Claims (11)

  1. Holder for shutters of windows, doors, or the like which are pivotally mounted about a vertical axis of rotation by means of hinges, the holder comprising a slide bar (1) which is mounted in the installed state at a horizontal end face of the shutter for longitudinal displacement against a spring force, the slide bar having an actuation end disposed in the direction of the hinge end, a shallow housing (4) secured to the horizontal end face of the shutter for receiving an element for the generation of the spring force and a latch element (6) provided on the slide bar which can be coupled with a frame side or wall side holding device (10) via a latch recess (7) while forming a releasable latch connection for fixing the shutter in the open position,
    characterised in that
    the slide bar (1) is designed as a flat strip and provided with longitudinal slots (2) into which guiding and holding devices (3) attached to the shutter engage, of which at least one is designed in the form of the shallow housing (4) containing the element generating the spring force and has a receiving space for a bias spring which on the one hand is supported at one end (24) of a longitudinal slot (2) of the slide bar (1) and on the other hand is supported on a housing abutment (25), and in that the latch element (6) provided in the region of the end of the flat strip slide bar (1) remote from the actuation end (5) comprises at least one flat lug part (28) having the latch recess (7) provided for the coupling with the frame side or wall side holding device (10).
  2. Holder according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the latch element (6) formed as the flat lug part (28) is formed in one piece with the flat strip slide bar (1) or attached as a separate part planar with to the slide bar (1).
  3. Holder according to claim 1 or 2,
    characterised in that
    a ramp surface (8) for the frame side or wall side holding device (10) precedes the latch recess (7), which is substantially U-shaped.
  4. Holder according to one of the previous claims,
    characterised in that
    a press down ramp surface (9) for the frame side or wall side holding device (10) is provided opposite the latch recess (7).
  5. Holder according to one of the previous claims,
    characterised in that
    the latch element (6) is disposed between two guiding and holding devices (3).
  6. Holder according to one of the previous claims,
    characterised in that
    the guiding and holding devices (3) have central through openings (11) for screw attachment and that they have recesses of U-shape in cross-section for guiding the side webs (20) bounding the longitudinal slots (2) in the slide bar (1) in their lateral edge regions.
  7. Holder according to one of the previous claims,
    characterised in that
    the shallow housing (4) comprises a bottom part (12) and a cover part (13) which accommodate and guide the slide bar (1) having the longitudinal slots (2) and furthermore localise between them the receiving space for the bias spring.
  8. Holder according to claim 7,
    characterised in that
    the shallow housing (4) has an elongated slot region (14) for the screw attachment to the relevant frame or shutter.
  9. Holder according to one of the previous claims,
    characterised in that
    the width of the shallow housing (4) is at least substantially equal to the width of the slide bar (1).
  10. Holder according to one of the previous claims,
    characterised in that
    the frame side or wall side holding device (10) comprises a bracket with a latch strip (15) of nose-shaped cross-section, and that the latch surface (26) extends substantially parallel to the base surface of the bracket (2) and is intended for engagement into the latch recess (7) of the latch element (6).
  11. Holder according to one of the previous claims,
    characterised in that
    the flat lug part (28) is attached adjustably to the slide bar (1).
