuftThe invention relates to a container for the transport of bulk materials, which in particular by tilting or turning can be emptied and which has a bottom, two end walls and two side walls with at least four adjoining sections, either open at the top or is provided with a make-up or removable cover , wherein of the sections of the lowest with respect to the vertical inclined to the outside, which extends at this subsequent portion at least substantially perpendicular, the next portion inclined relative to the vertical inwardly and the uppermost portion also extends at least substantially perpendicular

Such a container is from the AU-B-430 417 known. This container has a substantially parallelepipedal main body and a cover having at the same time upwardly and inwardly extending side walls and a deck parallel to the bottom formed by flaps which can be opened and closed to load the load. For unloading an unloading flap is provided on the rear wall.

From the GB-A-2 331 970 a container for transporting bulk materials and the like on railway wagons is known, which is designed such that its outer upper, longitudinal roof edges can be offset by a special mechanism in height, so that the container shape can be adapted to different British standards.

In other known containers wood chips, for example, transported, the containers are transported by analogy to containers on trucks or in rail freight transport. From the DE 44 01 295 C1 a container with a folding bottom is known, which consists of an upstanding walls having receiving body and a one-sided at the bottom of the Receiving body hinged bottom flap, wherein on the opposite sides of the pivot axis of the bottom flap a lock is arranged. Also in the case of the EP 1 010 645 A1 known cargo containers for the transport of bulk goods on rail vehicles is pivoting down to empty the floor. Also known are containers that can be opened on an end wall, so that the containers can be unloaded by tilting. Opening doors on end walls or bottom flaps is uncomfortable and time consuming. The opening mechanisms require moving and thus interference-prone parts, so that these containers are only partially suitable for the economic transport of bulk goods. Other known containers can be emptied by turning by means of an emptying device, which has a mandrel for receiving and rotating the container in the bottom area. Certain dimensions of the containers are standardized and can not be exceeded in order to ensure safe transport in rail freight transport, such as tunnels. As a result, the size and the loading volume of the known containers are limited.

The object of the invention is to design a container for bulk materials which can be emptied, in particular by turning or tilting, preferably usable in rail freight traffic, in such a way that it has an optimized, higher loading volume while observing standardized maximum dimensions.

The object is achieved according to the invention in that its cross-sectional contour in the top and bottom corresponds to the cross-section and dimensions of standardized cuboid container at least largely and in the intermediate middle region adapted to the cross section and the dimensions of railway wagons, at least approximately, wherein the Width of the container between the uppermost portions of the side walls of the width between the lowermost ends of the outwardly inclined portions corresponds.

In this way, the cross section of the container is optimized so that a significantly larger loading volume is available. At the same time, care is taken to ensure that the dimensions of the container are within the limits of the standard Dimensions remain. According to the invention executed containers are also adapted to the dimensions of a conventional container and the dimensions of a railway wagon, taking advantage of the largest possible dimensions.

According to the invention, the container is designed in such a way that its cross-sectional width is approximately 2550 mm in the uppermost and lowermost regions and approximately 2950 mm in the central region.

In a preferred embodiment, the uppermost portion is the shortest portion extending between the portions inclined to the vertical portion of the longest.

In another preferred embodiment, in the lowermost region, a vertical side wall section extending to a height of 0.3 m, measured from the bottom plate, is provided.

In a preferred embodiment of the container, two receiving profiles for inserting fork arms of an emptying device are provided on the bottom plate. This is a simple way to charge on and unloading of the transport vehicle, be it a railway wagon or a truck enabled.

There are restrictions on the height of the container on certain railway lines, but this is not the case on many railways. In order to provide the largest possible loading volume, it is advantageous if rectangular containers of different heights can be placed on the container.

The container 1 shown in the drawings is intended for transporting bulk materials with low specific weight, such as wood chips, by railroad cars but also trucks. The container 1 has two matching end walls 3, two also coincidentally executed side walls 2 and a bottom plate 4, so that the container 1 is open at the top. The container 1 may be provided during the transport of the bulk material with a tarpaulin or the like as a cover. Alternatively, he may have a fixed, fastened and closable cover.

On the bottom plate 4, preferably on the inside, there are two approximately rectangular cross-section receiving profiles 5, which extend in a straight line in the transverse direction of the container 1. The distance between the one profile 5 to the adjacent end wall 3 corresponds to the distance of the other profile 5 to the adjacent end wall 3. The mutual distance of the profiles 5 is at the mutual distance of fork arms of a discharge device 6, which in 4 to 6 shown is adjusted.

Fig. 2 shows the cross-sectional contour of the container 1, which corresponds to the contour of the end walls 3. The largest width B of the container 1 is adapted to the width of a railway wagon (the dimensions of which are standardized for international liberal use in Europe) and is according to UIC 505 about 3 m. Just above the bottom plate 4, whose width corresponds to the width of conventional containers, closes at a short vertical section 2'a at a height of about 0.3 m above the bottom plate 4 in each case one with respect to the vertical at an acute angle of about 45 ° outwardly extending short lower side wall portion 2a, which extends to the extent of the width B. The section 2a merges into a central section 2b, which extends substantially perpendicularly or at an angle of up to 5 ° with respect to the vertical inclined inwards. The middle side wall portions 2b are adjoined by side wall portions 2c inclined by about 30 °, which reduce the width of the container to the width in the region of the portions 2'a. To these portions 2c close to the side wall portions 2'a parallel upper side wall portions 2d, which at a distance of about 3m measured from the bottom plate 4, end. The side wall sections 2d, together with the end walls 3 ending at the same height, enclose the opening of the container 1 Fig. 2 the dashed lines show the cross-sectional contour of a railway wagon, the dotted lines that of a cuboid container.

The cross-section of the container 1 is adapted or approximated in the region of the lower and middle side wall sections 2a, 2b, 2c to the cross section of conventional railway wagons, the side wall sections 2'a and 2d correspond to the cross section in the lower and upper region of the usual container for road, Rail or ship transport. A container 1 designed according to the invention utilizes the maximum dimensions permitted by standards UIC 505 in railway freight traffic and is therefore optimized with respect to the loading volume. The container 1 is preferably used in rail freight transport, as by its greatest width for road transport exemptions are required.

The container 1 is therefore designed in cross-section such that it has in the lower region (between the short sections 2'a) the width of a conventional container, approximately 2550 mm, then (in sections 2a, 2b, 2c) the cross-section of a UIC-505 standard railway wagon with a maximum width of 2950 mm and in the upper part (in sections 2d) again the width of a conventional container.

Fig. 3 shows you one Fig. 1 similarly executed container with a bottom 4, side walls 2 and end walls 3 and additionally an attachable, rectangular frame 10, the side parts are consistently made high, for example, have a height between 25 cm and 70 cm. The frame dimensions are at least substantially coincident with the dimensions of the opening of the container 1. The frame 10 is fixed in a detachable manner to the container 1, an exchange against a different height frame is therefore possible.

In addition, it may be provided to arrange one of the end walls hinged at the upper edge of the container, or to provide an openable flap on the end wall.

Fig. 4 to Fig. 6 show a discharge and emptying process. The emptying device 6 is a vehicle which, similar to a forklift, has two fork arms 7 arranged on a carrier 8. The carrier 8 is height-adjustable along a vertical mast 9. In addition, the carrier 8 is rotatably arranged relative to the frame 9 on a device not shown in the drawing figures. The arrangement takes place in such a way that the center of gravity of a container 1 accommodated by means of the fork arms 7 is aligned at least substantially with the axis of rotation of the motor-driven rotating device. In this way, the torque required for turning can be kept low.

Fig. 3 shows the emptying device 6 during the unloading of a container 1 filled with bulk material from a railway wagon. Fig. 4 shows the lifted container 1 during transport, Fig. 5 the container 1 in a twisted position after actuation of the rotary device, wherein an intermediate position is shown. The container 1 is rotated until a complete emptying has taken place.
