Definitions
- the invention relates to a basin, in particular glass sink, which comprises a pool wall with a flange for attachment to a support device, in particular worktop, table top or the like.
- Basin usually has a flange-like device to be attached to a support device can.
- NL-C-1003111 describes a basin with the features of the preamble of claim 1. There are forms in which the flange is enlarged as a kind of table top.
- the invention has for its object to provide a pool in which the pelvic body may have a simple geometric shape and yet the attachment to a plate-like support device is possible.
- the pelvic body is designed bowl-like-flangeless and that a collar is provided which is glued firmly to the pelvic wall to form a support or support that extends beyond the periphery of the pelvic body and to the support device attach is.
- the collar contains one or more sufficiently rigid, flat strips of material and is glued on a top wall surface of the pelvic body.
- the collar contains one or more sufficiently viable angle profiles and is glued to an outside wall surface of the pelvic body.
- the material of the collar includes metals and metal alloys, which are inherently corrosion resistant or can be made corrosion resistant by coating.
- stainless steel comes as a material of the collar into consideration.
- plastic or glass can also be used. In the latter case, it may be appropriate to paint the underside of the collar in order to obtain a correct color connection to the support device.
- the adhesive for securing the collar to the pelvic body must have sufficient strength to withstand occurring loads.
- the adhesive should be sufficiently elastic to withstand temperature changes that lead to different thermal expansions of the bodies involved.
- a colorless transparent adhesive is preferred, which is either colorless or, in the case of colored glass, colored like this.
- a support device in particular a worktop or table top is provided.
- the smooth transition from table top to the pool is often desired.
- a gap is created between the pelvic body and the carrier device, in which an LED illumination device is arranged.
- the lighting device used is a sealing strip with individual LEDs, for which there are connection possibilities to a so-called LED connect system via solder pad.
- the light band is available with a low band height, namely ⁇ 5 mm, and with a width of 10 mm.
- the light band can be produced with suitable length, whereby multiple lengths of 56 mm or 140 mm can be assembled.
- the LED light band is attached to the support device and / or to the collar so that the upper edge of the pool is illuminated on at least part of its circumference. The coupling of the light is thus flat and from the outside of the pool.
- the light is distributed in the material of the pool, which may consist of clear, frosted or colored glass.
- the LED light band is available in red, yellow, green, blue and white, and light bands with these colors can be assembled. Furthermore, it is possible to control individual sections of the LED light strip separately from each other, for example, to radiate only light of a certain color for a given purpose.
- the LEDs can also be operated with alternating brightness and in particular intermittently.
- the LED lighting device is a Assigned light control device which controls the brightness and / or the color of the light emitted by the LED lighting device depending on control values or parameters.
- the control values or parameters may be provided by sensors relating to the temperature and / or the amount of water to be supplied to the basin. It is also possible to display advertisements for performed procedures, for example it is possible to indicate whether the pelvis has been disinfected.
- a light band is preferably used with LEDs that form light sections with different colors, each section is assigned a control value generator to control the associated portion of the light band. You can code so different fittings on the sink, but also water temperature, dispensed amounts of water or other means and the like.
- the control device has at least one actuation output for actuators in order to perform actuation functions, in particular on opening and closing organs, as a function of the or the control value transmitter.
- Such opening and closing members may relate to the valve at a water fitting, a soap dispenser and / or a disinfectant dispenser.
- a control value transmitter can be designed as a proximity switch, which can be triggered by an object, for example the hand, so that a control signal is output to the controller. In this way it is possible to operate fittings without contact and to display the type of operation in a coded manner. This display can be done before the corresponding valve is actuated.
- control value transmitter Several location areas can be defined to the control value transmitter, so that different control value signals are triggered, which can be evaluated by the control device in an adapted manner.
- a weak approach can mean cool water and a strong rimpedement hot water. This can be indicated in advance by the coded illumination.
- it is possible to differentiate a pure display phase from a combined display and control phase for example, by operating the illumination device in the second phase with increasing and decreasing luminous intensity. While in the pure display phase, no actuation of the fittings is made, this is done in the combined display and control phase, which is marked as with flashing light or increasing and decreasing light intensity.
- the control value transmitter is interrogated, and depending on where the hand is in the detection range of the control value transmitter, for example, becomes colder or given off hot water. If the hand is pulled away during the second, sensitive phase, the valve is locked.
- FIG. 1 From a pelvic body 1, only one edge region with a flat upper side 2, a curved outer side 3 and an equally curved inner side 4 is shown.
- the pelvic body 1 may for example form a spherical cap or Ellipsoidkalotte or be formed by another bowl-like flangeless simple geometric body.
- a simple geometric body is made of glass, it can be aesthetically very attractive, but with him the difficulty of mounting on a flat support device 10, which is shown here as a countertop or table top.
- one or more, tire-like formed, flat strips of material are provided as support collar 20.
- the collar 20 is glued to the formation of a flange edge on the pelvic wall.
- the collar 20 has a protruding collar edge 22, with which the pelvis is hung in the carrier device 10. Any gaps may be filled with a suitable sealing material, such as silicone, as shown at 26.
- metals or metal alloys are suitable, in particular stainless steel, which has a high rigidity and breaking strength even with low wall thickness. It is also possible to use lacquered, powder-coated, enamelled metal sheets, which are made corrosion-resistant.
- Fig. 2 shows a detail of the second embodiment of the basin.
- the planar, plate-like support device 10 has an upper-side recess 11, in which the edge 22 of the collar 20 is recessed, so that the surface of the collar 20 is substantially flush with the surface 12 of the Tägervorraum 10.
- Fig. 2 allows without aesthetic loss and thicker flat strips to use as a support collar 20, so that come as a material for the strip in addition to metal and metal alloys and plastics and glass into consideration.
- Plastics and enamelled collars have the advantage that they can be designed color-matched to the support device 10.
- the underside of the collar edge 22 may match the top 12 of the Support device coated to create a color transition.
- FIG. 3 shows the use of a profile strip curved like a hoop as support collar 30 for the pelvic body 1.
- the profiled strip has two legs 31 and 32, wherein the leg 31 is connected to the outside 3 of the pelvic body 1 via an adhesive layer 35.
- the basin is mounted with the collar 30 in the flat top recess 11 of the support device 10. If necessary. gaps can be sealed by sealing material 26.
- Fig. 3 has the advantage that the pelvic body 1 remains undisturbed for the plan view, i. the upper edge surface 2 is not covered.
- Fig. 4 shows an embodiment with the same advantage.
- the profile strip 30 is arranged hidden, so that the tops 2 and 12 of the pelvic body 1 and support device 10 directly adjacent to each other, which may be desirable for aesthetic reasons.
- the leg 32 of the profile strip 30 is attached to the underside 13 of the support device 10, for example screwed or stapled by brackets.
- the same materials come into consideration, as discussed in the flat strip 20: preference is given to metal, especially stainless steel, but it can also be used plastic and glass.
- the adhesive for the adhesive layer 25, 35 located between the collar 20, 30 and the pelvic wall must have sufficient strength to absorb the stresses that occur in the case of the embodiments of FIG. 1 and 2 occur as tensile stresses, which requires careful processing.
- the shear stresses, as they occur in the embodiments of FIGS. 3 and 4 are better absorbed by the adhesive 35.
- sufficient elasticity should be present to compensate for any thermal stress.
- transparent adhesive is preferred. This can also be adapted to the color of the pelvis or the plate-like support device.
- Suitable adhesives based on epoxy, silicone and acrylate are preferred as UV-light-curing adhesives, but it is also possible to use adhesives which cure when exposed to heat and / or other actinic radiation.
- actinic radiation in the visible and near-visible UV range, i. be used between 320 or 350 nm and 750 nm wavelength.
- Fig. 5 shows a modification of the embodiment of FIG. 1, namely, the gap 5 between the narrow side 14 of the support device 10 and the upper edge 3 of the basin 1 is kept sufficiently large to receive an LED light band 40.
- This light band 40 is glued with its back on the surface 14 of the support device 10.
- the light band 40 can surround the entire edge of the pool 3, but it is also possible to apply only a portion of the edge of the pool.
- the light band 40 includes numerous LEDs 41 which are connected to a controller 50 via a series of lines 42 ', 43', 44 '.
- the light band 40 can be subdivided into individual sections 42, 43, 44 (FIG. 7), which can be supplied separately by the control device 50 via the lines 42 ', 43', 44 '.
- Each section 42, 43, 44 may be subdivided into subsections; in Fig. 7, the portion 43 in subsections 43a, 43b and 43c structured.
- These sections or subsections may be designed for light of different colors, for example red, yellow, green, blue or white. Each of these colors may have a different function, so red may indicate a warning of very high water temperature for scalding purposes, blue may indicate cold or cool water, green or white may mean moderate temperature, and so on.
- Usage instructions or warnings can also be given by flashing light.
- control encoders in the form of sensors 52, 53, 54 or switches are provided.
- the control device 50 can also have outputs for actuators 55, 56, 57, which are provided, for example, for actuating valves to deliver water, soap, disinfectant and the like into the basin.
- the controller 50 may be implemented with a programmable chip having a programming input 58.
- Fig. 6 shows a modification to the embodiment of FIG. 5.
- the light band 40 is glued with its narrow side to the underside of the collar 20, wherein in addition, the back may be provided with an adhesive tape to on the side 14 of the support device 10 to be liable.
- the control device 50 (not shown) is connected in the same way as in Fig. 5 with sensors and switches as a control value transmitter.
- Fig. 7 shows the scheme of a pelvis for the operating area.
- Actuators 55, 56, 57 are provided as valve actuators for soap, water and disinfectants.
- the water, soap and sanitizer fittings are spaced apart and each of these fittings is associated with a light band section 42, 43, 44, the light band section 43 being divided into subsections or panels 43a, 43b and 43c.
- Below the outlets for soap is a sensor, for example 52, below the water outlet of the sensor 53 and below the disinfectant outlet of the sensor 54.
- the sensors or a part of the sensors can be located on the outside of the basin, as indicated in Fig. 5.
- the sensors are designed as proximity switches, that is, when an object is in a near range within the basin, such as the hand, a switching operation is triggered.
- the proximity area comprises a plurality of switching zones, ie that different control value signals are transmitted to the control circuit, depending on whether the hand has been guided closer or further to the edge of the pool or more to the right or left.
- the different distances of the hand from the edge of the pool or more right or left and thus different strong control value signals are different temperatures of the water to be dispensed assigned, and the different water temperatures are color-coded in different ways.
- red in field 43a means hot water and blue in field 43c cold water, while white in box 43b denotes tempered water.
- the soap dispenser can be encoded with green (box 42) and the sanitizer with yellow box (box 44).
- FIGS. 5 and 7 While in each case three light band sections, three sensors and three actuators have been shown with FIGS. 5 and 7, it should be understood that these numbers may be smaller or larger and also need not coincide. Thus, it is possible, for example, to provide additional sensors as switches, for example to switch on a timer, which measures the quantity of the agent to be dispensed (water, soap, disinfectant).
- the sink is also suitable for hotels, congress rooms and the like. In a Sparaus operation also the soap dispenser can be omitted.
- a translucent material is selected, with glass being preferred. This can be clear, frosted or colored.
- the material of the carrier device is also glass, but also ceramic or stone (marble). The innovative basin combines functionality with aesthetic appearance.
