Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Färbung von Eiern, wobei hierbei zusätzlich ein Glitzereffekt aufgebracht wird.
- Verfahren zur Färbung von Eiern sind seit vielen Jahrzehnten Stand der Technik. Übliche Färbeverfahren sind etwa das Färben von Ostereiern in einem Tauchbad, wobei ein wasserlöslicher Farbstoff oder eine Mischung eines solchen in Wasser gegeben wird und hierin das Ei gekocht oder das gekochte Ei nachträglich gegeben wird. Weiterhin bekannt sind Ostereierfärbeverfahren, in denen mittels eines Malgeräts unmittelbar auf ein ausgeblasenes gekochtes und gegebenenfalls schon abgekühltes Ei ein Farbstoff aufgetragen wird. Solchermaßen gefärbte Eier können ein- oder mehrfarbig angefertigt und zusätzlich beispielsweise mit Klebebildern versehen werden.
- Es entspricht einem zunehmenden Trend, dass Verbraucher höherwertige bzw. höherwertig aussehende Produkte im Vergleich zu den schon lange aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Produkten herstellen und/oder erwerben möchten. Es ist bei den angesprochenen Verbrauchern ein Bedürfnis festzustellen, zwar weiterhin Ostereier zu färben, hierbei jedoch besondere Farbeffekte einfach und sicher erzeugen zu wollen. Insbesondere sollen derartige zusätzliche und eine höhere Anmutung schaffende Effekte einfach - insbesondere von Kindern - zu erzeugen sein.

US 5,312,481 offenbart eine im feuchten Zustand als Leim dienende Farbe,US 5,743,404 die Herstellung synthetischer Ostereier, wobei diese aus einem Material hergestellt sind, welches ein Basismaterial und Klebemittel umfasst, wobei das Klebemittel auch eine Latex- oder Acrylfarbe umfassen kann. - Es ist daher Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein Verfahren zur Verfügung zu stellen, mit welchem zusätzlich zu einer Färbung besondere Effekte einfach und sicher auf ein Ei aufgebracht werden können.
- Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe schlägt die vorliegende Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Färbung von Eiern mit einem Farbmittel vor, wobei das Ei neben einer Färbung zusätzlich mit einem Glitzereffekt versehen wird derart, dass
- in einem ersten Schritt ein erwärmtes Ei mit mindestens einem auch als Klebemittel dienenden Farbmittel gefärbt wird; und
- in mindestens einem zweiten Schritt vor Abkühlung des Eis die Folie mit der Partikel tragenden, insbesondere metallischen, Seite mit der Eioberfläche in Kontakt gebracht wird, so dass Partikel von dieser auf die Eioberfläche übertragen werden.
- Voraussetzung hierfür ist eine ausreichende Klebrigkeit auf der Eioberfläche einerseits, andererseits eine ausreichende Ablösefähigkeit der Partikel von der Folie.
- Farbmittel im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung sind lösliche Farbstoffe einerseits und unlösliche Pigmente bzw. Pigmentdispersionen andererseits. Umfasst hiervon sind insbesondere natürliche oder synthetische Farbstoffe und/oder Pigmente. Das Farbmittel im Sinne der Erfindung kann auch eine Mischung verschiedener Farbmittel zur Erzeugung von Mischfarben darstellen.
- Partikel im Sinne der Erfindung können insbesondere aus Metallen, Kunststoffen und/oder Pigmenten/Lacken gebildet sein. Metallpartikel im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung können sowohl aus reinen Metallen als auch aus Legierungen sein. Zu nennen sind hier als Metalle insbesondere Gold, Silber, Chrom, Nickel, Aluminium, Zinn oder Zink und als Metalllegierungen Gold- und Silberlegierungen sowie insbesondere Chrom-Nickel-Legierungen. Als Kunststoffe und/oder Lacke/Pigmente für die Partikel können beispielsweise die aus der Schreibmaschinentechnik bekannten Farbbandmaterialien verwendet werden.
- Mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren ist es einfach möglich, Eier - insbesondere für das Osterfest - zu färben, welche zusätzlich einen sehr wertig aussehenden Effekt durch die auf die Eioberfläche übertragenen Metallpartikel aufweisen. Dabei kann das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren sehr einfach und sicher und damit insbesondere auch von Kindern durchgeführt werden.
- Das Farbmittel dient gleichzeitig als Klebemittel. Dabei entfällt die Verwendung eines getrennt vom Farbmittel anzuwendenden Klebemittels. Als Farbmittel wird dabei vorteilhafterweise eine bei Erwärmung verflüssigbare Farbmasse auf Gelatinebasis verwendet. Diese kann vorteilhafterweise wasserlöslich sein, muss dies aber nicht. Für die vorliegende Erfindung verwendbare verflüssigbare Farbmassen sind beispielsweise offenbart in der
DE 44 21 723 A1 . Das Farbmittel besteht dabei aus einem wasserlöslichen Farbstoff, welcher als Lebensmittelfarbe zugelassen ist. Die Klebewirkung wird dabei insbesondere durch die in der Farbmasse enthaltene Gelatine erzeugt, wobei die Stärke der Klebewirkung durch Zugabe von Löse- und/oder Feuchthaltemitteln einstellbar ist. - Bei Auftragung der gelatinehaltigen Farbmasse auf eine erwärmte Eioberfläche verdunstet das Lösemittel, und die Gelatine härtet langsam aus, bis diese eine für die Ablösung der Metallpartikel ausreichende Klebewirkung aufweist. Die Gelatine selbst wird dabei in Lebensmittelqualität verwendet. Mögliche, die Klebrigkeit einstellende Löse- und/oder Feuchthaltemittel sind dabei insbesondere Glycerin, aber auch Ethanol, Polyglykolether, Diethylenglykol und Methoxypropanol. Weitere Löse- und/oder Feuchthaltemittel sind in der
DE 44 21 723 A1 offenbart. - "Erwärmtes Ei" im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung bedeutet, dass es sich dabei um ein soeben gekochtes und aus dem Wassertopf entnommenes heißes Ei, aber auch ein bereits etwas abgekühltes Ei handeln kann, wobei die Eioberfläche eine Temperatur von mindestens 30°C, bevorzugt mindestens 45°C, aufweisen sollte. Das Ei selbst kann in jeglichem Kochgrad verwendet werden, also weich-, mittel- oder hartgekocht. Das Farbmittel, welches gleichzeitig als Klebemittel dient, kann dabei beispielsweise aus einem Malstift auf das Ei aufgebracht werden, es kann jedoch auch einfach ein Einmalhandschuh über die Hand gestreift und hierein das Farbmittel und anschließend das Ei auf die Hand gegeben werden, so dass dann durch Bewegung der Hand und insbesondere der einzelnen Finger das Farbmittel auf die Eioberfläche übertragen wird. Wird ein Farbmittel verwendet, welches eine bei Erwärmung verflüssigbare Farbmasse auf Gelatinebasis aufweist, so wird diese, welche üblicherweise auch in Form von Einmalmalstiften in den Verkehr gebracht wird, zunächst in Wasser bei einer Temperatur von 40 bis 60 °C verflüssigt und anschließend entweder unmittelbar auf das Ei oder nach Aufgabe desselben auf einen Einmalhandschuh auf die Eioberfläche übertragen.
- Vorteilhafterweise wird als Folie eine solche verwendet, welche mindestens zwei Schichten aufweist, wobei die Grundschicht aus einem Kunststoffmaterial, welches hinreichend stabil sein sollte, besteht, und die mindestens eine weitere Schicht aus einem auf der Grundschicht aufgebrachten, insbesondere gedampften Metall besteht. Es ist aber auch vorgesehen, mindestens zweischichtige Folien mit einem dünnen Kunststoffmaterial als Träger und Partikeln aus Kunststoff, Pigmenten und/oder Metallen bzw. Metalllegierungen einzusetzen. Selbstverständlich können auch Folien mit mehreren metallischen Schichten verwendet werden, wodurch dann nach Übertragung der Metallpartikel von der Folie auf die Eioberfläche je nach Klebegrad nicht nur unterschiedliche Mengen an Metallpartikeln, sondern auch unterschiedliche Metallschichten abgelöst werden, welche - wenn diese eine unterschiedliche Farbe aufweisen - zu unterschiedlichen Glanz- und Glitzereffekten auf dem fertig gefärbten Ei führen. Die Grundfolie ist bevorzugt gebildet aus Homo-, Co-, Block- und/oder Randompolymeren des Polyethylen, Polypropylen, Polyester und/oder Polyethylenterephthalat bzw. deren Mischungen. Vorzugsweise weist diese eine Dicke in einem Bereich von 5 µm bis etwa 25 µm auf.
- In einer weiteren vorteilhaften Ausbildung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens wird der zweite Schritt betreffend das Aufbringen der Partikel auf die Eioberfläche mehrmals wiederholt, und zwar entweder mit derselben Folie oder aber einer weiteren Folie, welche mit einem anderen Partikelmaterial, insbesondere mit einem anderen Metall mit einem von der ersten Folie unterschiedlichen Glanz bzw. Farbe Verwendung findet. Hierbei können dann einfach aufgebaute, insbesondere zweischichtige Folien eingesetzt werden, wobei hierdurch auch unterschiedliche Glanz- und Glitzereffekte einfach erzeugt werden können. Wird ein misch- bzw. mehrfarbiges Ei gewünscht, so kann selbstverständlich auch der erste Schritt des Verfahrens mehrmals mit weiteren Farbmitteln wiederholt werden.
- Es kann ein Set zur Färbung von Eiern mit einem Glitzereffekt, wobei die Färbung gemäß dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren erzeugt wird, zur Verfügung gestellt sein, wobei das Set mindestens eine mit Folie, insbesondere metallische Folie, und mindestens ein gleichzeitig als Klebemittel dienendes Farbmittel umfasst. Dieser und weitere Vorteile der vorliegenden Erfindung werden gemäß dem folgenden Beispiel näher erläutert:
- Als Farbmittel wurde eine Farbmasse auf Gelatinebasis eingesetzt, welche folgende Zusammensetzung aufweist:
Gelatine (Lebensmittelqualität) 25,0 Gew% Glycerin (Löse-/Feuchthaltemittel) 13,0 Gew% Konservierungsmittel 0,5 Gew% Puffermittel 0,3 Gew% Farbstoff Quinoline yellow (E 104) 0,3 Gew% Enthärtetes Wasser 60,9 Gew% - Die Gewichtsprozentangaben beziehen sich jeweils auf die Gesamtmenge der eingesetzten Farbmasse.
- Als Folie wurde eine zweischichtige Metallfolie "Alufein GTS" der Firma Leonhard Kurz GmbH & o., Fürth, Deutschland, eingesetzt mit einer Grundschicht aus Polyester und einer auf dieser gedampften Schicht oder metallisierten Lackbeschichtung reinen Aluminiums.
- Die Farbmasse gemäß Ziffer 1 wurde bei 50°C in einem Wasserbad verflüssigt. Die Farbmasse befand sich dabei in einem Malstift, wie dieser in
DE 44 21 723 A1 offenbart ist. Nach Verflüssigung der Farbmasse wurde die Spitze des Einmalmalstifts mit einer Schere abgeschnitten und die Farbmasse auf eine durch einen Einmalhandschuh geschützte Hand in einer Menge von etwa 15 Tropfen, das entspricht etwa 0,3 bis 0,6 g gegeben. In die Hand wurde dann ein hart gekochtes Ei mit einer Temperatur der Eioberfläche von etwa 50°C gelegt. Durch Bewegung der Finger der Hand wurde das Ei bewegt und gedreht und dadurch in Kontakt mit der auf dem Einmalhandschuh befindlichen Farbmasse gebracht. - Nachdem hierdurch eine Gelbfärbung des Eis in dem gewünschten Farbintensitätsgrad erzielt wurde, wurde eine Folie mit der metallbedampften Oberseite mit der noch warmen (etwa 40 bis 45°C) Eioberfläche in Kontakt gebracht. Hierbei konnte entweder punktuell Folie aufgebracht werden, beispielsweise durch Druck der Folie mittels eines Fingers oder Löffelstiels auf der Seite der Grundfolie, oder aber das gefärbte Ei konnte in der Folie eingewickelt und "massiert" werden, wo durch eine besonders umfangreiche und gleichmäßige Übertragung von Partikeln von der Metalloberfläche der Folie auf die Eioberfläche erfolgte, die durch Nachreiben mit z.B. einem Löffelstiel verstärkt, auch punktuell, werden konnte.
- Das Ergebnis ist ein sehr wertig und effektvoll aussehendes gefärbtes Ei mit einem Glitzereffekt, welches insbesondere bei Beleuchtung mittels elektrischer Lichtquellen oder der Sonne einen schönen Effekt zeigt.
Claims (5)
- Verfahren zur Färbung von Eiern mit einem Farbmittel, wobei das Ei neben einer Färbung zusätzlich mit einem Glitzereffekt versehen wird derart, dass Partikel von einer Folie auf die Eioberfläche übertragan werden, wobei die Übertragung der Partikel durch ein auf dem Ei aufgebrachtes Klebemittel sichergestellt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass- in einem ersten Schritt ein erwärmtes Ei mit mindestens einem auch als Klebemittel dienenden Farbmittel gefärbt wird; und- in mindestens einem zweiten Schritt vor Abkühlung des Eis die Folie mit der partikeltragenden Seite mit der Eioberfläche in Kontakt gebracht wird, so dass die Partikel von dieser auf die Eioberfläche übertragen werden.
- Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Farbmittel eine bei Erwärmung verflüssigbare Farbmasse auf Gelatinebasis verwendet wird.
- Verfahren gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Farbmittel zusätzlich Lösemittel aufweist.
- Verfahren gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Folie eine solche mit mindestens zwei Schichten verwendet wird, wobei die Grundschicht aus einem Kunststoffmaterial und die mindestens eine weitere Schicht aus einem auf der Grundschicht aufgebrachten Metall besteht.
- Verfahren gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zweite Schritt mehrmals wiederholt wird.
