  • Actuators for valves in sanitary installations are known from the prior art. These actuation devices include, in particular, actuation plates for toilets and / or urinals for triggering a flushing flow and fittings for setting a water temperature and a water flow.
  • Devices are also already known in the prior art which have a light source connected to a current source, this light source serving to illuminate the actuating device or the surroundings of the actuating device.
  • an actuating plate for sanitary installations which has light exit openings in the actuating plate and in which at least one illuminant is arranged on the back of the plate.
  • Either a power supply unit or a battery arranged on the back of the actuating plate serves as the power source for this illuminant.
  • a sanitary fitting in particular a single-lever mixer tap for a sink, with a body and an adjusting element is disclosed, wherein in the adjusting element light-emitting diodes are arranged, which are connected to a battery arranged in the sanitary fitting and for example as lighting and / or serve as a signal generator.
  • An actuating device for a valve of a sanitary fitting or a cistern drain valve is known, which is equipped with lamps in the form of several individual lamps, light-emitting diodes, LED chips or RGB LEDs. These lamps are controlled by means of a microprocess control or a microcontroller in such a way that the color and / or shape of a display or display area can be changed.
  • the EP 0 903 103 A describes emergency safety shower and washing facilities, for example for eye, hand, face and full body showers, which are used in particular in areas or companies in which corrosive or irritating chemicals are used. It is preferred that individual parts of the safety shower and washing device are luminescent, so that if the electrical supply fails, the safety shower and washing device can be used by a user without delay. It is also described that, in particular, the operating elements of the safety shower and washing device, such as, for example, a pull rod and / or a pressure plate for triggering the full body or eye shower, are luminescent.
  • a luminescent object which is designed, for example, as a bathroom fitting or as an operating element, for example as a switch.
  • This object has a phosphorescent substrate and at least one transparent cover layer, which directly or indirectly at least part of the outer surface of the substrate is arranged.
  • the substrate contains phosphorescent pigments that are bound in a carrier material. These pigments are, for example, alkaline earth aluminates doped with rare earth metals, such as, for example, SrAl 2 O 4 : Eu or Dy.
  • the US 2006/0 196 549 A1 discloses a trim kit for a shower, which has a substantially non-metallic cover or rosette for a shower fitting, in particular for a valve lever for adjusting the water volume flow and the water temperature.
  • the rosette and / or the valve lever can contain phosphorescent material and / or be coated with such material.
  • the door handles are known to glow in the dark.
  • the door handles including the associated fittings, are equipped with luminescent fluorescent colors or luminescent plastics.
  • the afterglow is achieved by adding luminescent pigments.
  • the luminous pigments can be excited as often as required by a UV-containing light source and continue to shine for several hours after the light source is switched off.
