Definitions
- the invention relates to a manual hazard detector, comprising a housing of a base plate and a hood-shaped cover plate having at least one window-like opening in which a depressible rectangular plate is seated, which is in operative connection with at least one switch, during and after the pressing of the plate permanently changes its switching state.
- Such danger detectors which are often referred to as fire detectors or as a push button, are known.
- Some countries prescribe a compressible elastic plastic plate, which returns to its original position when the detector is reset manually.
- Other countries prescribe a pane of glass which is destroyed when pushed in.
- the plate holds with one of its edges, usually with its upper edge, the pusher of a microswitch in its working position.
- the pusher of the microswitch is released, so that its switching contact changes from the working to the rest position.
- the switching signal generated thereby is fed via a line connected to the detector directly or after processing in an electronic circuit of a control center.
- a document WO 01/11585 which is regarded as the nearest St.DT, discloses a manual hazard detector according to the preamble of claim 1.
- manual hazard detector of the further mentioned kind is known from the DE 101 43 284 A1 known.
- the impressible plate is made of plastic. Against its inside is the one end of a two-armed lever. When the plate is pressed in, this arm of the lever actuates a switch arranged underneath. At the same time the other arm of the lever comes to lie under an opening of the housing upper part. To reset a tool or key is inserted into the opening to push the lever back to its original position.
- the invention has for its object to provide a hazard detector of the type specified in the introduction, but on the other hand simplified construction.
- the plate holds in the resting state of the detector with one of its edges a pivotable about the base plate axis one-armed lever against the force of at least one spring in its rest position that the lever is in operative connection with the switch, that the plate bears with its opposite edge against a cam of a cylindrical body which is rotatable about an axis perpendicular to the base plate and that the cylindrical body is rotatable in a position in which the cam is out of engagement with the edge of the plate, whereby spring-loaded lever pivots in its triggered or alarm position.
- the cylindrical body is rotatable through an opening of the hood-shaped cover plate by means of a key-like tool (claim 2), so that the detector housing for performing a functional test or for resetting a depressed (plastic) plate does not need to be opened.
- the hood-shaped cover plate may have a preferably closable opening, via which a key-like tool for rotating the cylindrical body can be inserted (claim 3).
- the closure of the opening in the cover plate prevents the ingress of dust and water into the detector and, together with the key-like tool, makes unauthorized manipulation of the detector difficult.
- the plate can at its two other, free longitudinal edges, preferably this is their side edges, slidably guided (claim 4), so that on the one hand behind the plate a large space remains, in which the plate is pressed and on the other hand counteracting a displacement of the plate Frictional forces can be kept low.
- the plate can be supported with its two other, free longitudinal edges on a dust cover, the center has a trough-shaped recessed area as a free space into which the plate is pressed (claim 5).
- this dust cover is designed in cooperation with the base plate so that it also provides protection against the ingress of water.
- the lever has a flag, which is in the idle state of the detector outside the window opening and in the tripped state within the window opening (claim 7), so that it can be seen at a glance, whether the detector is in rest or in the alarm state, what before In particular, if the detector is equipped with an elastic plastic plate, otherwise not readily ascertainable.
- the lever loading into its working position spring can act on the free end (claim 9). Therefore, it is sufficient a relatively weak spring, which excludes the risk of a lever made of plastic that the lever deforms over time by cold flow.
- the base plate may have two holes and the dust cover corresponding recessed openings that dustproof with these holes are aligned (claim 10) so that the detector can be mounted without dust and dirt can penetrate into its interior.
- the hood-shaped cover plate with its one edge in the corresponding edge of the base plate can be suspended and the base plate has in the region of its opposite edge latching claws which engage in corresponding openings in the adjacent side surface of the hood-shaped cover plate (claim 11), so that the hood-shaped cover plate without tools can be snapped onto the detector base plate.
- the key-shaped tool two lugs at a distance of the openings in the respective side surface of the hood-shaped cover plate have (claim 12).
- the roller-shaped body may be rotatable in a position in which its cam or a second cam bulges the respective side wall of the hood-shaped cover plate so far that the latching claws out of engagement with the Openings in this side surface come (claim 13). This makes it possible to open the detector without additional tool to bring him by restoring the plastic plate or replacement of the glass plate from the alarm state back to the idle or standby state.
- the cylindrical body can rest in the rotational position in which its cam holds the plate in the rest position against a stop or be releasably locked (claim 14). This ensures that the plate, whether after a functional test, or after a reset of the detector from the alarm to the resting state, is vibration-proof in accordance with the regulations.
- the base plate 1 has positioning pins 1.1 for the circuit board 2 and holes 1.2 for the passage of arranged on the back of the circuit board 2 pins 2.1 to connect them to a terminal block 2.4.
- the base plate 1 has at its upper edge recesses 1.3 for suspending not visible in this representation lugs on the upper side edge of the hood-shaped cover plate 7, which also has not visible openings at its lower side edge in this illustration, in which located at the bottom of the base plate 1 Intervene locking claws 1.4.
