- Known printing machines in particular web printing machines, have at least a color box.
- the ink fountain comes with one required for printing Color, especially printing ink, filled.
- An ink roller assigned to each ink fountain is used to ensure ink partial immersion in the paint box on the surface with the respective color wetted. The color taken from the paint box in this way is passed on to other organs Passed printing press.
- ink fountains for printing presses very complex because the ink fountain has to be cleaned thoroughly beforehand.
- the Cleaning is further complicated by the fact that the colors are chemically aggressive and stick firmly to the inside surface of the ink fountain.
- the invention is based on the object Ink fountain for a printing press, preferably several such ink fountains having printing machine and a process to make it quick and easy Color changes are possible without time-consuming cleaning.
- a color box for solving this problem has the features of claim 1.
- the fact that in the outer container of the ink fountain at least one insert for Arranging color is a quick and easy cleaning of the Color box guaranteed. Ideally, there is no need to clean the ink fountain.
- the use of the ink fountain results in greatly reduced Changeover times of the printing press and a lower environmental impact because none Cleaning rags, cleaning agents or solvents etc. for cleaning the ink fountain must be used, which brings a cost saving.
- cleaning or a required color change is simply the use of the paint box removed and sent to the recycling cycle.
- Before refilling the ink fountain of the printing press is simply a new use in the outer Container of the color box inserted. Then use the color box with Fill color. The color can also be filled in during use, though this is inserted into the (outer) container of the ink fountain.
- the ink fountain is preferably designed such that it conforms to the contour of the Interior of the outer container is substantially adapted and more preferred Way the outer contour of the insert corresponds to the interior of the container. This ensures that the volume of the ink fountain through use the use is not significantly reduced. Furthermore, this is constructive Design ensures that the use of attachments related with the ink fountain is not affected by the use of the insert.
- the insert has one Floor, and side walls extending from the floor to form an interior, and an opening that is surrounded by upper edges of the side walls, preferably over the entire surface on, wherein the upper edges preferably a peripheral edge of the opening of the Form a stake.
- the side walls can be slightly conical in such a way that they are for slightly diverge at the top. This allows (empty) inserts to save space are stacked one inside the other.
- the circumferential edge of the insert has at least an outwardly projecting, preferably circumferential collar, preferably one Flanging on, whereby the edge of the outer container at least in sections covered, preferably encompassed.
- the collar or the flange serve for one of the mechanical stabilization of the insert so that the insert simply looks out the outer container can be removed. On the other hand, prevent Collar or crimp that color uncontrollably in the space between the insert and the outer container of the ink fountain. Through the preferably the full-area opening of the insert is finally the or the refilling of color by the user in the provided with the insert Ink box relieved.
- the insert is designed such that that the bottom of the insert is preferably all over the bottom of the outer Container rests, the collar or the flanging of the insert is not on the Rest the edge of the outer container. Due to this constructive design ensures that the use of the ink fountain is roughly on the floor supports the outer container of the ink fountain, so that the insert itself does not must have significant load-bearing properties. This is done by preferably made of stainless steel outer container of the ink fountain. Therefore, for the design of the insert selected a material with a relatively small wall thickness become. Furthermore, the user can clean the edge or the flange during cleaning of the insert easier to grasp and remove from the outer container.
- the outer container and / or the insert fasteners for attaching the insert in the outer container This will result in an unwanted lifting of the insert during the operation of the Avoided printing press.
- Another advantageous embodiment of the ink fountain is characterized in that use preferably in the area of the floor and / or the side walls Has reinforcing elements. With this configuration, the onset and the Continue removing the insert from the outer container of the ink fountain facilitated.
- this is made of one Plastic material formed with a low material thickness.
- plastic material is a high resistance of the ink fountain according to the invention chemically aggressive colors guaranteed in printing technology.
- preferred low material thickness of the ink fountain is also a good adaptability of the Use on the contour of the outer container of the ink fountain and a minimization the amount of waste to be disposed of.
- the use is preferably as a deep-drawn, tub-like molded body made of plastic material educated. This configuration makes it simple, quick and inexpensive Production of the ink fountain possible in large numbers.
- a printing press for solving the problem mentioned in the introduction has the Features of claim 9.
- the fact that the color box after at least one of claims 1 to 8 is fast and therefore cost-saving Cleaning of the printing press equipped with the ink fountain according to the invention, for example in the case of a color change, for maintenance work, but if necessary also guaranteed for refilling new paint.
- a method for solving the problem mentioned at the outset shows the measures of Claim 10 on.
- the color, in particular printing ink arranged together with an insert in the color box or initially the empty one Inserted in the paint box and then filled with paint, comes the Ink fountain itself not in contact with the paint.
- the color box remains in the Essentially clean so that the color can be changed with the insert.
- the Changing color can be for the purpose of changing color for another done, but also for refilling new paint, with a paint residue with the insert is to be replaced.
- the empty insert is preferably inserted into the ink fountain or inserted and then filled the respective color into the insert.
- the insert is used together with the previous color, especially a paint residue, from the color box removed. There will then be another use in the paint box inserted, either an empty insert or one already filled with paint Commitment. If an empty insert is placed in the ink fountain, this is done subsequently Fill the insert with paint.
- the printing press 10 is essentially composed of one feed unit 11, several of the same assembled printing units 12 and an output unit 13. Every printing unit 12 has one, not shown in FIG. 1 for the sake of clarity, Color box 14 on.
- Fig. 2 shows an example of a printing unit 12, in which an ink fountain 14 in the direction of arrow 15 can be inserted.
- the ink fountain 14 is among other things from an outer container 16 with a bottom 17 and from that Bottom 17 outgoing side walls 18 formed.
- the top edges 19 of the Side walls 18 form a peripheral edge 20 which has an opening 21 of the outer Container 16 limited.
