Definitions
- the invention relates to a heald according to claim 1 and a method for producing a heald according to Claim 13.
- Healds in weaving machines have the task of that run through the strands' middle eyes for specialist training raise and lower.
- at metallic healds will thread through either Piercing a double wire soldered together or by punching out a flat rolled round wire or a broadband.
- the by piercing or Die-cut opening or eyelet forms Thread eye through which the warp thread is passed.
- the Thread eye is one due to the continuous warp thread exposed to high mechanical stress. It must be as low-wear as possible and must Do not rub on the warp thread. To accomplish this Often an additional thread eye is required soldered the eyelet, which is also called Maillon.
- the demands for high mechanical Resilience is most likely to be met by healds that made of metal at least in the area of the thread eye are.
- round wire flashes made of two tinned, parallel steel wires in a continuous process in to solder a liquid tin or tin / lead bath together.
- the double wire thus produced is used to form the Thread eyes partially again along the solder joint split and widened into an eyelet into which if necessary, an additional thread eye is soldered.
- the process for producing such round wire healds is expensive and due to the use of lead and / or Tin bath ecologically questionable.
- the strands also point a relatively soft, non-abrasion resistant surface on. You must therefore copper and subsequently be nickel-plated to achieve the desired abrasion resistance preserve and prevent staining on the yarn.
- the invention is therefore based on the object To provide heald at the said Problems of the prior art can be avoided.
- the Heald should be particularly effortless and environmentally friendly be producible.
- the task is solved by a heald with the Features of claim 1.
- the task continues solved by a method for producing a heald having the features of claim 13.

It preferably consists of spring-hard inox material or cold-drawn spring steel. Its strength is 900 to 2500 N / mm 2 , preferably 1100 to 1500 N / mm 2 . This high tensile strength ensures the necessary stability and fatigue strength of the heald according to the invention. The strength is selected depending on the material so that the profile can be split and widened without tearing along the entire length of the strand. The elongation at break is chosen so that the molding of end loops is possible.
- the heald preferably has to be attached to the armor straight ends for hose attachment or molded End loops. This is achieved through appropriate material forming, End splitting or additional attachment of Thread eyes realized.
- the flared eyelet can be used directly as a thread eye.
- This points preferably an increased wear ability than that Blank itself and preferably also a corresponding one prepared surface, which is polished, for example, on.
- the manufacturing process will thereby compared to known methods in which the Thread eye is soldered, simplified.
- thread eye can also be glued, brazed, soft soldered, Foil soldering, laser welding, pressure welding, Ultrasonic welding or embossing fastened in the eyelet become.
- the split point i.e. the eyelet mechanical or chemical polished. This creates a thread-like surface of the sun formed thread eye realized.
- an additional one used thread eye preferably has one accordingly polished surface.
- the profile of the blank is preferably essentially dumbbell, double leg or figure eight shaped. This will make one easy cleavage realized.
