From a manufacturing point of view, however, it is recommended that the fastening strips 5 consist of textile or textile-like material. In particular, it is recommended that the fastening strips 5 consist of the same material as the base fabric of the mop cover 4. In every respect, an execution of the fastening supply strips 5 made of textile or textile-like material have considerable advantages. This applies to the manufacture and washing of the mop cover 4.

  • fastening the fastening strips 5 to the mop cover 4 Many other possibilities are also possible for fastening the fastening strips 5 to the mop cover 4. For example, one could think of attaching the fastening strips 5 to the mop cover 4 by stapling or riveting. When using synthetic fiber material, one could also think of welding the materials of fastening strips 5 and mop cover 4. Overall, however, the sewing of the fastening strips 5 to the mop cover 4 has proven to be particularly expedient in practice, just as the insert pockets known from the prior art have been sewn at the edges.
