Definitions

  • the invention relates to a channel according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a gutter is from the DE 44 03 454 C1 known.
  • the channel serves as a kind of small sewage treatment plant for the biological treatment of surface water.
  • the invention has for its object to improve a generic channel to the effect that this allows the most efficient treatment of surface water by means of uniform as possible, prevailing in the interior of the channel conditions.
  • the invention proposes, first, to allow water retention and, secondly, retention of the plants or of a guttered substrate.
  • the invention proposes transverse walls which divide the gutter as well as a section of the gutter into individual compartments, in which the registered substrate is held and not washed away, for example, in the context of heavy rains and ultimately rinsed out of the gutter.
  • These transverse walls can be watertight connected to the bottom and side walls of the section and designed to be impermeable to water and z.
  • B. be co-formed in inexpensive and production technology simple way in the production of the channel section.
  • it may also be settable or removable transverse walls, so that can be used as required transverse walls of different dimensions or different materials.
  • transverse walls are possible, which are porous and whose pore size holds the substrate in the individual compartments of the channel, but allows an exchange of water and / or microorganisms, such transverse walls may for example consist of a rot-proof geotextile.
  • Drain holes provide the desired security against unwanted water retention. However, these drain holes open so high above the gutter floor in the interior of the channel that water, which is in the interior of the gutter, can only run from exceeding a certain level height through the drain holes.
  • holes can be provided in the channel bottom and surrounded by the collar in a manner that is inexpensive and simple in terms of production, so that the water in the channel first has to reach a predetermined filling level in order to be able to reach and drain over these collars.
  • the actual drain hole is formed in this case at the top of the collar by the space enclosed by the collar.
  • the entire opening over the entire height of the collar is subsequently considered to be a drain opening surrounded by a collar, in particular for distinguishing lateral drainage holes.
  • drainage holes can be provided at a distance from the channel bottom, namely in the side walls of the channel.
  • a distance from the channel bottom namely in the side walls of the channel.
  • the channel serves as a water basin, which retains a certain amount of moisture, so that over a longer period of time a significant homogenization of the moisture content in the Interior of the channel is effected and, accordingly, the living conditions for plants and / or microorganisms are made uniform and therefore improved.
  • the water retention function of the gutter is particularly effective when it can be ruled out that the water leaves the interior uncontrollable in the joints that arise at the junctions of two adjacent sections of the gutter. Therefore, it can be provided that the sections of the channel water abut against each other.
  • these waterproof joints require in the manufacture of the sections and also in their laying a considerable precision and attention or additional effort by additional sealant.
  • stowage walls which connect watertight to the channel bottom and to the side walls of the channel, so that it is ensured even with a water-permeable joint itself that the water is stopped at these retaining walls and does not reach the joint .
  • Two stowage walls are advantageously provided, in each case near the two ends of the section, so that as far as possible over the entire length of the section the water retention function of the channel is effected and the concomitant effect of equalization is achieved.
  • the design of the channel can in particular made of plastic z. B. by injection molding, so that the sections can be inexpensively and easily equipped with the essential features of the invention.
  • the low weight of the plastic also facilitates handling when laying the gutter and ensures the desired waterproof properties of the gutter even with small wall thicknesses.
  • the transverse walls which retain the substrate or plants can also stiffen the gutter as constructive elements and therefore preferably be higher than the retaining walls serving to retain the water.
  • the transverse walls extend here but advantageous only over part of the height of the gutter. It therefore remains above the transverse walls a free space in the gutter. In heavy rains overshooting water, which can not be discharged through the drainage holes, can drain across the transverse walls along the channel.
  • filling the channel with substrate is advantageously provided to fill the substrate only to the height of these transverse walls, so that the remaining above the transverse walls free channel cross-section can be used as completely as possible for the discharge of such excess water. In this way it is also prevented that amounts of substrate, which were located above the transverse walls in the gutter, were swept away by the excess amounts of water.
  • a simple assembly of the individual sections to create the entire channel can be provided by locking or clip connections.
  • the sections of the channel are produced as plastic injection-molded parts, it is relatively easy to consider the corresponding locking or clip elements in the shape of the individual sections.
  • no separate connection components are required, but the individual sections can be latched directly together, whereby the number of components to be handled is reduced and the installation of the individual sections is considerably simplified.
  • the channel may have external stiffening ribs.
  • This allows a low-cost production with low wall thicknesses, in particular with the use of plastic, and the production as easily as possible, when laying accordingly easy to handle sections.
  • the stiffening ribs allow a toothing of the channel with the surrounding substrate, so that an advantageous fixation of the channel in the surrounding soil is made possible.
  • laterally outwardly projecting floor flanges can be provided. These cause a particularly stable support of the channel during their installation.
  • the channel can be provisionally fixed by means of ground anchors, before it is finally fixed by the surrounding floor, which can also be configured as a concrete foundation.
  • ground anchors or similar fastening means also makes it possible to maintain a precise course of the channel, z. B. with respect to any desired slope, and secures the individual sections from accidental contact, so that the groove can be optimally fixed in its intended course, until the surrounding soil has been applied.
  • soil or another suitable substrate up to this "marking line" or, for example, a concrete filling as foundation for a paving.
  • a chippings deposit of a few centimeters thick and, above that, a plaster of paving stones can be provided.
  • the reinforcing rib may be provided at the appropriate distance from the upper edge of the trough, so that later the upper edge of the paving is flush with the upper edge of the trough or flush with a cover to be placed on the trough. If, for example the gutter is not to be planted, a grid, a perforated plate or a similar water-permeable cover can be provided.
  • horizontally extending reinforcing rib is advantageously provided that this protrudes further outward and forms a lateral projection of the channel, which is overlapped by the subsequently applied grit or plaster, so that this reinforcing rib thirdly allows a veritable toothing effect through which the channel especially safe in the underground.
  • the drainage holes can have any desired contour.
  • a circular contour is assumed for the sake of simplification and purely by way of example, so that the term diameter is used as a representative for size dimensions.
  • the drainage holes have a diameter of at least 5 cm. In this way it is avoided as far as possible that the drainage holes are added by pebbles, larger impurities or by roots.
  • the diameter of the drainage holes may be 10 cm in size to ensure that these drainage holes can flow through even under poor conditions.
  • holders may be provided in the interior of the channel, which serve to receive an irrigation of the channel.
  • These brackets for example, hook-shaped or be designed in the form of a U-shaped channel or such channel sections, so that here porous or perforated pipes or hoses for irrigation of the channel interior can be introduced.
  • an irrigation of the gutter can be done, the water retention effect on the gutter floor requires a relatively rare irrigation and thus the care of Gutter designed as simple and inexpensive.
  • the sections may have a comparatively short length, for example of a few decimeters, such as 50 cm, so that, on the one hand, the sections are as easy as possible to handle when laying the channel and, on the other hand, the channel formed from such sections has a certain ability to hinge, which on the one hand Making and laying of the channel easier and on the other hand improves the adaptation of the channel to ground movements in an already existing for some time in the ground gutter, z. B. if set certain areas of the soil.
  • 1 denotes generally a portion which serves to form a groove in which surface water can be cleaned, drained and seeped, the portion 1 having a substantially U-shaped cross-section surrounding an internal space 2.
  • the section 1 has approximately the following dimensions: about 36 cm high, about 50 cm long, about 36 cm outside width and about 30 cm inside width as a light measure of the interior of the second
  • the interior 2 is divided by a transverse wall 3 into two areas.
  • This transverse wall is mitgeformt in the illustrated embodiment in the manufacture of the section, it is waterproof in its surface and also waterproof connects to the walls of the section 1, and it has a height of about 30 cm. It is envisaged to fill the channel up to the upper edge of these transverse walls 3, that is to say to a height of approximately 30 cm, with a substrate which on the one hand serves for the degradation or retention and collection of pollutants and / or which serve as soil for plants can, which are planted in the gutter.
  • transverse walls 3 When juxtaposing several sections 1 occur at regular intervals, the transverse walls 3 and ensure even with a slope of the channel sure that the substrate is not washed away by getting into the gutter, but always remains in its compartments, which by two adjacent transverse walls be formed. In order to provide large root spaces for plants, only one such transverse wall 3 per section 1 is provided, but, deviating from the illustrated embodiment, two or more transverse walls 3 may also be provided per section 1.
  • a plurality of drain holes 4 are provided through which the water has entered the channel in the Substrate can seep after it has come into contact with the substrate located in the gutter.
  • the drainage holes 4 have in the illustrated embodiment, a diameter of about 10 cm and are each surrounded by a collar 5, which has a height of about 4 cm in the illustrated embodiment.
  • each smaller retaining walls 6 are provided, in the illustrated embodiment also with a height of about 4 cm, so that located on the bottom of the sections 1 water can only pass through the drain holes 4, if there is a level has reached, which is higher than the collar 5 and the end-side retaining walls 6, that is higher than the said about 4 cm.
  • a Verrastungswagkeit having the sections 1.
  • a circumferential, approximately U-shaped projection 7 can be seen, which cooperates in the manner of a tongue and groove connection with a shown at the left end of the section 1, also U-shaped circumferential groove 8 ,
  • Additional locking elements which are provided at both ends of the section 1 and designed to correspond with each other, are designated together with 9 and ensure that two adjacent sections 1, the nut and spring-like means of their cooperating projection 7 and groove 8 connected to each other are locked together and thus are undetachably connected to each other under the loads occurring during normal operation.
  • both vertical and horizontal stiffening ribs 10 are visible. Notwithstanding the illustrated embodiment could be provided in the interior 2 stiffening ribs 10, but allow the externally arranged stiffening ribs an inexpensive, simple production of the section 1 of plastic in an injection mold and also a particularly simple filling of the interior 2 after the channel has been laid.
  • a horizontal reinforcing rib 10a is provided at a distance from the upper edge of the section 1, which laterally projects further outwardly than any other elements of the section 1 over it.
  • a paving above this horizontal reinforcing rib 10a can be provided, which is flush extends to the upper edge of the section 1 or even slightly higher, if - as in Fig. 2 - an upper cover is provided on the channel without above the horizontal stiffening rib 10a obstructive protrusions would be present, which collide with such a pavement.
  • the section 1 horizontal bottom flanges 11, on the one hand cause a secure state of the section 1 and the channel formed of several sections 1 and beyond by means of specially provided recesses 12 allow the attachment of ground anchors, with the help of the sections. 1 and thus the entire gutter can be fixed as long as no soil surrounding the gutter has been applied.
  • a metallic cover 14 is further provided on each section 1, wherein the covers 14 on the one hand Have openings for the inlet of the surface water in the channel and a slip resistance improving profiling.
  • a portion 1 can be seen, which forms the end of a channel.
  • one end of the section 1 is closed with an end piece 15, wherein two different types of end pieces 15 are provided, each having locking elements 9 and with the projections 7 and grooves 8 of the sections 1 and the detent elements 9 provided there cooperate can, so that the end pieces 15 can be mounted in the same manner to a section 1, as is known from the connection of two adjacent sections 1 with each other.
  • the end pieces 15 are designed double-walled: they have the interior 2 of the section 1 towards an inner wall which is about as high as a transverse wall 3, so that the substrate, which is provided within the channel, between this inner wall and the next adjacent transverse wall. 3 is held.
  • the inner wall of the end piece 15 forms at the same time with its upper edge an overflow for water, so that for example very large amounts of water that shoot above the transverse walls 3 along the channel and can not be discharged through the drain holes 4, pass over the overflow of the end piece 15.
  • the water comes down.
  • a nozzle 16 is provided, through which this overflow water can emerge from the channel.
  • nozzle 16 can connect pipes that dissipate this excess water, for example, lead into the sewer or preferably in an underground, water-permeable collecting container, so that the recorded in a demén collecting container excess water can be discharged over a longer period back to the ground, if this dries surrounding soil and absorb moisture from the sump.
  • the channel itself can be provided directly below the channel itself to provide such collection.
  • the amounts of water that are not absorbed within the gutter and, exiting from the drainage holes also can not be absorbed by the surrounding soil, first in such an elongated, located under the trough collecting and cached until the surrounding soil can absorb this water.
  • collection containers are, for example, grid structures that are provided with a water-permeable membrane, which avoids the penetration of soil particles into the sump.
  • the illustrated embodiment may be provided to provide 2 brackets for irrigation in the interior; and / or to change the dimensions of both the section 1 and / or the drainage holes 4; and / or the sections 1 do not produce as plastic injection molded parts, but for example from metallic or mineral building materials or with another manufacturing method, which may also be provided in particular to use plastics, especially inexpensive recyclates, the mechanical stability can be improved by embedded reinforcing materials can, for example, by introduced into the plastic fibers.
