Definitions
- the invention relates to a safety device for a snowboard according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Safety devices in the form of safety straps are known, which are fastened to the snowboard and tied around the leg which has been put forward and strapped to the foot in the front snowboard binding. It may be the right or the left, but always the forward leg, the foot remains in secure connection with the snowboard during use, while the other leg or foot, for example, must be free during ski-lift. If the snowboarder wants Taking a break, the safety belt, when unbuckling the foot from the front snowboard binding, ensures that the snowboard does not unintentionally set in motion and drive the snowboarder out of harm's way.
- the seat belt After unbolting the snowboard binding, the seat belt is also unbuckled and the snowboard is parked somewhere, thus ending the safety function of the belt, unless the snowboard is tied to the belt around a pillar, a fence, a tree or the like. If such a possibility is lacking, there is still the danger that the snowboard may set in motion, for example due to external influences, thereby jeopardizing others.
- a safety device with a mounted on the upper snowboard surface stop element is known, which is from a release position in which it is located above the snowboard surface and neither bothers nor a risk of damage when snowboarding, in a stop position adjustable, in which it exerts a braking effect.
- the lever-shaped stop element has two mutually substantially rectangular parts, one of which is provided with an external thread and with this in an internal thread of a snowboard fixed bearing body is guided in a helical adjustable.
- the Adjustment takes place under the action of a spring during weight reduction of the snowboard binding, wherein the other part of the stop element from a position substantially parallel to the upper snowboard surface over a side edge of the snowboard out into an outside of the upper snowboard surface and in this down in one with the snowboard surface an angle enclosing stop position is brought, in which it is held by the force of the spring.
- the stop element is pivoted about 275 °. Even if it is a thread with a large pitch, the longitudinal adjustment over the side edge is limited in size and the bearing body or the entire safety device must be located near the side edge of the snowboard. Thus, the safety device can only be used up to a certain snowboard width. A two-sided arrangement of two stop elements is not possible.
- the stop element In the stop position, the stop element is held by the force of the spring. In the release position back the stop element is brought overcoming the spring force by hand and locked there by means of a Verriegelunsvorraum, whereby its safety function is terminated.
- a Verriegelunsvorraum When parking the snowboard with the locked security element still threatens the danger that the snowboard, for example, by foreign influence set in motion while endangering others. If the snowboard binding is loaded again, there is a release of the stop element, but it is still held with the foot in the release position until again a weight relief when loosening the foot of the snowboard binding and the spring is released.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a safety device of the type mentioned, which can be used independently of the snowboard width and meets an improved safety function.
- the bearing body does not need to be located directly at the side edge and the safety device can be easily used even with wider snowboarding.
- the stop member is not only held by the spring force in the stop position, but also blocked over the cam in a third portion of the guide, so that the other part is additionally secured against unintentional pivoting back.
- the readjusting of the stop element in the release position is only possible if an at least partially arranged above the snowboard binding actuator adjusted by weight and actuates the cooperating with the guide part, such that it is moved back with its cam in the guide against the force of the spring ,
- two stop elements which can be actuated by a common actuating element and are adjusted outwards into the stop position via both lateral edges of the snowboard are provided, the actuating element being operatively connected via an adjusting lever to the two parts of the stop elements cooperating with a respective slot-like guide groove.
- FIG. 1 shows a part of a snowboard 1, on the upper surface 1a of which a front snowboard binding 2 and a rear snowboard binding 3 are attached. It may be any known and commercially available snowboard bindings that are not described in detail here.
- the front snowboard binding 2 is provided for buckling the right and the rear snowboard binding 3 for buckling the left foot.
- a safety device 10 is mounted on the upper snowboard surface 1a.
- a base plate 11 of the safety device 10 is bolted to the snowboard surface 1a, which is not apparent from the drawing.
- a bearing part 12 is mounted in its the front snowboard binding 2 facing area in which a trained as a bow-shaped lever actuator 13 is pivotally mounted with its parallel to the base plate 11 extending portion 13 a.
- a first 13a substantially at right angles arranged first lever portion 13b extends to above the front snowboard binding 2.
- a position of the actuating element 13 is shown, which is achieved when fastening the foot in the front snowboard binding 2, and in the of the weight-loaded first lever part 13b is provided approximately parallel to the snowboard surface 1a and to the base plate 11.
- a skewed to the first lever part 13b extending second lever part 13c of the actuating element 13 is arranged to the other side of the bearing part 12 and outside the front snowboard binding 2.
- a Bowden cable 15 is fixed, which is guided by a between two base plate fixed supports 16, 17 extending protective tube 18 made of plastic and attached to an adjusting lever 19.
- the second lever part 13c is a screw 14b associated with a nut 14a, wherein the nut 14a is used for clamping the Bowdenzugendes and for adjusting the Bowdenzugudi.
- the pivotable about a vertical axis 19a, two-armed lever 19 is operatively connected at its two ends, each with a stop element 20, 21.
- the lever-shaped stop elements 20, 21 each have two mutually substantially rectangular parts 20a, 20b and 21a, 21b of which the one part 20a, 21a respectively parallel to the snowboard surface 1a and the base plate 11 and arranged in a base plate fixed bearing body 25th or 26 is pivotally mounted.
- this part 20a or 21a is arranged displaceably in its longitudinal direction relative to the bearing body 25 or 26.
- one tube piece 30 shown in FIG. 8 is pivotally arranged with a radial pin 31 (FIGS. 1 and 8) or 32 (FIG. 1).
- the pin 31 and 32 is respectively connected to one end of the adjusting lever 19.
- a pivoting of the adjusting lever 19 about the axis 19a has a longitudinal displacement of the stop elements parts 20a, 21a result.
- a cam member 37 and 38 is mounted with a radially directed cam 35 and 36, which engages in a backdrop-like, from Fig. 7 and 8 apparent guide groove 40 of the respective bearing body 25 and 26 respectively.
- the cam 35 and 36 is in a respect to the longitudinal center plane of the snowboard inner portion of the guide groove 40 as indicated in Fig. 7.
- the two Stoppelemnte 20, 21 are in a release position in which the snowboard 1 can be driven unhindered.

Description
