  • a support device which has a support plate with a wide head and back support area.
  • the support plate tapers in the direction of a foot region and has recesses in the foot region which serve for improved storage and support of a foot and leg region of a human person lying on the support plate.
  • CH 684388 A5 discloses a core musculature exerciser comprising a bench and replaceable anatomically shaped pads. Depending on whether the back, abdominal or trunk muscles are to be trained, the pads are replaced accordingly.
  • support devices are generally known in the form of couches or the like. Such support devices can be padded or unpadded designed. People can sit on such support devices. If a human lying on his back on such a support device takes place, so both his back and his head area is supported. The back area extends from the coccyx to the neck area.
  • the back support portion is designed so wide that a secure position of the human is achievable.
  • the back support portion at least from the hip region to the shoulder region, has a width that corresponds at least to the width of the corresponding regions of the human being, in order to enable a safe lying of the human.
  • such support devices are designed orthopedic and / or cling to the natural attitude of man.
  • a person's posture is often poor in orthopedic terms.
  • bad postures in the workplace or in other areas can lead to shortening of the chest muscles, which in turn can lead to a bent back position, in particular to a hunchback.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a support device of the type mentioned, which offers opportunities with simple means, in particular by gymnastic exercises to counteract such Housemuskulaturverkürzache.
  • a partial region of the back support portion at the level of shoulder blade regions of the back region, a support surface in a backbone region and on both sides of the support surface has open areas which are designed such that the shoulder blade areas are movable past the support surface down.
  • a person lying on his back on the support device can easily stretch his chest muscles by stripping his arms laterally outward and leaving them in their laterally outwardly staked position to their own weight or actively down the arms and shoulders ie, pushes towards the back of the back support section. Since on shoulder blade height through the support surface only a central, preferably narrow and at least partially support in the spinal region is present, and the shoulder blade areas at least largely free backward, ie on the support surface over to the back, can be moved, it is possible to the pectoral muscles too stretch.
  • the person lies on the support device in a position which is aligned in an angular range of 45 ° to 90 ° to the vertical.
  • the support device In the support device according to the invention an at least approximately horizontal orientation of the back and head support portion is given in the support position.
  • the support device thus fulfills a dual function by a relaxation posture is achieved by creating the reclining position and in addition by simple lateral stretching and then lowering at least the upper arms at about a right angle to the chest already an expansion of the chest muscles is achieved.
  • the open areas present on both sides of the central support surface can be open laterally outwards in the entire lying surface formed by the back support section and the head support section. Alternatively, these can also be closed in the lateral outer edge regions, if the transverse extent of the open regions is designed so large that at right angles the upper arms can at least still penetrate the elbow regions through the open regions downwards.
  • the open areas are also designed to be open laterally outward in order to allow the desired mobility of the shoulders and arms even with a smaller total width of the lying surface.
  • the back support portion from the coccyx or hip area, starting at just below the shoulder blade areas at least designed so broad that it corresponds to the width of a human thorax to allow at least to just below the shoulder areas a secure support of the back of the human.
  • the headrest portion is preferably designed so that it ensures a secure headrest.
  • the solution according to the invention can be used in different fields.
