Abstract

L'invention concerne un matériau composite contenant du papier ou du carton en tant que matériau support (1), et présentant un revêtement plastique, notamment destiné à des emballages thermoscellables étanches à la lumière, aux gaz et aux liquides. Ledit revêtement plastique présente respectivement des couches de scellage extérieures (3), une couche barrière (2) en métal étant présente entre la couche de matériau support (1) et une des couches de scellage (3). L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication dudit matériau composite. L'invention vise à protéger la couche de matériau support (1) du matériau composite de manière qu'un emballage réalisé à partir dudit matériau composite, contenant un produit, puisse être stérilisé dans un autoclave ou similaire, ledit matériau composite pouvant être fabriqué de façon simple et économique. A cet effet, une couche barrière ultérieure (2) est disposée sur l'autre côté de la couche de matériau support (1).
