- A hinge receiving device for attachment to a door leaf or casement or to a frame, comprising a receiving piece (3) which can be affixed to the door leaf or casement or to the frame in which tapped holes (18) are formed, a fixing portion (2) in which elongated holes (19) are formed through which double end studs can be brought into threaded engagement with the tapped holes (18) on the side of the receiving piece, and an adjusting eccentric (4) which penetrates with a circular or cylindrical section (8) free from play through the receiving piece (3) and with an eccentric section (9) through the eccentric hole (10) of the fixing portion (2), characterised in that the circular or cylindrical section (8) of the adjusting eccentric (4) abuts with its free face (11) facing away from the eccentric section (9) of the same against a bearing surface (5) on the frame or door leaf or casement side.
