Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for producing double labels, in which two are not the same large labels, which are releasably applied to each carrier with adhesive surfaces are brought together and glued together.
  • the invention further relates to a Device for producing double labels, with at least two feeding devices for feeding at least one label on a support and at least one a dispensing device for detaching the labels from the carriers and for bringing them together and sticking the labels together.
  • the invention also relates to a double label, produced by the aforementioned method and preferably by means of the aforementioned Device consisting of two labels of different sizes, each one Adhesive surface, one label with a free part of its adhesive surface over the other Label protrudes.
  • DE-OS 2 063 483 also discloses a device for producing self-adhesive Double labels, with an unwinder and a winder for the carrier tape of the Bottom labels and a further unwinding and a further winding device for the carrier tape of the top labels.
  • the device also has two deflection edges, wherein the first deflection edge for detaching the top labels from the carrier tape and the second Deflection edge for detaching the finished double labels from the carrier tape is provided.
  • the two deflection edges lie one behind the other in the feed direction of the carrier tapes arranged.
  • Double labels become known, which consist of an upper and a lower label, the top label with its adhesive layer on the top of the bottom label is glued on.
  • the top label can only be in the area of an edge strip with a Be adhesive layer provided.
  • the top label can also be made larger than the bottom label be so that it partially extends beyond this.
  • the outstanding, free part of the top label but has no adhesive layer, since in this embodiment the top label is only provided with an adhesive layer in the area of an edge strip.
  • the top label is here rather glued to the basic label with an easily detachable adhesive layer, so that if necessary, the top label can be easily removed, the free part of the removal of the top label relieved.
  • Double label known from the prior art therefore has the disadvantage that it is stable can be attached to the objects to be labeled, but that is not stable and there is a permanent connection between the upper and lower label.
  • the double label allows furthermore different optical effects, but it is for high-quality goods such as For example, jewelry and cosmetics are less suitable because they cover the entire adhesive surface of the sub-label sticks to the goods, which can be regarded as unsightly and impractical is.
  • DE 297 00 468 U1 also discloses a label in which a sticker on one flat support is glued on.
  • the sticker has a first field on which, for example the price of the goods to be labeled can be printed, and a larger one second field, both of which have a self-adhesive back. After peeling off of the sticker from a protective film, the first field along a boundary line between first and second fields folded and with its back on the back of the second Field glued. The sticker then comes with the remaining self-adhesive area the back of the second field glued to the carrier, with the printed first field remains visible through a window of the wearer.
  • This known label can only be done manually and be assembled completely in a relatively complicated way so that it doesn't come in an inexpensive and simple process can be produced.
  • the object is achieved by a method of the type mentioned at the beginning, in which both labels are detached from their carrier and facing each other Adhesive surfaces are glued together.
  • This creates a stable and practical permanent connection between the two labels.
  • the invention also has the advantage that conventional labels, each on a support are releasably applied, can be connected to form a stable double label.
  • the provision special pre-label or modification of existing labels is here not mandatory.
  • the Labels can be detached from the carrier by means of at least one dispenser, immediately glued together behind the dispenser and then onto one to be labeled Item or another carrier can be donated.
  • Such a process has the advantage that the two individual labels forming the double label are simultaneously can be detached from the supports and connected to the double label in one step.
  • the method according to the invention is therefore particularly quick and economical. That already Completed double label can then either directly on a label to be labeled Item or donated to another carrier. In the The latter alternative creates an independently marketable product, for example can be provided for price labeling using hand labeling devices.
  • the carrier Carrier tapes are, which are each pulled from an unwinding roll and to Peel off the labels over a dispensing edge.
  • a preferred Embodiment of the invention at least two carrier tapes and at least two Unwinding rollers are used, one of the unwinding reels with the carrier tape on the inside Labels and from the other unwinding roll the carrier tape with outside Labels are removed so that the carrier tapes run towards each other at the dispensing device and the labels are brought together with mutually facing adhesive surfaces.
  • the method according to the invention can therefore already be advantageously modified Perform existing machines or labeling equipment, with the desired result achieved by the orientation of the labels and the appropriate guidance of the carrier tapes can be.
  • Embodiment of the invention provided that the labels behind the dispenser be passed between two pressure rollers.
  • the inventive method creates an advantageous double label at the beginning mentioned type, in which two individual labels with mutually facing adhesive surfaces are glued.
  • the double label according to the invention is therefore practically in two areas structured, one area consisting of two labels stuck together, while the other area is a free, non-glued part of a label, the adhesive surface is available for further use.
  • the area that is glued from two Label exists is very stable and has no adhesive surface on its top, so that this area can be labeled or printed on the top.
  • the not glued Part is more flexible and is used for attachment to objects to be labeled or one other carrier.
  • the double label according to the invention is particularly suitable for labeling high-quality items such as jewelry or cosmetics, on which one with the entire surface of the label would be annoying and unattractive.
  • the shape of the label can be chosen so that only a small part of the total Double label is stuck on the object to be marked, while the double trained part of the label serves. In this way, high quality goods can be very be labeled beautifully and gently.
  • the one label has a larger adhesive area than the other label and on a portion of its Edge area with its free part protrudes over the other label, the rest Adhesive surface of one label is glued to the adhesive surface of the other label.
  • the free part of one label preferably has a smaller width than the glued one Area of the double label so that the glued area of the double label is practical in the form of a flag in relation to the free object and applied to the object to be labeled Part of the label emerges.
  • the free part of one label ultimately serves for attachment to objects to be labeled, but it can also be attached to an item first Carrier be releasably glued on, so that the labels can be used in this form, for example in a labeling machine.
  • the dispensing device has dispensing edges lying parallel to one another.
  • This special design of the dispensing device enables simultaneous, parallel Peel off the two labels so that they are brought together immediately behind the two dispensing edges and can be glued. Peeling off the individual labels and that The disposition edges can be put together to form the finished double label done practically in one step.
  • the feed devices are unwinding rollers and the carriers are carrier tapes. It serves one of the unwinding rollers for receiving one of the carrier tapes with the first inside Labels and the other unwinding roll for receiving the other carrier tape with external ones second labels.
  • the unwinding rolls are advantageously arranged in such a way that the first labels on the carrier tape of one dispensing edge and the second Labels on the other carrier tape of the other dispensing edge on opposite sides Pages are fed so that the labels on the dispensing edges with their adhesive surfaces are arranged facing each other.
  • a common take-up reel for winding up both carrier tapes from the take-up reels be provided. It is particularly advantageous and in a preferred embodiment provided that the take-up roll is arranged between the two take-off rolls is. This arrangement is a very compact design and thus a reduction of space required. This is particularly advantageous if the invention Device is designed as a hand labeling device.
  • the device according to the invention can namely both as a labeling device for the direct labeling of to be labeled Objects, as well as a machine for producing double labels, the applied to a carrier tape are provided for later use become.
  • a third unwinding roll is provided for receiving an empty carrier tape. On this empty carrier tape can then be donated to the finished double label, so that a independently marketable product is created.
