Abstract

Gebindepackung für eine Gruppe von Zigrettenpackungen (10), die in zwei Reihen angeordnet und von einem Gebindezuschnitt (11) aus dünnem Karton umgeben sind. Der Gebindezuschnitt (11) ist so ausgebildet und gefaltet, dass eine Oberseite (12) frei ist und die dort positionierten Zigarettenpackungen (10) erkennen lässt. Die Packungseinheit ist von einer Aussenumhüllung (22) aus durchsichtiger bzw. klarsichtiger Folie mit einem Aufreissstreifen (23) umgeben.

Gebindepackung für Zigaretten
Beschreibung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Gebindepackung für Zigaretten - Zigarettenstange - für eine Gruppe von in Reihen angeordneten Zigarettenpackungen, die von einem Gebindezuschnitt aus (dünnem) Karton umgeben ist.
Gebindepackungen für Zigaretten, also sogenannte Zigarettenstangen, gehören zu den weltweit verbreiteten Verpackungseinheiten für Endverbraucher, aber auch für Einzelhändler. Üblicherweise besteht eine Gebindepackung aus zehn Zigarettenpackungen, die meistens in zwei Reihen zu je fünf Packungen formiert sind. Die beiden Reihen der Packungen liegen mit großen Flächen (Vorderseite und Rückseite) aneinander.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Gebindepackung für Zigaretten vorzuschlagen, die eine leichtere Handhabung gewährleistet - für die Entnahme der Zigarettenpackungen -, einen geringeren Materialverbrauch aufweist und darüber hinaus eine verbesserte Präsentation des Packungsinhalts gewährleistet.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Gebindepackung durch folgende Merkmale gekennzeichnet:
a) die Gruppe der Zigarettenpackungen ist an mindestens einer (großflächigen) Seite offen, also nicht oder überwiegend nicht durch den Gebindezuschnitt bedeckt,
b) die Zigarettenpackungen sind so angeordnet, dass eine (großflächige) Vorderseite derselben im Bereich der offenen Seite des Gebindezuschnitts positioniert ist,
c) die aus den Zigarettenpackungen und dem Gebindezuschnitt bestehende Einheit ist von einer Außenumhüllung aus durchsichtigem Material, nämlich von einer Zellglas- oder Kunststofffolie, (vollständig) umgeben. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Gebindepackung ist demnach der Gebindezuschnitt so ausgebildet, dass eine vorzugsweise großflächige (Vorder-)Wand vollständig oder nahezu vollständig fehlt, so dass in diesem Bereich die Zigarettenpackungen freiliegen. Diese sind so positioniert, dass in dem Bereich der offenen Packungsseite die Vorder- flächen der Zigarettenpackungen, also die besonders gestalteten Sichtflächen, freiliegen und demnach direkt sichtbar sind. Der Verbraucher kann so den Inhalt der Gebindepackung unmittelbar optisch erkennen. Gleichwohl ist die Einheit und Geschlossenheit der Gebindepackung durch die Außenumhüllung aus einer Folie gewährleistet.
Aus fertigungstechnischen, aber auch aus Gründen der Präsentation kann gemäß einem weiteren Merkmal der Erfindung der Gebindezuschnitt so ausgestaltet sein, dass ein Randstreifen vorzugsweise einseitig im Bereich der offenen (Vorder-)Seite der Gebindepackung vorgesehen ist. Dieser kann gestalterisch der Form bzw. der Gestaltung der Vorderseite der Zigarettenpackungen entsprechen.
Weitere Einzelheiten und Merkmale der erfindungsgemäßen Zigarettenstange werden nachfolgend anhand von in den Zeichnungen dargestellten Ausführungsbeispielen näher erläutert. Es zeigt:
Fig. 1 eine Gebindepackung für Zigaretten in perspektivischer Ansicht,
Fig. 2 einen ausgebreiteten Gebindezuschnitt für eine Gebindepackung gemäß Fig. 1,
Fig. 3 eine andere Ausführungsform einer Gebindepackung in einer Darstellung entsprechend Fig. 1 ,
Fig. 4 einen ausgebreiteten Gebindezuschnitt für eine Gebindepackung gemäß Fig. 3,
Fig. 5 ein drittes Ausführungsbeispiel einer Gebindepackung in perspektivischer Ansicht, Fig. 6 einen Gebindezuschnitt für eine Packung gemäß Fig. 5.
Die Zeichnungen betreffen Gebindepackungen für Zigaretten, also sogenannte Zigarettenstangen. Eine Gruppe von Zigarettenpackungen 10 ist von einem Gebindezuschnitt 11 umgeben. Der Gebindezuschnitt besteht aus einem festen, jedoch faltbaren Material, insbesondere aus (dünnem) Karton.
Der Gebindezuschnitt ist für das Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 1 so ausgebildet (Fig. 2) und gefaltet, dass eine großflächige Seite der Gebindepackung, nämlich eine Oberseite 12 frei bzw. offen ist. Der Packungsinhalt - die Gruppe der Zigarettenpackungen 10 - ist lediglich durch eine Bodenwand 13, zwei langgestreckte Seitenwände 14, 15 und durch zwei kleinflächige Stirnwände 16, 17 umgeben. Im Bereich der offenen Oberseite 12 sind die Zigarettenpackungen 10 frei bzw. unbedeckt.
Die Zigarettenpackungen 10 sind innerhalb der Gebindepackung bzw. des Gebindezuschnitts 11 in einer formierten Gruppe positioniert, und zwar in zwei Reihen, von denen in Fig. 1 die obere Reihe im Bereich der Oberseite 12 sichtbar ist. Die Zigarettenpackungen 10 liegen innerhalb der Reihe mit schmalen Seitenflächen aneinander. Eine Vorderseite 18 der Zigarettenpackungen der oberen Reihe ist der Oberseite 12 zuge- kehrt, also freiliegend und damit sichtbar.
Bei dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel ist die Vorderseite 18 der Zigarettenpackungen 10 besonders gestaltet, nämlich mit geschwungenen Schließkanten 19 und 20 eines Deckels und eines Schachtelteils. Die Schließkanten 19, 20 sind mit einem Abstand und parallel verlaufend angeordnet. Zwischen den Schließkanten 19, 20 ist ein Teilbereich eines innerhalb der Zigarettenpackung 10 angeordneten Kragens sichtbar. Darüber hinaus sind die Zigarettenpackungen mit abgerundeten, seitlichen Packungskanten ausgebildet, also mit Rundkanten 21. Diese Gestaltung der Zigarettenpackungen 10 ist aufgrund der Konstruktion der Gebindepackung bzw. des Gebindezuschnitts 11 frei von außen erkennbar.
Die aus den Zigarettenpackungen 10 und dem Gebindezuschnitt 11 bestehende Einheit ist von einer Außenumhüllung 22 umgeben. Diese besteht aus einer durchsichtigen bzw. klarsichtigen Folie (Zellglas oder Kunststoff). Die Außenumhüllung 22 umgibt die Gebindepackung vorzugsweise vollständig, also im Bereich aller Seiten. Einander überdeckende Faltlappen der Außenumhüllung 22 sind in bekannter Weise durch Kleben oder durch thermisches Siegeln miteinander verbunden.
Zum Öffnen der Gebindepackung ist die Außenumhüllung 22 mit einer Öffnungshilfe versehen, und zwar mit einem ringsherumlaufenden Aufreißstreifen 23. Dieser ist im vorliegenden Falle in der Längsmitte der langgestreckten, quaderförmigen Gebindepackung angeordnet, so dass beim Betätigen des ringsherumlaufenden Aufreißstreifens 23 - mit Hilfe eines freiliegenden Griffendes 31 - zwei (etwa) gleich große Teilbereiche der Außenumhüllung 22 entstehen, die in einfacher Weise von der Packung entfernt werden können. Der Aufreißstreifen 23 kann auch außermittig positioniert sein, beispielsweise derart, dass eine "Kappe" der Außenumhüllung 22 nach Beseitigen des Aufreißstreifens 23 entfernt werden kann.
Der Gebindezuschnitt 11 ist zur Bildung der Stirnwände 16, 17 mit Innenlappen 24, 25 versehen, die in Fortsetzung der Seitenwände 14, 15 angebracht sind. Im Bereich der Bodenwand 13 befindet sich ein (rechteckiger) Decklappen 26. Dieser bildet die Außenseite der Stirnwand 16, 17 und erstreckt sich (etwa) über die volle Fläche derselben.
Faltlinien 27 zur Abgrenzung der Bodenwand 13 von den Seitenwänden 14, 15 sind mit Stanzschnitten 28 versehen, die den Faltvorgang beim Umhüllen der Gruppe der Zigarettenpackungen 10 erleichtern.
Das Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 3/Fig. 4 unterscheidet sich von dem beschriebenen darin, dass die offene Seite der Gebindepackung, also die Oberseite 12, an einem Rand einen Randstreifen 29 aufweist. Dieser erstreckt sich im Bereich der offenen Oberseite 12 über die volle Länge derselben. Der Randstreifen 29 erleichtert die Umhüllung der Gruppe der Zigarettenpackungen 10 durch den Gebindezuschnitt 11 und ist darüber hinaus als Träger von dekorativen und/oder informativen Bedruckungen geeignet. Der Randstreifen 29 ist nicht mit den Stirnwänden 16, 17 verbunden. Der Randstreifen 29 wird durch die Außenumhüllung 22 in Anlage an den Zigarettenpackungen 10 bzw. deren Vorderseiten 18 gehalten. Nach Entfernen der Außenumhüllung 22 ist der Randstreifen 29 frei bewegbar.
Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 5/Fig. 6 ist ein besonders gestalteter Rand- streifen 29 vorgesehen, nämlich mit einer konturierten Randkante 30. Diese ist im vorliegenden Falle etwa wellenförmig ausgebildet und an das Design der Vorderseiten 18 der Zigarettenpackungen 10 angepasst, nämlich an die Gestalt der Schließkante 19, 20.
Die beschriebene Gebindepackung gewährleistet durch das Zusammenwirken des Ge- bindezuschnitts 1 mit der Außenumhüllung 22 eine stabile, geschlossene Großpackung für Zigarettenpackungen. Die Faltlappen der Stirnwände 16, 17 sind miteinander verbunden, insbesondere durch Klebung, so dass die Formhaitigkeit der einseitig offenen Gebindepackung gewährleistet ist.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Gebindepackung für Zigaretten - Zigarettenstange - für eine Gruppe von in Reihen angeordneten Zigarettenpackungen (10), die von einem Gebindezuschnitt (11) aus (dünnem) Karton umgeben ist, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:
a) die Gruppe der Zigarettenpackungen (10) ist an mindestens einer (großflächigen) Seite - Oberseite (12) - offen, also nicht oder überwiegend nicht durch den Gebindezuschnitt (11) bedeckt,
b) die Zigarettenpackungen (10) sind so angeordnet, dass eine (großflächige) Vorderseite (18) derselben im Bereich der offenen Oberseite (12) des
Gebindezuschnitts (11) positioniert ist,
c) die aus den Zigarettenpackungen (10) und dem Gebindezuschnitt (11) bestehende Einheit ist von einer Außenumhüllung (22) aus durchsichtigem Material, nämlich von einer Zellglas- oder Kunststofffolie, (vollständig) umgeben.
2. Gebindepackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Gebindezuschnitt eine (großflächige) Bodenwand (13), schmale, langgestreckte Seitenwände (14, 15) und Stirnwände (16, 17) aus durch Klebung miteinander verbundenen Faltlappen (24, 25, 26) bildet.
3. Gebindepackung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die die Gruppe der Zigarettenpackungen (10) einschließlich Gebindezuschnitt (11) vollständig umgebende Außenumhüllung (22) einen Aufreißstreifen (23) aufweist, der sich ringsherum quer zur Bodenwand (13) und zu den Seitenwänden (14, 15) erstreckt, vorzugsweise in der Längsmitte.
4. Gebindepackung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens eine Seitenwand (14, 15) einen (schmalen) Randstreifen (29) aufweist, der sich - ohne Verbindung mit den Stirnwänden (16, 17) - im Bereich der (im Übrigen freien) Oberseite (12) erstreckt.
5. Gebindepackung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Randstreifen (29) unter Anpassung an die Zigarettenpackungen (10) gestaltet ist, insbesondere mit einer konturierten Randkante (30).
