Abstract

Description
本发明涉及一种带有塑料涂层的由纸或纸板作为载体材料构成的复合材料,其特别用于光密、气密和液密的可热封的包装,其中所述塑料涂层在每种情况下具有外侧密封层,并且在载体材料层与密封层之间存在有由金属构成的阻隔层。
用于生产包装,特别是饮料包装的可热封的复合材料,已知有各种实施方式。在此用作载体材料的一般是纸或纸板;由不同层组成的层合结构导致对于每种情况下的使用目的所需的密封性并因此导致每种情况下装填的产品的耐久性。在此,外侧密封层由合适的热塑性聚合物组成。
大量的待装填产品,例如牛奶或汁液,如果它们还充分加以防光、防芳香物和防氧,则只有在无菌的条件下才保持其质量。为此,优选使用由涂覆有聚乙烯的纸板构成的复合结构,其中将铝箔构成的层作为在内侧(基于后来的包装)的气体和芳香物阻隔物与密封层一起层合到载体材料纸板上。
这样的包装在实践中已经成功地实现用于容纳易变质的物品,如特别是H-牛奶和鲜果汁。在此,经分包装的产品在无菌装填前就已经通过合适的步骤加以消毒。
但是,按照现有技术存在的复合结构只具有由透水或透水蒸气的材料构成的保护纸板的阻隔层。这种层一般布置在产品一侧并保护载体材料免受产品的湿度的影响。位于载体材料外侧的聚合物层只用于可密封性、可印刷性并用作防止受到“正常的”环境影响的保护。
因此,这样的包装—类似如罐头—不可以首先装填并随后通过在压热器中加热而将产品消毒。通过纸板复合结构的较小保护的一侧,压热器的水(在位于内侧的阻隔层的情况下)或装填物品的水(在位于外侧的阻隔层的情况下)在压热器处理工艺期间渗透入纸板中并由此损害了复合结构或包装的强度/刚性。
为将此问题最小化,必须使用厚且昂贵的聚合物层、油漆层和清漆层,其保证某种程度上最低限度的水阻隔。必须使用相对厚且经过化学特殊处理的纸板,其相应地较贵。
尽管提高了成本,但是这样的纸板复合结构在压热器工艺中的抵抗能力受到强烈限制,特别是在允许的最高消毒温度方面。这导致消毒时间必须相对长,以保证足够的细菌杀死速率。但是,长的压热器循环时间降低了压热器生产能力并提高了成本。此外,长的消毒时间导致许多待包装的产品/食品方面的较低的质量或味道上的损害。
已知复合材料在压热器处理工艺期间的较小的抵抗能力部分地导致水蒸气-气体-混合物在压热器处理工艺期间并特别在临近此工艺结束时,在浓缩聚集过程中移向“较干燥的”混合物。由此,因为较差的热量传递,达到另外的不希望的延长了压热器处理周期。
由此出发,本发明的任务是提供本文开头所述并在上文进一步描述的类型的复合材料,其中对载体材料层以一定方式加以保护,使得由此生产的包装可以与在其中含有的产品一起在压热器或类似物中消毒。此外,期望可以简单并低成本地生产此复合材料。
本发明的任务通过如下方式解决:在载体材料层的另一侧上设置另一个阻隔层。
在纸板的两侧施用的由金属构成的阻隔层明显更有效地保护了纸板并这样赋予其特别大的机械和热抵抗能力。因此,由本发明复合材料生产的包装还可以在较高的消毒温度下毫无问题地在压热器中消毒。
这还实现了压热器中的较高的消毒温度。由此得到消毒时间的缩短,味道的改善,和被包装产品的质量的提高。基于纸板的改进的保护,可以使用较薄并且较不特殊的纸板类型。
在纸板的两侧施用的由金属构成的阻隔层是“绝对的”阻挡层,并且此外还具有的优点是,在加工过程中,特别是在弯折和折叠过程中,并在运输等过程中,在一个阻隔层上或阻隔层中偶尔出现的孔洞或缺陷,由于位于其前面或后面的完好无损的第二个层而不会不利地影响被包装产品的耐久性。双层金属层还导致关于例如耐久性(使用寿命)方面的产品质量的可靠性提高。
按照本发明的另一个教导,在载体材料层与阻隔层之间在每种情况下设置有至少一个连接层。这样的也称作粘附促进剂层的层导致载体材料与阻隔层之间更好的接触。
本发明的另一个实施方案是规定,在阻隔层与外侧密封层之间在每种情况下设置至少一个另外的连接层。通过此措施还改善了阻隔层与各外侧密封层之间的粘附作用。
在本发明的另一个实施方案中,氧阻挡层由Al箔构成。作为连接层可以使用聚合物基或粘合剂基的粘附促进剂。
按照本发明的另一个教导,密封层由热塑性聚合物组成,其中此热塑性聚合物可以是聚丙烯(PP)、聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)、聚乙烯(PE)、液晶聚合物(LCP=liquid crystalline polymers)、乙烯/乙烯醇(EVOH)或聚酰胺(PA)。但是,在本发明范围内还可以将热塑性聚合物作为上述聚合物的配混物的形式形成。
在本发明的另一个实施方案中,外侧密封层具有层厚为10-40g/m2。在此,基于后来的复合包装的外侧密封层优选具有层厚为10-20g/m2,并且基于后来的包装的内侧密封层具有层厚为20-35g/m2。
按照本发明的另外的优选改进,作为阻隔层设置有具有层厚为5-10μm,优选6-8μm的铝箔。
本发明的另一个形式是规定,连接层(粘附促进剂层)具有层厚为4-20g/m2,优选5-10g/m2。在此,当在载体材料层与阻隔层之间存在的连接层比在阻隔层与外侧密封层之间的连接层厚时,特别合适。
在本发明的另一个实施方案中,本发明的复合材料可以在唯一的工序中按共挤出方法生产。

图1显示作为载体材料的纸板层1,其为了保护该纸板在压热器处理工艺中免受水的表面侵蚀而用2个阻隔层2包围。作为阻隔层2,可以优选使用Al箔或由SiOx、LCP(=液晶聚合物)等组成的层。
向外,此复合结构设置有2个密封层3,其由热塑性聚合物组成,其中所述热塑性聚合物可以是聚丙烯(PP)、聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)、聚乙烯(PE)、液晶聚合物(LCP)、乙烯/乙烯醇(EVOH)或聚酰胺(PA)。密封层3可以实现复合结构的焊接并也可以由多个聚合物层或其配混物构成。

1.一种复合材料,其由纸或纸板作为载体材料构成并带有塑料涂层,特别用于光密、气密和液密的可热封的包装,其中所述塑料涂层在每种情况下具有外侧密封层,并在所述载体材料层与密封层之间存在有由金属构成的阻隔层,其特征在于,在载体材料层(1)的另一侧上设置有另一个阻隔层(2)。
2.根据权利要求1或2的复合材料,其特征在于,在载体材料层(1)与阻隔层(2)之间在每种情况下布置有至少一个连接层(4)。
3.根据权利要求2的复合材料,其特征在于,在阻隔层(2)与外侧密封层(3)之间在每种情况下布置有至少一个另外的连接层(4)。
