Description

The invention relates to a door or window hinge with a fixed to a door or window sash wing band, which is articulated with a bearing pin on a frame-fixed frame band and engages the sash with a support member which is between the bearing pin and a fastening of the wing band arranged on the casement fastener is arranged and engages with at least one angle leg in a bottom groove of the wing hinge to avoid canting of the door or window hinge.

A door hinge having most of the foregoing features is well known. It is designed so that it can carry the heavy load of the door without being jammed or tipped by this load. Such an adjustment would cause the door does not have the predetermined position on the frame and therefore malfunction result because the door does not close properly. The heavy load of the door should be transferred without jamming on the door hinge in particular, that the wing hinge with support members in the sash intervenes. Such a support member is a round cylindrical pin which engages in a hole of the usually formed as a hollow profile sash. Support members are provided in addition to mounting bolts which are screwed into the sash frame to secure the sash hinge to the frame. However, it has been proven that the retaining projections are not sufficient. Nevertheless, there is a tilting of the sash or tilting of the door hinge, especially if the door has high weight.

From the only with respect to the novelty relevant document EP 0 940 541, which discloses all the features of the preamble of claim 1, it can be seen that the support member engages with at least one angle leg in a bottom groove of the wing hinge to avoid canting of the door or window hinge. It should be noted, however, that EP 0 940 541 discloses a support member that must be connected for its holding function with a support arm prior to assembly of the band by means of a press connection of pins. Furthermore, the band known therefrom has three holes in the leg of the bend in order to attach mounting screws parallel to the plane of the wing. The bending is therefore in the so-called operating state not a single part and also requires an attachment by means of the above-mentioned screws.

In contrast, the invention has for its object to improve a door or window hinge with the features mentioned so that even very large sash weights can be reliably transferred to the frame, without tilting the tape or tilts.

This object is achieved in that the support member is struck only on the hinged frame-side end face of the sash and from there, the wing hinge bearing bolt parallel supported without being attached thereto.

For the invention it is important that the support member is supported as close as possible to the bearing pin and at the same time as tight as possible attached to the casement. This results in a bearing bolt parallel support in the immediate vicinity of the bearing pin. A tilting of the band in the sense that the wing strip tilts from the constructively provided horizontal position parallel to the frame plane in an inclined position with respect to the horizontal, is thereby practically excluded. In this context, it is advantageous that the support member posted on the sash, so is attached. With the attachment can be ensured that the disadvantages of a male engagement of support members are avoided in holes of the sash, for example, unwanted tolerances or local overloads of the frame material. The supporting action of the support member depends only on the vote of its engagement in the wing hinge. A particular advantage is the fact that a longitudinal extension of the groove from the end face of the sash in the direction of the frame band is not required to accommodate an angle leg. In addition, there is a significant advantage that the wall thickness of the angle and thus the depth of the groove can be kept low. Deformations of the angle legs are not to be feared because of its investment both on the wing band, and on the sash.

The band can be formed so that the support member is plate-shaped in the region of the bezel-side end face. The plate-like design of the support member has the consequence that it is correspondingly thin in this area. So it does not bother in the narrow space between the end face of the sash and this adjacent frame band. Moreover, the plate-like configuration has the advantage that it can be dimensioned correspondingly large the attachment conditions of the support member on the frame side face.

For the attachment of the support member on the casement is preferred that the support member is screwed sunk. Screwing is a conventional fastening technique that allows to transmit even large forces. The countersinking of the screw heads avoids an increase in the space required for the arrangement of the support member between the end face of the sash and the frame band.

On the hinge side, doors and windows are conventionally provided with a rollover which allows the rebate space to be sealed between mutually adjacent front sides of the window frame and the sash frame. It is therefore in terms of a conventional design and arrangement of rotating belts on an outer wall of a sash advantageous if the support member is posted on the end face of a rollover of the sash. It is not necessary to strike the support member in the region of the rebate on the front side of the sash. Stop points on the face of the rollover of the sash are optimally firm.

The door or window hinge can be further developed in that the wing hinge is provided with at least one vertical groove to the pivot bearing pin in a voltage applied to the casement bottom, in which engages the support member. Such grooves are known in the formation of adjacent sash of the wing bands to create defined support points and a strong profiling of the cross section of the sash. Advantageously, such a groove is utilized to allow the support member to engage in it. Such an intervention can be done by a corresponding design on the support member virtually no play. The engagement of the support member in a groove also has the significant advantage that horizontal adjustments of the sash band are not hindered. In contrast, conventional holding projections or supporting parts are disadvantageous because they require adjustment slots for their engagement in the wing band, which in turn special constructive Formations of the wing band need to ensure that the retaining projections support the to be fixed in different horizontal positions on the sash wing band in the desired manner.

The band can be formed so that the support member is an angle plate whose wall thickness is matched to the depth of the groove. In particular, therefore, the wall thickness of the angle plate is equal to the depth of the groove. The support member is optimally stable in this case.

The band can be designed to the effect that the support member has two mutually parallel angle legs, which engage in each case a bottom groove of the wing band. The support member is accordingly large and stable. Any existing bottom grooves of the wing strip can be advantageously exploited. Two mutually parallel angle legs are also advantageous because usually two superimposed mounting or engagement points must be present for attachment of the support member to the end face of the sash, the entprechende require vertical extension, which can be exploited for the arrangement of two parallel angle legs.

In the formation of the band is preferable that the support member between two parallel angle legs a recess for receiving a between two bottom grooves having existing bottom rib. This ensures that the wing band can be fixed without clamping the support member to the sash. A large-area or mehrlinige support of the sash on the casement is not disturbed by the support member.

Ultimately, it may be advantageous that in addition to the support member at least one retaining projection is present, which engages perpendicular to the frame plane in the casement. It is then achieved a corresponding multiple vertical support of the wing band on the sash.

The door hinge 10 shown in Figures 1, 2 is used for the articulated mounting of a door leaf on a frame 15 which is fixed in a reveal of a wall. The door consists of a sash frame 13 and is pivotable about a pivot axis 10 'of the belt. In this case, the tape 10 must ensure that the door even with heavy, and accordingly the tape 10 incriminating execution, does not change the set position during its installation. Otherwise, malfunctions would occur.

The door hinge 10 consists essentially of a frame band 14 which is fixed to the frame with a plurality of fastening screws 28 arranged one above the other, and of a wing band 11, which is hinged to the frame band 14 via a bearing pin 12. The bearing pin 12, which forms the hinge axis 10 ', is in a conventional manner formed and engages with one end in the frame band 14 and with the other end in the wing band 11 a. His training is not shown in detail because of the conventionality.

The wing band 11 surrounds the bearing pin 12, for example, with two spaced joint eyes 11 ', which are components of correspondingly spaced side webs 11' 'of the wing band 11. The wing band 11 has a bottom 21, from which the side webs 11 'project in the same direction perpendicular to the plane of illustration of FIG. Between the side bars 11 '' is a clamping plate 29 which is provided with fastening elements 16. These fasteners 16 are, for example, screws whose heads press against the clamping plate 29, as soon as they are tightened to the sash 13. The clamping plate rests on the bottom 21 and pushes it against the sash frame 13 when the fasteners 16 are tightened tight. By clamping the clamping plate 29 on or against the bottom 20, the wing band 11 is fixed to the sash frame 13.

As a result, there is a very tight fit of the fasteners 16 on the sash 13. The disadvantage here is that the distance of the fasteners 16 of the frame band 14 is quite large. Significant loads through the door, in particular by a built-in the sash 13 heavy glazing lead, for example over time to the fact that the sash tilts from the originally intended horizontal position in an oblique position in which it forms an angle with the horizontal. To prevent this, a holding projection 26 is present in the band 10, which engages in the casement 13. The retaining projection 26 must be fixed in the sash. A fixation on the wing band 11 is theoretically also conceivable, but then would have to be present on the sash 13, a horizontal slot so that the wing band 11 is moved horizontally can be. Such a horizontal adjustment is necessary so that the wing can be adjusted within the frame 15. For example, the rebate space 30 must be increased or decreased by an end face 18 of the sash 13 of an end face 15 'of the frame can be approximated or removed from this. Such an adjustment is necessary, for example, to adjust existing in the rebate 30 engagement elements. With regard to such Verstellnotwendigkeiten Figure 1 shows a solution in which the retaining projection 26 engages in a slot 31 of the bottom 21. It is understood in this embodiment that this tolerances are opened, which favor a sagging of the wing strip 11 in the plane of Fig. 1 by the weight of the door leaf.

In order to further complicate or prevent tipping of the wing, a support member 17 is present. The support member 17 is struck according to Figure 2 on the end face 18, more precisely on the end face 18 'of a wing flap 19. From the illustrations it follows that the support member 17 is an angle plate, whose one angle leg 17 '' is plate-shaped. This angle leg 17 '' is posted on the front side 18 'of the flashover 19 by double screw. This is shown in Figure 3, in which two lowered screw holes 33 are shown, can be screwed by the fastening screws in the rollover 19, wherein the screw heads, not shown, are housed in countersinks 33 'of these holes 33. The plate-like design of the angle leg 17 '' and the accommodation of the heads of the fastening screws in the countersinks 33 'has the consequence that the space occupied by the angle leg 17 "space between the flap 19 and the frame belt 14 is very low parallel to the frame plane 27. Es It is not necessary to increase the distance between the frame strip 14 and the flap 19 structurally existing because of the angle leg 17 ".

The support function of the support member 17 is achieved in that this engages with two angle legs 17 'in grooves 20 of the bottom 21.

In Fig.3a two mutually parallel bottom grooves 20 are present, which pass horizontally in the frame plane 27. In these grooves 20, the angle leg 17 'engage so that they are parallel to the groove. They practically fill the cross sections of the grooves, as shown in FIG. 3a. The angle leg 17 'are therefore in the directions of their angle leg 17' 'and at the same time not to adjust parallel in the frame plane 27 when the angle leg 17' 'is attached to the flap 19. Conversely, then also the bottom 21 in the above-described direction, ie perpendicular to the plane of representation of Figure 2, not adjusted. As a result, it is held immovably by the support member 17 parallel to the bearing pin 12. It is ensured that the bottom 21 can rest with its bottom ribs 25 over the entire surface of the casement 13. On the one hand, this does not disturb the presence of the angle legs 17 'between the rollover 19 and the bottom 20, because they are fully absorbed by the grooves 20, nor disturbs the central bottom rib 25 between the two angle legs 17', because the support member 17 has between the two mutually parallel angle legs 17 'has a recess 24 into which the bottom rib 25 can engage.

In the above construction, it is ensured that the wing hinge 11 and the groove bottom 21 can be moved horizontally. For this purpose, it is not necessary that an existing between the side webs 11 '' cap 34 is removed in order to get to the fastening means 16. These need not be solved because the clamping plate 29 is not pressed too firmly against the sash 13. The groove bottom 23 can be moved horizontally into the required horizontal position without obstruction by the clamping plate 29 and especially without obstruction by the angle leg 17 'of the support member 17. In this case, in addition to the support member 17, a retaining projection 26 may be present, for then, however, the horizontal longitudinal slot 31 shown in Figure 1 must be present in order not to hinder the above-described horizontal adjustment. A corresponding longitudinal slot would also be present if a support member not only in the groove 20 of the bottom 21 engages, but for example with a pin in a bore of the bottom 21st

The length of the angle leg 17 '' is comparatively short. The angle legs 17 'terminate at a distance in front of the retaining projection 26. However, it is also possible, depending on the design of the spindle slide, to use longer angle legs 17'. These angle legs can extend into the region of the fastening elements 16 '. In this case, there is an improved longitudinal guidance of the wing band 11 through the angle leg 17 'in the case of a horizontal adjustment of the wing band 11. So this adjustment is not blocked, the angle legs in the region of the fasteners 16 and any existing dowel pins 35 must be provided with slots, not shown be so that an adjustment in the horizontal direction is possible.

For all the above-described embodiments is important that the attachment of the support member 17 is made bezel-side and wing band side a support engagement is present, which requires no attachment. Accordingly, no attachment needs to be solved when the wing hinge 11 is displaced relative to the sash. The support engagement of the frame side mounted support member 17 is therefore unconnected with respect to the wing band 11, but also such that the described tilting or tipping of the tape is avoided.
