Definitions
- the present invention relates to an outsole for a sports shoe, in particular Cross-country skiing or telemark shoe, consisting of a back, a heel comprehensive section and a front, slightly cupped configured section, wherein the outsole throughout of relatively hard material, in particular plastic manufactured and running side both in the area of the front and in the area of the rear Section with a tread of relatively soft, especially rubbery material is provided, which together with the associated outsole portions a predetermined Total sole thickness or sole height defined.
- outsoles are well known. They are for example by the applicant manufactured and sold for years under the brand "NNN”.
- Running side have this Outsoles two Lekss Entrysnuten and adjoining transverse grooves, the Lekss Equipmentsnuten extend over the entire sole length and with complementary longitudinal guide ribs on an associated ski binding plate interact.
- At the front end of the sole is a transverse axis within a running side running side provided recess for articulated connection to a ski binding provided, wherein the articulation is such that the shoe heel are raised freely can.
- the outsole On the shaft side, the outsole is provided with longitudinal and transverse ribs, the corresponding Restricting recesses, so that with minimal material expenditure maximum stability, in particular torsional stability is obtained.
- the aforementioned L Lucass arrangementnuten are not only within the tread, but also formed within the outsole itself. As a result, the bending elasticity, especially in the metatarsophalangeal region of Outsole significantly affected.
- EP 0 787 440 B1 is known proposed to produce the outsole of a sports shoe of two parts, wherein the rear stiff formed and the front part is made of a soft material.
- this embodiment has the disadvantage that the sole is not continuous one and the same material can be produced, for example by injection molding. The effort for sole production is therefore disproportionately large, in the EP 0 787 440 B1 is still proposed in this regard, the front and rear part each with overlap to add together.
- the present invention is accordingly based on the object, an outsole of the type mentioned so to develop that with simple production a In the metatarsophalangeal region, the maximum flexurally elastic sole is obtained without by the chosen construction the sides - in particular torsion stability of the sole and the associated shaft is lost.
- the core of the present invention is therefore that at least the front section the outsole has no grooves or ribs, the flexibility at least in the area counteract the so-called metatarsophalangic zone, especially around the so-called metatarsophalangeal bending axis.
- the metatarsophalangische Bending axis strictly speaking not by a line, but by a strip-shaped zone is defined, which extends transversely to the sole longitudinal direction, namely to the sole longitudinal direction inclined from the front inside to the back outside.
- the aforementioned object of the invention is concretely obtained by the front Section of the outsole at least on the shank side, in particular both shank as well running side is substantially continuous smooth and unchanged in predetermined Total thickness at least in the area of the so-called.
- Metatarsophalangischen zone a has significantly reduced thickness, the maximum about 50%, in particular 30-35% of Total thickness of hard and soft material corresponds.
- the outsole is made of a plastic having a modulus of elasticity of between 200 MPa and 250 GPa, in particular between 350 MPa and 200 GPa, wherein the Modulus of elasticity determines the thickness in the front section such that at higher Elasticity the thickness percentage is greater than with less elasticity. That is, the stiffer the sole material formed, the thinner it must be at least in the metatarsophalangeal Area the bottom sole with correspondingly thicker training of the softer tread be designed.
- the outsole according to the invention should preferably run on at least one side Longitudinal guide groove and at least in the area of the metatarsophalangeal zone with one or be formed a plurality of transverse grooves, these grooves at least in the front section the outsole formed substantially only within the tread of softer material are.
- the front sole section which is made of a harder material, thus provides a thin-walled and both inside and outside substantially smooth shell. Due to the aforementioned shell configuration, the required rigidity, in particular Torsional stiffness of the outsole ensured.
- transverse grooves at least in the front Section are each formed back arcuate, increases at unchanged Flexibility the stability of the sole, in particular torsional stability.
- the tread is either welded or glued to the outsole on the running side.
- the thickness of Front portion of the outsole which is made of a harder material, starting from the metatarsophalangic bending zone steadily increasing at least in the direction of the rear train.
- the rear portion, in particular the heel of the outsole is preferably conventionally formed, i. on the shank with material and weight reducing Recesses provided.
- Figs. 1 and 2 is an outsole 10 for a cross-country ski boot each of the Bottom shown.
- This outsole consists of a rear, a heel 13th comprehensive section 11 and a front, slightly cup-shaped, i. flat cupped configured section 12, wherein the outsole 10 throughout of a relatively hard Material, especially plastic manufactured and running side both in the area of the front as well as in the area of the rear section with a tread 14 of relatively soft, is provided in particular rubbery material.
- This tread 14 defines together with the associated outsole portions 11 and 12 a predetermined total thickness or sole height "h", as in Fig. 3 in the region of a so-called. Metatarsophalangischen Bending zone "M" is shown.
- the front portion 12 of the outsole 10 is at least shank side - in the illustrated embodiment also on the side - essentially smooth throughout. Furthermore, the front portion 12 of the outsole 10th at unchanged predetermined total thickness "h" of hard and soft material at least in the area of the metatarsophalangeal zone "M” a considerably reduced thickness "d", the maximum about 50%, in particular - as shown here - 25-30% of the total thickness "h” made of hard and soft material.
- the outsole is made of a plastic with a modulus of elasticity as stated above. It can be produced in a simple manner by injection molding.
- the tread of soft Material is welded on the side of the harder material or glued on.
- the outsole On the running side, the outsole has two longitudinal guide grooves 15 and a plurality of transverse grooves 16, these grooves essentially only within the tread 14 of softer material are formed.
- the reason of at least the longitudinal grooves 15 in the region of the front sole portion is defined by the relatively hard material of the outsole.
- the Longitudinal and transverse grooves are designed so that their depth is approximately equal in size.
- transverse grooves 16 are both in the front Section 12 and in the rear portion 11 each arcuate back.
- a recess 17 which is open toward the running side is formed, within a transverse axis 18 for articulated connection to a not shown Ski binding is arranged.
- the recess 17 is laterally by two webs 19 of hard Sole material limited. Alternatively, the limitation may also be due to the tread 14 respectively. In the latter case, it is expedient in the lateral boundary of the Recess 17 with the transverse axis 18 connected anchoring elements made of metal to integrate.
- Fig. 3 can still be found that at unchanged predetermined total thickness "h” is the thickness "d" of the front portion 12 of the harder material sole starting from the metatarsophalangeal zone "M” both towards the rear as also steadily increasing towards the front. This will be a metaphalangic bending zone "M” defined by the sizing of hard and soft material.
- the heel 13 may be formed in a conventional manner, in particular as in Fig. 3 shown. That is, the paragraph has shank side material and weight reducing Recesses 20 on.
