Arrangement according to Claim 1, characterized in that the mechanism that controls the blocking member consists of a threaded rod (84) of longitudinal axis which is screwed into the base (72) of the yoke (68), the front end (88) of which rests against a surface (64) which is fixed longitudinally and the rear end of which has an imprint (86) that complements that of an operating tool that can be introduced through the opening (98) in the edge face panel (96) of the opening leaf.
  6. Arrangement according to Claim 5, characterized in that the front end (88) of the threaded rod (84) is intended to bear against a lateral surface (64) of the peg (60) of the external element (56).
  7. Arrangement according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the blocking member (68) collaborates with prepositioning means (82) arranged on handle support (14) and which, while the handle is being mounted, keep the blocking member (68) in its unblocked position.
  8. Arrangement according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the handle support (14) is intended to be positioned in the internal space of an opening leaf, of the type in which the opening leaf comprises an internal space delimited by two panels connected by an edge face panel (96), and the control mechanism (84) that operates the blocking member (68) can be manoeuvred through an opening (98) formed in the edge face panel (96) of the opening leaf.
  9. Arrangement according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the external element (56), which is held on the handle support (14) by the blocking member (68), forms a locking body (56) which contributes to the attaching of the handle to the opening leaf.
  10. Arrangement according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the external element (56) which is held on the handle support (14) by the blocking member (68) forms a fixed element for grasping by means of which a user can bring the opening leaf from a closed position into an open position.
  11. Arrangement according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the external element (56) which is held on the handle support (14) by the blocking member (68) forms a housing intended to house a lock.
  12. Method of attaching a fixing peg (60) of an external element (56) into a handle support (14) by use of a blocking member (68) according to any one of Claims 1 to 11, characterized in that it comprises the following steps:
    • the yoke (68) that forms the blocking member is introduced longitudinally from the rear forward, as far as a forward unblocked position, into a complementary slideway (74) formed at the rear of the support (14),
    • the yoke (68) is brought by the control means (84) longitudinally backwards as far as its blocking position in which the pins (78), formed at the front ends of each branch (70), have engaged in the corresponding housings (80) in the peg (60) of the external element (56), the latter then being housed between the two longitudinal branches (70) of the blocking yoke (68).
