- Kalander zum Glätten einer Papier- oder Kartonbahn mit einem Nip, der zwischen einer beheizbaren Walze und einem umlaufenden Mantel gebildet ist, der unter der Wirkung eines Stützschuhs über einen vorbestimmten Umfangsbereich an die Walze angedrückt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein zusätzliches beheiztes Band (15) durch den Nip (11) geführt ist und eine Behandlungsstrecke zwischen dem Band (15) und der Walze (3) ausgebildet ist.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Band (15) als Metallband ausgebildet ist.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Band-Heizeinrichtung (16) vor dem Nip (11) angeordnet ist.
- Kalander nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Kühleinrichtung (23) vorgesehen ist, die auf den Mantel (5) wirkt.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kühleinrichtung (23) hinter dem Ausgang des Nips (11) angeordnet ist.
- Kalander nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Band (15) mit einem größeren Umlauf als der Mantel (5) geführt ist.
- Kalander nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Band (15) eine glattere Oberfläche als der Mantel (5) aufweist.
- Kalander nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Band (15) mindestens zwei Schichten aufweist, von denen eine dem Mantel (5) benachbarte Schicht wärmeisolierend und eine der Bahn (2) benachbarte Schicht wärmeleitend ausgebildet ist.
- Verfahren zum Glätten einer Papier- oder Kartonbahn, bei dem die Bahn durch einen Nip geführt wird, der zwischen einer beheizten Walze und einem umlaufenden Mantel gebildet ist, der mit Hilfe eines Stützelements gegen die Walze gedrückt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man ein beheiztes Band zwischen der Bahn und dem Mantel durch den Nip führt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man kurz vor dem Eintritt in den Nip Wärme auf das Band überträgt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 9 oder 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man den Mantel kühlt.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man das Band außerhalb des Nips vom Mantel trennt.
