Definitions
- the invention relates to a Spitzkopfnadel, the Needle group of knitting needles and in particular for the Sewing technique, especially suitable for technical textiles is.
- Conventional knitting needles are usually with one like that provided ball tip, i. the top is with one more or less large radius spherically arched.
- the top radius depends on the use of the needles.
- the ball point should be the piercing of threads and thus the damage avoiding the backing.
- Known Sewing needle 1 has a tip side so mentioned grains 2, which is cone-shaped. Its lateral surface is through a straight line or with an outward convex surface formed. The conical tip of the Sewing needle 1 pushes the filaments of the gel to be pierced apart, without damaging carrier fabric or knitted fabric or to affect the strength of the cover layer itself.
- the sewing needle 1 otherwise has a needle body 7 with at least in ⁇ hr Scheme round cross section and an eye 8 passing transversely through the needle body 7. At this may be followed by a short thread trough 9.
- the knitting needle according to the invention has an elongated Needle body with a recess for receiving a thread, at one end a mounting portion and at the opposite lying end formed as a grain tip area on.
- the needle body tapers to the tip area point out by flicking its two flat sides in one Angle towards each other. It is possible that the pointed Angle over the entire trained wedge-shaped area has a constant value.
- the tip or the Tip area is thus cone-shaped as a so-called Körnerspitze pyramid-shaped. Your opening angle is preferably greater than the above acute angle. He can be constant or vary over the length of the grain tip.
- the Körnerspitze has no appreciable and production-related intended rounding radius. Rather, she is punctiform in the context of manufacturing accuracy.
- Tip of the needle body to arrange so that one to the Longitudinal extension of the needle body parallel through the tip going line the unilaterally open hook-like recess in the Cut substantially at half depth. This will be the Taphole center in an escape with the thread to be pulled through placed. This is especially true when the hook-shaped recess in a region of the needle body whose width (Distance between the needle body flat sides) at the tip side End of the recess is considerably less than in Shaft area.
- the shaft area is where the Flat sides of the needle body arranged parallel to each other are.
- the center point preferably corresponds in size to size a ball tip, a conventional knitting needle, wherein However, they do not have a production-oriented intent on the tip side Radius has. If there is a top rounding, whose radius R is preferably less than one tenth of the Height or width of the knitting needle in the area of the foot of the center of the grain.
- a knitting needle 10 is illustrated, the a stitchbonding machine or a multiaxial warp knitting machine belongs.
- the knitting needle 10 is similar to others trained knitting needles on a common needle bar attached, with the knitting needles at the same time in their reciprocating the arrow 11 longitudinal direction to be moved. They serve to a backing 12 by means to attach a thread 13.
- the backing is for example a scrim made of carbon fibers, synthetic fibers, natural fibers, Mineral fibers oder.ein Wirrfaservlies, a tissue, or a Knitted fabric. In particular, it may be technical textiles act, i. a textile product that is not for clothing is used.
- the threads 14, 15 serve as upright and Weft threads during the thread 13 as sewing thread or warp thread serves, determines the standing and weft threads sewn or meshed.
- the threads 13, 14 each pass through an eye 16, 17 corresponding guide needles 18, 19, each with similar Guide needles or hole needles 18, 19 on a perforated needle bar can be arranged.
- Another thread carrier or Weft feeder 21 serves to the transverse to the knitting needles 10 oriented threads 15 in the work area of the same to accomplish.
- the device of Figure 1 is known per se Operated way, whereby the thread 13 of each knitting needle 10 creates a bond that wraps around the threads 14, 15 and stops at the backing 12. Below the backing 12 are the Mesh 22 of each bond.
- the peculiarity of the device of Figure 1 consists in the formation of the knitting needle 10 and in particular in the Design of its upper with the thread 13 and the backing 12th cooperating end.
- the knitting needle is 10 in Figure 2 and 3 separately fragmentary illustrated.
- the knitting needle 10 has a needle body 23, which, as Figure 1 illustrates, an elongated shaft Has. This is with a holding device 24 for attachment on a bar 25 which is only schematically illustrated Mistake.
- a needle head 26 is formed, in the figures 2 and 3 sections separately illustrated is.
- the needle head 26 is like the shaft 23 through two flat sides 27, 28 bounded in the area of the shaft 23 are oriented parallel to each other and in the region of the needle head 26 are at an acute angle of e.g. 10 ° lock in.
- the flat sides 27, 28 are both in the area of the shaft 23 as well as in the region of the needle head 26 respectively designed as flat surfaces. They run on a peak 29 to, which is designed as a center point.
- the top 29 points a nearly point-shaped end 31 and a transition or foot 32, which forms a transition point 33.
- the one to the end 31 subsequent, belonging to the flat sides 27, 28 side sections 34, 35 close at the transition point 33 with a bend or a kink.
- the side sections 34, 35 enclose with each other an acute angle, the larger is than that of the other flat sides 27, 28 enclosed acute angle. Thus, as seen from the end 31 changes acute angle between the flat sides 27, 28 at the Transition point 33 its value.
- width B is one third to one quarter of the width B1 in the range of one Recess 36 of the knitting needle 10.
- the width B1 is here again about half the width B2, which is the distance the flat sides 27, 28 from each other in the area of Shaft 23 marks.
- the tip 29 is further explained in FIGS. 4 to 8:
- Figure 4 illustrates a Part of the top 29 in dramatic magnification (more than ten times compared to Figure 3).
- the side sections 34, 35 cut each other at the top.
- An existing at the end 31 Rounding radius R is less than one tenth of the width B at the foot 32 of the top 29.
- Figure 4 is the top 29 in geometrically idealized form
- illustrated Figure 5 shows the shape of the front end 31 of the tip 29 at e-lektronenmikroskopischer Enlargement.
- the side sections 34, 35 have a certain roughness, in consequence derer the tip 29 at the end 31 a in the context of the processing roughness lying deviation from the ideal point shape receives. This deviation is shown in FIG. 4 as radius R illustrated.
- the tip 29, which is designed as a cone tip points a circular cross section illustrated in FIG on.
- the cross section may also be a polygonal cross section be formed with rounded corners. For example is it square or rectangular.
- D To its end 31 towards the cross section of the tip 29 changes according to Figure 8 (Section VII-VII) to a square cross-section or according to Figure 7 (also section VII-VII) to a circular cross-section.
- the above-mentioned recess 36 is a hook recess educated. From its needle top surface 37, the in the region of the shaft 23 parallel to a Nadelschstruct Structure 38 is arranged and parallel to the needle longitudinal direction extend, runs in the region of the needle head 26th a side view preferably rectilinear inlet surface 39 in the recess 36 and goes there with a rounding 41 in a nose 42 over.
- the inlet surface 39 is as shown in the figures 2 and 3, to the flat sides 27, 28 out with a rounding 44, 45 provided. In the area of the nose 42 joins the round 41 a short essentially straight surface piece 43 at.
- the recess 36 cuts approximately at medium height, i. below a location at the provided on the nose 42 facets 46, 47 adjoin the surface piece 43.
- the knitting needle 10 described so far works as follows:
- the abrasive Material such as carbon fibers
- the summit 29 pushes the fibers aside.
- the knitting needle 10 stings so far through the Backing 12 to the shaft through the open stitch hole penetrates and the needle head 26 a loop of the thread thirteenth attacks. This is then in a return stroke through the Backing and already sitting on the shaft 23 noose 48 pulled. From the thread loop thus drawn by the backing becomes the next loop 48 on the shaft when the knitting needle 10 again pierces through the backing 12.
- Wirknadel 10 also be designed as a needle and with a slider provided and / or interact with such can. The slider is then used for targeted or controlled opening and closing of the hook.
- An effect needle 10 is provided with a tip 29, the as a center point without recognizable rounding at its pointed end 31 is formed.
- the tip 29 is preferably about arranged halfway up the hook-shaped recess 36, which is set up to catch the thread 13.
- the special one Shaping the tip 29 and its arrangement minimizes the Wear of the knitting needle 10 as well as damage to the thread 13th
