Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for storing and applying a flowable substance, for example of food, cosmetics.
  • DE-A-35 45 768 describes a sterilizable package of at least two inches foils sealed to one another in the edge regions.
  • the Bottom film formed as a deep-drawn cup, while the top film one of this removable cup cover.
  • the top film can be designed for easier handling with a pull tab. The opening this packaging is done by pulling the top and bottom films off.
  • a peelable sealed edge bag is described in WO-A-98/36989, which at least two packaging material web parts that are sealed to one another with a sealing edge includes one with a protruding outward from the edge of the seal Touch assistance are provided.
  • the packaging material web parts have different Bending strengths.
  • the grip of the firmer part of the packaging material is with a formed in the area of the sealing edge extending line of weakness. Due to the different flexural strength, it is possible to open the sealed edge pouch the firmer packaging material part of the grip along the weakening line can be broken off, creating a handle tab for further peeling along the sealing edge is exposed.
  • the packaging is also opened here by subtracting one part of the packaging material from the other.
  • a disadvantage of the packaging described is that by opening the Peelable packaging material parts of the sealed edge bag or the top and bottom film of the packaging creates an opening that does not controlled, reproducible discharge geometry.
  • EP-A-0 895 943 is a device for storing and dispensing a flowable substance known.
  • this device is between the Spreading area and the chamber a passage area. This is peelable sealed.
  • the substance containing the substance Chamber for example with the thumb and index finger of one hand, pressure exercised.
  • the peel offers resistance to this pressure as long as the Substance that has not yet penetrated the peel point. At the moment of opening this peeling abruptly decreases this resistance.
  • the involuntary Pressing the fingers leads to the substance due to the pressure is pressed through the spreading area at high speed. Should now larger quantities are applied from such a device, so the substance spilled due to the high application pressure.
  • a packaging is known from DE-C-26 49 316 which is used for targeted Administration of two single doses is suitable.
  • DE-A-41 07 350 describes a disposable container in which Applying pressure to release and tear open a closure section simple way an opening is formed through which the content flows out and in which the content is not suddenly solved by the open opening is pushed out.
  • a comparable container will also described in US-A-4,890,744 or US-A-3,635,376.
  • the primary object of the present invention is therefore a device for To provide the disadvantages of the packaging described do not occur.
  • such devices are to be made available at for those who want to target larger amounts of substance without further aids, can be applied easily and without spilling.
  • the object is achieved by a device according to one of the independent Expectations.
  • a device is provided between the chamber for Absorption of the substance is used, and the application area selectively has opening passage area.
  • the passage area is peelable sealed while the areas surrounding the chamber and spreading area surrounded, have a tight seal.
  • the upper and / or lower film forming the device are at least partially wave-shaped in the dispensing area, the wave troughs running in the direction of flow.
  • Such an arrangement leads to an increase in the surface area in the contact area between the substance and the film, which leads to a reduction in the flow rate when the device is opened and when the substance is applied due to increased friction, and enables the substance stored in the device to be applied more specifically.
  • the flow rate of the substance to be dispensed or the risk of it splashing can be further reduced by designing the dispensing area in a funnel shape at least in a partial area.
  • the openings of the funnel-shaped area are arranged depending on the viscosity of the substance to be stored and applied.
  • the contour of the device is preferably strongly tailored in the area of the passage area .
  • the waist is designed such that the device is in the area of the passage area has a width, preferably by a factor of 1.5 to 10 by a factor of 2 to 5 compared to the width of the adjacent areas is reduced.
  • Such a device is, for example, a film bag made of an upper and a bottom sheet. A firm seal at the edges makes one Chamber formed into which the substance can be introduced.
  • This chamber is connected to a spreading area via a passage area.
  • the Spreading area is connected to the environment, while the passage area is designed in such a way that it can be opened selectively.
  • Waiting of the passage area will be the user of the Device allows the application area against the chamber before opening to twist the longitudinal axis of the passage area. You can do this for example, the chamber with one hand and the application area nearby of the passage area can be gripped with the other hand and by up to Can be rotated 180 ° against each other.
  • the Passageway weakened with the peel point to be opened selectively that a slight pressure on the chamber peels off the upper and the bottom film of the device can be reached against each other. It is advantageous in such an open device that the Spreading area represents a defined, reproducible opening geometry.
  • the object is also achieved by a device which has flow barriers in the application area.
  • the substance is influenced by the flow barriers when it flows out through the application area in such a way that a slow exit from the application area at the mouth thereof is ensured. This also prevents the substance from splashing due to high pressure on the chamber when the passage area is suddenly opened.
  • the increase in the flow resistance and thus the impediment to the outflow of the substance can be achieved by extending the flow path around the barriers, if necessary by changing the direction, or by reducing the flow cross section through the staggered sealing points or sealing webs.
  • the flow barriers are preferably not formed by sealing the top and bottom films but by partially deep-drawing the top and / or bottom films in these areas. The fact that the foils are not sealed in these areas results in a larger flow cross section, which leads to a slowdown in the flow rate during the application.
  • an increase in the flow resistance can be achieved by a linear narrowing of the flow cross-section in the spreading area.
  • Such a device is particularly suitable when higher-viscosity substances are to be applied in a targeted manner, easily and without spillage, without additional aids.
  • the device can have a spreading area which is geometrically arranged in relation to the passage area such that the longitudinal axis of the spreading area does not run through the passage area.
  • the spreading area can have an enlarged volume, in particular in the part adjoining the passage area.
  • the application area is also advantageous to design the application area as a pocket .
  • the substance is conveyed into the dispensing area. There, the substance undergoes a change in direction of the outflow direction due to the arrangement of the longitudinal axis of the dispensing area, which does not intersect the passage area. Due to this change in direction, a slow exit from the spreading area at the mouth is ensured. If the dispensing area is designed as a pocket, the suddenly flowing substance is initially caught in this pocket. A slow and targeted application is then possible from this bag.
  • Another advantage of the devices described so far is that they do not have a separate pull tab .
  • the targeted and directed application of the substance is ensured in that no tear-open tab remains on the packaging or that the opening geometry is not deformed indefinitely due to the tab not being torn. This enables unhindered spreading.
  • the device according to the invention can also be opened without additional aids such as scissors.
  • the object is also achieved by a device of the aforementioned type with a chamber, a dispensing area and a passage area which selectively opens the chamber and connects to the dispensing area if the device has a thread which runs through the passage area.
  • a device of the aforementioned type with a chamber, a dispensing area and a passage area which selectively opens the chamber and connects to the dispensing area if the device has a thread which runs through the passage area.
  • one end of the thread is fastened in the peripheral area of the application area and the other end is accommodated in the application area.
  • the device can be opened on the unpaved, in the application area existing thread of the tab are pulled. Here, the thread or Also protrude from the spreading area.
  • the train will loop of thread running through the passage area pulled straight and the passage area selectively opened. Then you can the substance in the chamber by light pressure on the chamber are applied slowly and in a targeted manner.
  • An advantage of the devices described is that they are in the chamber contained flowable substance without great pressure over the application area targeted and directed and with a geometrically predetermined outlet opening to one desired position can be applied.
  • This embodiment has especially for opening devices with selectively opening Proven passage areas that contain larger amounts of substance from the device, preferably to be applied all at once. In these In many cases, it is necessary to provide a larger discharge opening.
  • the device has a plurality of selectively opening passage areas in the dispensing area, which are selectively opened one after the other when the device is opened, the pressure to be opened decreasing with increasing distance from the chamber.
  • the discharge area can be designed with any outflow geometry. This geometry is favorable to the requirements of the flowable substance customized. This enables a clean and targeted application of the in the Chamber contained substance.
  • the spreading area preferably has a crescent-shaped contour. On the one hand, this facilitates targeted application and reduces the flow rate through a curved flow channel. Furthermore, the device can be more easily closed again by bending the application area at the curve attachment.
  • the device can be bent over when stored Spreading area that only after opening the selective Passage area is opened. This way, too Splashing of the substance during application can be prevented.
  • the kink of the for example crescent-shaped contour is preferably in Dispensing zone.
  • the device according to the invention can also when applying liquid substances in also liquid media, such as milk or Sweetener in a cup filled with coffee or tea, a gentle pouring out the chamber can be guaranteed without the risk of splashing or Spillage exists.
  • liquid media such as milk or Sweetener
