Definitions
- the invention relates to a flood protection wall for Retention of water in the shore area of waters, such as Rivers, lakes, seas or the like, at over the Normal level rising water level with a stationary with wall connected to the shore area, in the middle of which a consisting of hollow bodies automatically floating Flood protection wall is located.
- flood protection measures such as. Dikes, however, these are not everywhere usable and infinite to increase, for example, not in the area of urban Development. Or protective wall in urban development, or Coastal areas on rivers and lakes, where protective walls in over Viewing height for reasons of living quality or for reasons of tourism are not possible or not desired and it can be used in such flood protection measures happen that the height for incoming flood not enough.
- a flood protection wall with the features of the preamble of claim 1 known.
- this flood protection wall are automatic floatable body over hinges with a tight with the Bank area anchored wall connected.
- the bodies are at normal water level below the level of shore attachment collapsed, become with increasing water level however, taken from the rising water to the Horizontally, but then have to go by hand to the vertical Personnel-intensive must be set up.
- the task is based, a flood protection wall of the to create the type mentioned above, with an off buoyant hollow bodies formed, and in the middle in Lenght of the protective wall cavity, recessed additional protective wall in case of incoming flood automatically increases the protective structure, and this over the widest possible range of additional Water height.
- the flood protection wall should also be free from Sealing problems at interfaces between individual be buoyant bodies.
- the second wall in the cavity of the protective wall free standing or hanging it can be used when Flooding due to buoyancy of buoyant bodies ascend conditionally and make a safe wall against a flooding.
- the sliding mechanism ensures that the second middle wall in a reliable vertical Guidance can slide along. Depending on the depth of the cavity in the vertical direction in the protective wall, the Additionally possible protection height can be selected. It is too possible the flood control wall on OK existing Lower the ground, so that the flood barrier at lowered second middle wall Visually not disturbing is.
- An embodiment of the sliding mechanism in the cavity of Protective wall as stated in claim 5, provides a particularly simple and safe implementation of such Mechanism.
- Seals in the end plates, as claimed in claim 6 are provided in the event of a flood and prevent flooded second wall an overflow of water between the protective walls.
- a safety mechanism ensures as in claim 7 provided that the second protective wall does not float too high and can tip over.
- the flood protection wall is as in claim 8 built, it can be modularly built, dismantled and to be serviced. Individual elements can be replaced become. Such a wall can be one of the circumstances corresponding number of elements with a standardized Series are built.
- the flood protection wall shown in Figures 1 to 10 consists of a shore-fixed reinforced concrete foundation and a reinforced concrete wall H5 u. H38 which can be clad with bricks or clinker bricks, limestone or rock, depending on local conditions.
- the core of the wall consists of two steel sheet piles H1 u. H31, with a base plate H8 u. H41 are made of steel (welding) to achieve greater strength.
- the protective wall element H2 also consists of sheet pile wall elements. On top of this protective wall element, a hollow body made of steel or aluminum is attached, this is the float H3 and raises the middle protection wall at high tide.
- the end profile H4 serves as additional overflow protection.
- the floating body is equipped with mounting eyelets H10 to allow faster replacement of individual elements.
- the sheet pile walls and self-inflating bulkhead are provided with H6 safety hooks to prevent over-inflating during extreme, extreme floods.
- the protective wall is so flooded, but does not snap out, and thus can not tilt.
- the height of the self-buoyant protective wall H2 u. B32 depends on several circumstances, in particular the following questions: What height of the protective wall is required, and what height of the protective wall is possible for static reasons (eg quantity of water and water pressure)?
- These spacers should be made of plastic or stainless steel if possible. However, stainless steel, plastic or carbon castors would be better to have a long service life and low maintenance.
- the flow spacers H12 prevent tilting of the protective wall.
- the flow spacers are made of the same materials as the spacers H7.
- the self-inflating protective wall H2 and the float are manufactured in a mounting unit of about 2 to 3m in length, to ensure a quick installation and a quick replacement.
- the protective wall is provided with a connection H11 (tongue and groove) and a connection seal H18 made of rubber, plastic, silicone or another durably elastic material.
- the float is also moved with a H20 seal. Finally, a sealing plug H19 is installed to prevent lateral displacement of the float.
- a sealing profile H9 is attached to the uppermost end of the water-side sheet pile wall. This sealing profile lies close to the protective wall, and still increases with increasing water level.
- the H9 sealing profile may be made of rubber, silicone or other durable elastic material, possibly provided with an elastic wire or plastic fabric to give the sealing profile even more strength.
- the cover profile H13 is mounted on the shore-side fixed sheet piling, as a protective cover.
- the fixed part of a flood protection wall generally has a height of 0.80 m to 1.20 m above the upper edge of existing terrain.
- flood protection doors H16 In order to reach the waterside terrain flood protection doors H16 have to be installed at certain intervals. To do this, a bottom rail H17 must be installed in the fixed protective wall, vertical door and end profiles H14 . These must have a height that corresponds to the height of the flooded bulkhead at high tide.
- the door and end profile Towards the protective wall, the door and end profile possesses a U-shaped profile in which the protective wall, which floats during floods, runs.
- End profile H14 provided with a sealing lip H15 on the water side. This can be made of rubber or another elastic material.
- shatterproof glass plates can be installed in the upper part of the doors.
- the flood protection doors H16 must be closed manually at high tide, this can be done by one person, and is not a big expense because at flood a Huchwasserschutzbautechnik requires some supervision.
- Type II (2) of the flood protection wall can be designed as a flood protection wall which is generally 0.80 to 1.20 m high. But then as described in Type I flood protection doors are required, these can be installed as well. Only the U-shaped door u. End profile H14 , the protective wall element H32 must be correspondingly wider.
- this flood protection wall can also be adapted to the height of the upper edge of existing terrain (promenade), since the hollow space between the solid sheet pile walls floods from below, thus lifting the hollow body of the self-rising protective wall H32 .
- Steel sheet piles H31 are particularly suitable for these flood protection walls, as they are characterized by high stability and a long service life. Only a reinforced concrete wall would not work well with the H34 spacer rollers , even if stones and sand peel off the concrete and could loosen or damage the rollers.
- the self-rising protective wall element H32 consists of a hollow body of aluminum or coated steel sheets.
- the strength of the floating protective wall is reinforced inside with vertical bars.
- At the top and bottom of the floating guard element each end profiles H40 are made of the same material. These serve the strength and close the hollow body waterproof.
- H34 spacer rollers are installed at the top of the fixed sheet piling and at the bottom of the bulkhead .
- height adjustment shock absorbers H42 are located on the base plate .
- the H39 water inflow and outflow pipes which run underground from the water to the flood protection wall and pass over the H41 base plate through the water-side sheet pile wall, flood the system in the event of flooding and the self-rising H32 protective wall floats and forms a flood protection.
- the water-side pipe opening is at normal water level above the water surface, so when floods return, the flood protection system run empty again, and the protective wall sank again.
