Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Cigarettenpackung aus Karton oder Kunststoff, mit einem prismatischen Grundkörper (5) und einer Kappe (6) zum Öffnen und Verschliessen der Packung (1) für die Entnahme von Rauchartikeln, insbesondere von Cigaretten, die von einem Innenteil (2) als Cigarettenblock dampfdicht und aromadicht umhüllt sind. Dabei ist das Innenteil (2) ein Zuschnitt aus steifem, dampfdichtem und aromadichtem Material, das den Cigarettenblock bis auf eine Entnahmeöffnung (3) allseitig umschliesst. Ferner ist die Entnahmeöffnung (3) durch eine wiederversiegelbare Klebelasche (4) verschliessbar, die ebenfalls dampfdicht und aromadicht ist.

Description

Cigarettenpackung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Cigarettenpackung aus Karton oder Kunststoff, mit einem prismatischen Grundkörper und einer Kappe zum Öffnen und Verschließen der Packung für die Entnahme von Rauchartikeln, insbesondere von Cigaretten, die von einem Innenteil als Cigarettenblock umhüllt sind.
Eine derartige Cigarettenpackung ist beispielsweise aus der US-A- 6,164,444 bekannt. Sie offenbart eine im Querschnitt rechteckige Kappenfaltschachtel, die eine aus Barrierematerial bestehende Cigarettenumhüllung als Innenwicklung enthält. Diese kompakte und gesiegelte Innenwicklung besitzt eine Entnahmeöffnung für die Cigaretten, die durch ein separates Etikett verschlossen wird. Das Barrierematerial ist weich und benötigt zum Versiegeln der Nähte einen stützenden Innenrahmen, der gleichzeitig die innenliegenden Cigaretten vor mechanischer Beschädigung und vor thermischer Beanspruchung beim Siegelvorgang schützt. Ferner liefert der Innenrahmen eine Unterstützung im Kappenbereich für ein Wiederverschließen des Etiketts nach einer Cigaretten- entnahme, die bei dieser vorbekannten Cigarettenpackung dadurch erreicht wird, dass das Innenteil oder der Kragen im Bereich der oberen Enden seiner Seitenwände Lappen aufweist, die Unter- stutzungsflächen bilden und damit den Druck beim Wiederverschließen der Klebelasche aufnehmen. Alternativ schlägt diese Druckschrift vor, das Innenteil mit einem U-förmigen Kragen zu versehen, der bei betriebsbereit gefaltetem Innenteil die Entnahmeöffnung U-förmig umgibt und aufgrund seiner Befestigung mit der Vorderwand des Innenteils eine Unterstützungsfläche für die Klebelasche des Barrierematerials bildet.
Diese bekannte Cigarettenpackung hat aber einige Nachteile. So sind bei der. hermetischen Cigarettenumhüllung drei separate Materialien beteiligt, die im Verpackungsprozess einzeln geführt und positionsgenau platziert werden müssen. Vorteilhaft wäre hier ein einstückiges Material, das den gleichen Zweck erfüllt, aber einfach und zuverlässiger zu verarbeiten ist.
Ein weiterer Nachteil der US-A-6,164,444 besteht darin, daß ein aus Kartonmaterial bestehender Innenrahmen in direktem Kontakt mit den umhüllten Cigaretten steht. Denn es ist bekannt, daß Tabakprodukte und insbesondere Cigaretten bei direktem Kontakt Fremdgerüche aus Kartonagen aufnehmen können, die dann beim Rauchen zu einer Veränderung des Rauchgeschraacks führen. Aus diesem Grund wird es vielfach versucht, den direkten Kontakt der Cigaretten mit dem Karton durch Einbringen einer weiteren Schicht zu vermeiden. Derartige zusätzliche Aromabarriereschichten sind beispielsweise kaschierte Aluminiumfolie, metallisiertes Papier oder ähnliche Materialien.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Cigarettenpackung zu schaffen, bei der der Cigarettenblock vor dem Gebrauch dampfdicht oder aromadicht eingeschlossen ist und diese Dampf- und Aromasperre auch nach der Entnahme von Cigaretten wiederhergestellt werden kann, wobei die Packung auf möglichst einfache Weise herstellbar sein soll .
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe dient die Cigarettenpackung der eingangs genannten Art mit den kennzeichnenden Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1.
Das erfindungsgemäße Innenteil lässt sich als ebener Zuschnitt aus dampfdichtem und aromadichtem Material stanzen, beispiels- weise aus Karton, der auf wenigstens einer Seite mit einem
"Barrierematerial wie Kunststoff oder Metall beschichtet ist, oder aus einer anderen geeigneten Folie.

Figur 1 zeigt im rechten Teil eine achteckige Packung 1 als Cigarettenpackung in Form einer Kappenfaltschachtel mit einem Grundkörper 5 und einer daran über eine Faltlinie angelenkten schwenkbaren Kappe 6. In den Grundkörper 5 ist ein Innenteil 2 eingesetzt, das in der dargestellten Ausführungsform eine andere Querschnittsform als der Grundkörper 5 hat, nämlich rechteckig ist. Es wird jedoch darauf hingewiesen, dass der Querschnitt des Innenteils 2 auch achteckig sein kann, wie dies Figur 4 zeigt, wobei dort die Packung l im Querschnitt rechteckig sein soll . Selbstverständlich können aber auch Packung 1 und Innenteil 2 die gleiche Querschnittsform haben, also beide rechteckig, beide achteckig oder beide oval sein. Ferner können- bei rechteckigen Querschnitten die Ecken abgerundet sein, oder es können die Seitenwände überhaupt halbrund ausgebildet werden, wie es bei der in der PCT/EP98/04131 offenbarten Cigarettenpackung der Fall ist.
Das Innenteil 2 weist eine Entnahmeoffnung 3 zum Entnehmen von Cigaretten auf, wenn die Kappe 6 in der in Figur 1 gezeigten Weise nach hinten geklappt und eine Klebelasche 4 in der ebenfalls dargestellten Weise vom Innenteil 2 abgelöst ist. Man erkennt in Figur 2, dass die Klebelasche 4 an einer Rückwand 12 des Innenteils 2 hängt und mit einem Siegelungs- oder Kleberand 44 aus Klebstoff auf den Kragenabschnitten 19, 19' des Innenteils 2 haften kann, um das Innenteil 2 wie eine BarriereSchicht dampfdicht und aromadicht zu verschließen.
Figur 2 zeigt das Innenteil 2 allein in abgewickelter Darstellung als Zuschnitt eines Barrierematerials . Als Material für den Zuschnitt kommen metallisierter oder mit Kunststoff beschichteter Karton, Kunststofffolie o.a. in Frage. In einer ersten Aus- führungsform ist das Innenteil 2 aus einem Kartonzuschnitt aus Barrierematerial gestanzt oder geschnitten, in einer anderen Ausführungsform aus Kunststofffolie hergestellt, so dass es im gefalteten Zustand einen als Dampf- oder Aromasperre wirkenden Behälter mit einer Vorderwand 10, einer Rückwand 12, mit Seitenwänden 14 und 14" und einem Boden 16 bildet.
Der Zuschnitt für das Innenteil 2 weist in Figur 2 von rechts nach links folgende Teile auf, die in gerader Folge miteinander verbunden und nur durch Falzlinien getrennt sind: Die Vorderwand
10, einen Boden 16, die Rückwand 12 und die Klebelasche 4. An die Vorderwand 10 schließen oben und unten und damit an beiden Seiten
Vorderwand-Seitenlappen 11, 11', an den Boden 16 schließen zu beiden Seiten Boden-Seitenlappen 15, 15' und an die Rückwand 12 schließen wieder oben und unten und damit an beiden Seiten Rückwand-Seitenlappen 13, 13' an. Bei gefaltetem Zuschnitt werden die Rückwand-Seitenlappen 13, 13 ' von den Vorderwand-Seitenlappen
11, 11 ' überdeckt und sind mit diesen verklebt oder versiegelt und bilden dadurch die in Figur 1 erkennbaren Seitenwände 14, 14'. Dabei sind außerdem die Boden-Seitenlappen 15, 15' mit den Rückwand-Seitenlappen 13, 13' verklebt oder versiegelt und stabilisieren dadurch Boden 16 und Rückwand 12 des Innenteils 2. ''Die Seitenlappen 11, 11', 13, 13' und 15, 15 ' ■ sind durch die Falzlinien 20, 20' von der Vorderwand 10, der Rückwand 12 und dem Boden 16 getrennt.
Die Vorderwand 10 des Innenteils 2 weist ferner an ihrem rechten Rand von Figur 2 , der bei gemäß Figur 1 gefaltetem Innenteil 2 ein oberer Rand 18 ist, einen U-förmigen Ausschnitt 21 auf, der sich vom oberen Rand 18 parallel zu den Seitenwänden 14, 14' nach unten erstreckt und in einem Abstand von 0 , 5 bis 3 cm endet . Auf diese Weise ist eine Entnahmeöffnung 3 für das Entnehmen von Cigaretten gebildet. Außerdem schließt im Bereich neben dem Ausschnitt'21 an die Vorderwand 10 je ein Vorderwand- ragenlappen 23, 23" an, der jeweils in gefaltetem Zustand gemäß Figur 1 unter einem Kragenabschnitt 19, 19' zu liegen kommt und mit diesem verklebt oder versiegelt wird. Zu diesem Zweck sind die Kragenabschnitte 19, 19' neben den Vorderwand-Kragenlappen 23, 23' angeordnet," jedoch nicht mit diesen verbunden, sondern hängen an den Vorderwand-Seitenlappen 11, 11', mit denen sie über eine Falzlinie am oberen Rand 18 des Innenteils 2 verbunden sind.
Die in Figur 1 nicht dargestellten Cigaretten werden somit teilweise von den Kragenabschnitten 19, 19' gehalten, die sich über die gesamte Breite der Seitenwände 14 , 14 ' und über einen Teil der Vorderwand 10 erstrecken und an den Rändern der Entnahmeöffnung 3 enden.
Figur 2 zeigt ferner die in Verbindung mit Figur 1 bereits erwähnte Klebelasche 4 aus dampfdichtem und aromadichtem Material. Sie hat etwa eine Form, die der Form der Entnahmeöffnung 3 in der Vorderwand 10 entspricht, jedoch um die Breite eines Klebe- oder Siegelungsrandes 44 größer als die Breite der Entnahmeöffnung 3 ist. In einer Ausführungsform wird der Klebeoder Siegelungsrand 44 dadurch gebildet, dass eine Schutzfolie
43 auf die Klebelasche 4 aufgeklebt ist, die nur einen so breiten Kleberand freilässt, wie dies der Breite der Kragenabschnitte 19, 19» des Innenteils 2 entspricht. In einer anderen Ausführungsform hat der Klebe- oder Siegelungsrand 44 die Form eines Streifens •von überall etwa gleicher Breite. Dabei bildet der Klebe- oder Siegelungsrand 44 eine offene, etwa U-förmige Kurve, wie dies der Zeichnung ohne weiteres zu entnehmen ist. Eine Falzlinie 42 verläuft quer über die Klebelasche 4 und damit auch quer über die Schutzfolie 43 und setzt sich über den Klebe- oder Siegelungsrand
44 fort, so daß bei über die Entnahmeöffnung 3 gefalteter und an der Vorderwand 10 und auf den Kragenabschnitten 19, 19' haftender Klebelasche 4 die Falzlinie 42 mit dem oberen Rand 18 des Innenteils 2 fluchtet.
In der dargestellten Ausführungsform reichen die Kragenabschnitte 19, 19' von den Seitenwänden 14, 14' bis zum Rand der Entnahmeöffnung 3. Außerdem verläuft ihr freier Rand 119 parallel zu den Seitenwänden 14, 14 ' . Es wird jedoch darauf hingewiesen, dass der freie Rand 119 der Kragenabschnitte 19, 19' aber auch einen anderen Verlauf als geradlinig haben kann, also beispielsweise konkav oder konvex oder ähnlich geformt sein könnte.
In einer weiteren Ausführungsform besteht die Klebelasche aus einem Stück und aus dem gleichen Material wie der restliche
Zuschnitt des Innenteils 2 , wobei im Konterdruck entsprechender Klebstoff auf den Klebe- oder Siegelungsrand 44 aufgebracht ist. '
Schließlich zeigen die Figuren 3 bis 6 noch, dass in eine rechteckige, achteckige oder ovale Packung 1 ein rechteckiges, achteckiges oder ovales Innenteil 2 eingesetzt sein kann.
Im einzelnen zeigt Figur 3 eine rechteckige Packung 1 ' in die ein rechteckiges Innenteil 2 eingesetzt ist.
Figur 3a zeigt eine rechteckige Packung 1', in die ein acht- eckiges Innenteil 2' eingesetzt ist.
Figur 3b zeigt eine rechteckige Packung 1 ' , in die ein ebenfalls rechteckiges Innenteil 2" eingesetzt ist, das jedoch abgerundete
Kanten 20 hat. Die abgerundeten Kanten erstrecken sich über die gesamte Höhe des Innenteils 2", also vom Boden 16 bis zum oberen
•'Rand 18.
Figur 3c zeigt wiederum eine rechteckige Packung 1 ' , in die ein ovales Innenteil 2 ' ' ' eingesetzt is . Die Figuren 4 bis 4c, 5 bis 5c und 6 bis 6c zeigen ähnliche Darstellungen, wobei wiederum gleiche Teile mit -gleichen Bezugszeichen versehen sind.
Wie man ohne weiteres erkennt, ist bei den nachfolgenden Ausführungsformen nach den Figuren 4, 5 und 6 jeweils die Querschnittform der Packung 1 gleich, während die Querschnitts- form des eingesetzten Innenteils 2 abgewandelt ist.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Cigarettenpackung aus Karton oder Kunststoff, mit einem prismatischen Grundkörper (5) und einer Kappe (6) zum Öffnen und Verschließen der Packung (1) für die Entnahme von Rauchartikeln, insbesondere von Cigaretten, die vo einem Innenteil (2) als Cigarettenblock dampfdicht und aromadicht umhüllt sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Innenteil (2) ein Zuschnitt aus steifem, dampfdichtem und aromadichtem Material ist, das den Cigarettenblock bis auf eine Entnahmeöffnung (3) allseitig umschließt, und dass die Entnahmeöffnung (3) durch eine wiederversiegelbare Klebelasche (4) verschlossen werden kann, die ebenfalls dampfdicht und/oder aromadicht ist .
2. cigarettenpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Innenteil (2) eine Vorderwand (10) , eine Rückwand (12) , zwei an die Vorderwand (10) seitlich anschließende
Vorderwand-Seitenlappen (11, 11'), zwei an die Rückwand (12) seitlich anschließende Rückwand-Seitenlappen (13, 13") sowie zwei an den Boden (16) seitlich anschließende Boden-Seitenlappen (15, 15 ' ) und eine an der Rückwand (12) hängende Klebelasche (4) aufweist; dass sich ein Ausschnitt (21) von einem oberen Rand (18) der Vorderwand (10) in diese hinein erstreckt, um eine Entnahmeöffnung (3) zu bilden; dass an der Vorderwand (10) neben dem Ausschnitt (21) je ein Vorderwand-Kragenlappen (23, 23') hängt; und dass neben den Vorderwand-Kragenlappen (23, 23') jeweils ein Kragenabschnitt (19, 19') angeordnet ist, der jeweils an dem zugehörigen Vorderwand-Seitenlappen (11, 11') hängt.
3. Cigarettenpackung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf die Klebelasche (4) ein umlaufender Kleberand als Siegelungsrand (44) aufgebracht ist.
4. Cigarettenpackung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf die Klebelasche (4) eine Schutzfolie (43) aufgebracht ist, die von der Klebeschicht nur einen Siegelungs- rand (44) freilässt.
5. Cigarettenpackung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Siegelungsrand (44) einen als Kurve offenen Klebestreifen bildet.
6. Cigarettenpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die Kragenabschnitte (19, 19') bei gefaltetem Innenteil (2) parallel zur Rückwand (12) , parallel zu den Seitenwänden (14, 14') und auch parallel zu einem Teil der Vorderwand (10) erstrecken.
7. Cigarettenpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zwei Kragenabschnitte (19') mit den beiden Vorderwand-Kragenlappen (23, 23') verbunden sind.
8. Cigarettenpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Packung (1) im Querschnitt achteckig und das Innenteil (2) im Querschnitt rechteckig ist.
9. Cigarettenpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Packung (1) und das Innenteil (2) im Querschnitt rechteckig sind.
10. Cigarettenpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Packung (1) und das Innenteil (2) im Querschnitt achteckig sind.
11. Cigarettenpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Packung (l1) im Querschnitt rechteckig und das Innenteil (2 ' ) im Querschnitt achteckig ist.
