  • latter relates to a noise protection glazing with an areal undivided central disc, the extends over the entire surface of the glass composite.
  • a glass composite is known in which a center disk for the purpose optical design options is designed as lead glazing.
  • DE-A1 42 26 883 shows a glass composite with more than two with a spacer At a distance held glass panels as known.
  • DE 27 07 398 A shows a plate element between two glass panes, which, however is designed in one piece. Due to the large distance between the glass panes, this is between them inserted plate element by means of elastic supports to each of the glass panes supported, wherein the elastic supports on the edge regions of the plate element are provided, on the surfaces which are directed parallel to the glass panes.
  • EP 0 721 086 A relates to a window lamp formed by two glass panes with one: interposed light guide plate. Over at least one edge of the light guide plate is a cavity for receiving a light source is provided.
  • the invention has the object, a glass composite of the type described above to create with technically easy to realize optical design possibility, wherein In particular, the design will almost no limits are set.
  • the glass composite is exposed to temperature fluctuations, e.g. when used as Window or door element, is expedient the plate element edge on an elastic Supporting element supported on the glass composite.
  • the thickness of the plate member is lower according to its possible thermal expansions measured as the distance between adjacent glass panels of the glass composite, even with larger Temperature fluctuations to avoid interference phenomena.
  • a particularly decorative design of the glass composite is characterized in that the plate element is transparent, in particular colorless or colored, wherein advantageously the Plate element made of plastic, in particular as acrylic glass plate, is executed.
  • the plate element edge over an elastic Supporting element is supported on the spacer and in particular in a plurality of arrangement plate elements surrounds them in the closed state.
  • plate elements composite plate use, which then is supported at the edge via an elastic support member on the spacer.
  • the elastic support member is preferably formed of silicone and expediently as Silicone tube formed, wherein the elastic support member advantageous in a horizontal position deviating position of the glass bandage serving as a base Edge region of the plate member to the weight forces of the plate member differently receiving is designed as on other border areas surrounding the plate element.
  • This training is particular for the vertical arrangement of a glass composite expedient.
  • window and door elements of the glass composite is suitably characterized in that adjacent glass sheets at a distance of 6 to 12 mm, preferably 8 to 10 mm, are arranged.
  • the distance between adjacent glass panels is 10% to 20% larger than the thickness of a plate element.
  • edges of adjacent plate elements to secure the situation adjacent plate elements in one plane form fit into each other.
  • a technically particularly simple construction is characterized in that the Spacer and the elastic support element are designed as a unit.
  • a particularly attractive embodiment is characterized in that at the edge at least one plate element, a light source is attached, wherein advantageously the Light source is inserted in a recess of a plate member.
  • a particularly good introduction of the light in the plate member is given when the Light source is in direct contact with the plate member, wherein advantageously the Beam direction of the light source is aligned in the direction of the plane of a plate member.
  • the light source is preferably a light emitting diode and / or a laser diode.
  • FIG. 1 a Cross-section through a glass composite of the type according to the invention and Fig. 2 a Section of such a glass composite in oblique view represent.
  • Fig. 3 shows the Forming a glass composite formed from three glass panels analogous to FIG. 2.
  • a Plate element 3 such as an acrylic glass plate 3 of about 6 mm (or 7 mm or 8 mm) - or a plate element made of a different plastic.
  • the laser cut, colored transparent or colorless acrylic sheet 3 e.g., PMMA-polymethylmethacrylate
  • the laser cut, colored transparent or colorless acrylic sheet 3 can thereby in the glass composite as a designed colored window, door or Architectural element, - e.g. as a furniture element or as a privacy element - used be, whereby it by its material property (UV light filtering) a Sunscreen function can take over.
  • the acrylic sheet. 3 and the glass sheets 1 and 2 are between the acrylic sheet. 3 and the glass sheets 1 and 2 to a gap 5, which depends on the thickness D of the plate element 3 or the acrylic glass plate 3 and the maximum expected Thermal expansions is dimensioned, preferably of at least 1 - 2 mm (at a Thickness of acrylic glass from 8 mm, up to 2 mm each).
  • the glass composite is also one of the size due to the thermal expansion to choose the acrylic glass plate 3 corresponding space 6.
  • Acrylic glass is characterized in this glass composite, which is also known e.g. for the sake of Fire protection or thermal insulation also from several glass panes - see Fig. 3 - can exist, by low weight, the exact processing option complex designs and the strength in terms of transportation, vibration, etc. from.
  • a material for a plate element 3 is not only plastic, such as acrylic glass, in question, although this is especially proven, but it can also be wood, metal or it can also minerals, such as marble, semi-precious stones, etc. find use.
  • One Plate element 3 can also be provided with holes. It is the creative freedom no limits.
  • the Glass composite also without marginal elastic support elements 7 get along. This particular then, if for the glass composite no or almost no temperature fluctuations are expected.
  • the glass composite according to the invention can also be used as a noise protection element.
  • Fig. 4 is a glass composite with a Light source 9 equipped.
  • This light source is in a recess 10, at least one Inserted plate element 3, wherein the orientation of the light source 9 is selected so that the main beam direction of the light source in the direction of the plane of the plate element 3rd is directed.
  • Power supply wires 1 are maintaining the tightness of the Glass composite either by the spacer 4 or between the spacer and the glass panels 1, 2 led to the outside.
  • the light fed into a plate member 3 is reflected on the surfaces thereof and a scattering or an exit takes place only at the peripheral edge of a plate element 3, which can result in particularly attractive edge effects.
  • the nature of Surface procurement of the plate member 3 also allows a partial light emission and thus a light effect on a surface e.g. when this is roughened.
  • a Reflective varnish can be a total reflection of the light accomplish.
  • the light source 9 in the illustrated embodiment, a light emitting diode, directly to the plate element. 3 is set, so if possible without a gap, i. e. with direct contact and as possible Dust-free, so that scatters in the light feed are avoided as far as possible.
