Definitions

  • the invention relates to a surface drainage device, in particular a drainage channel according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a surface drainage device is known for example from CH 681 313 or DE 195 11 788 AI.
  • a latch is attached to the underside of the cover, which bridges the cross-section of the cover or the drainage channel equipped with it and engages with soapy noses in undercuts or recesses provided in the channel body.
  • the known devices are relatively complex.
  • the invention has for its object to further develop a surface drainage device of the type mentioned in such a way that a simplified Manufacture and assembly is guaranteed with at least the same durability and fastening performance.
  • An essential point of the invention lies in the fact that the locking means associated with the cover are designed as elastic hook elements and are fastened to the edges of the cover. This results in a considerable saving in material, since the partial areas of the bars provided in the known arrangements, which are in the central areas of the cover, which are superfluous for the actual fastening task, are superfluous. In addition, there is an increased durability or fastening performance. While in the known devices the release of the snap engagement on one side of the bolt or the release of the bolt from the grate loosens the hold of the cover on the body installed in the floor as a whole, in the arrangement according to the invention the locking means on both sides, i.e. on the Edges of the cover independent of each other. If one of the locking means is released, the other remains unchanged and can continue to perform its fastening function.

  • Snap engagement can be brought to hold the cover on the body, solved in that the first locking means comprise elastic hook elements which are attached to edges of the cover.
  • the first locking means are preferably detachably attached to the cover.
  • the first locking means preferably comprise fastening elements which, when the first locking means are fastened to the cover, can be deformed with less effort than when the first locking means are removed from the cover. On the one hand, this ensures easy assembly (at the factory or for repairs), and on the other hand ensures that the locking means are held securely on the cover.
  • the first locking means are preferably inserted into undercuts or recesses in the cover on the edge. There is therefore no additional cost involved in the production of the cover, which would otherwise be necessary with separate fastening devices for the locking means.
  • the first locking means preferably comprise tensioning devices which tension the first locking means with respect to the cover in order to secure a play-free attachment. This ensures a rattle-free hold of the cover on the body installed in the floor.

  • the hook elements 30 In the horizontal region (in the assembled state), the hook elements 30 have a lower projection 60 which engages in punched-outs 26 correspondingly formed on the support edge 29 of the cover 20. Furthermore, the hook element 30 has a protection 64 on a mounting head 62, which protects the mounting head 62 divides into a lower mounting head 61 and an upper mounting head 63. The height of the mounting head is slightly larger than the vertical extent of the undercut 23 formed on the cover 20 the lower mounting head

  • the elastic design of the hook element 30 clamps it firmly in the undercut 23. Even with dynamic stresses on the cover 20, a consistently firm locking of the hook element 30 in the undercut 23 on the cover 20 is thus ensured.
  • Further advantages of a hook element 30 made of elastomer are, of course, both the resistance to corrosion and the consistently firm locking in the drainage channel. It is also possible to use appropriately shaped hook elements on a cast grate that are bent out of the strip material.
