Der Gewindestift 28 weist eine Länge auf, welche an die Abmessung der Ausnehmung an der Unterseite des Grundkörpers 14 angepasst ist. - A hinge for the pivotable mounting of a door or a window on a frame, comprising at least one respective first hinge part for installation on the upper end part and on the lower end part of the door or window, and at least one respective associated second hinge part which can be fastened or is fastened to the frame, wherein one of the hinge parts has a hinge pivot which engages in a bore in the other hinge part, wherein the hinge pivot and the bore accommodating it of the two hinge parts form the pivot axis of the door or window with respect to the frame, and wherein the hinge pivot or the bore accommodating it is disposed or formed in an installation part displaceable in the first hinge part and this installation part is guided so as to be steplessly adjustable on the first hinge part and is located in a self-locking manner in the desired position on the latter, and wherein the installation part (12) is inserted into a recess (13) of the first hinge part (4) formed on the housing side, wherein a base member (14) of the installation part (12) is retained so that it can be displaced but located in a self-locking manner in a guide (15), in that in an opening formed in the base member (14) there is inserted a retaining means (16) which has the hinge pivot (6) or the bore (7) accommodating it,

in that the retaining means (16) inserted into the base member (14) has a threaded bore (27) which is aligned transversely to the axis of rotation (8) and into which a rotatable but not axially displaceable threaded pin (28) is inserted,
in that a threaded bore (29), into which a threaded bolt (30) can be screwed, is formed coaxially or axially parallel to the axis of rotation (8) in the retaining means (16) inserted into the base member (14),
and in that the adjusting and locking screw (17), the threaded pin (28) and the threaded bolt (30), which effect adjustment and/or location, can be actuated in the installed condition at least of the first hinge part (4) via bores (34 and 35) which are each open to the exterior and which are accessible from the exterior. - A hinge according to Claim 1, characterised in that the base member (14) of the installation part (12) and the recess (13) of the first hinge part (4) have in order to accommodate the base member (14) different widths (B1,B2) which are stepped in relation to their longitudinal extension, wherein the adjusting and locking screw (17) engages into the narrower portion (21) of the base member (14).
- A hinge according to Claim 2, characterised in that the narrower portion (21) of the base member (14) is designed to be lower than the wider portion (22) thereof.
- A hinge according to any one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the base member (14) has a pin (32) which engages in slots (33) on the lateral boundaries of the first hinge part (4) and in the retaining means (16) so that the base member (14) is adjustable transversely to the axis of rotation (8) of the hinge (1) but is retained in the first hinge part (4) so that it cannot be displaced in the direction of the axis of rotation (8).
