- A combination comprising a bolt and/or latch striking part (1, 31), provided with a striking edge (2, 2'), for a door or window closure and a striking plate (3, 3') for attachment to the door or window frame (28), to which striking plate (3, 3') the bolt and/or latch striking part (1, 31) may be adjustably fastened, wherein, for the purpose of adjustment of the striking edge (2, 2'), the bolt and/or latch striking part (1, 31) may be smoothly adjusted by means of an eccentric adjusting device (14, 14', 17, 17', 18, 18', 20), which rests against the striking plate (3, 3'), and fixed by means of set screws (9) which pass through elongate holes (8) in the striking plate (3, 3'), characterised in that the bolt and/or latch striking part (1, 31) comprises two parallel guide ribs (12, 15; 12', 15') extending at right angles to the striking edge (2, 2'), which guide ribs (12, 15; 12', 15') are guided in guide slots (13, 16; 13', 16') in the striking plate (3, 3') at right angles to the striking edge (2, 2') and in that a circular eccentric disk (18, 18') mounted rotatably in the bolt and/or latch striking part (1, 31) is arranged between these guide ribs (12, 15; 12', 15'), which eccentric disk (18, 18') comprises a non-central cylindrical pin (17, 17') which is mounted in an eccentric guide (20) in the striking plate (3, 3') so as to be rotatable and displaceable at right angles to the guide ribs (12, 15; 12', 15') and may be rotated by means of a tool.
- A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the striking plate (3, 3') has an H-shaped punched-out portion, which forms the two guide slots (13, 16; 13', 16') and the eccentric guide (20).
- A device according to claim 2, characterised in that a scale (24) is attached to one of the guide ribs (12, 15; 12', 15'), which scale corresponds with a pointer (25) attached to the striking plate (3, 3').
- A device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the bolt striking part (1) comprises a bolt hole which is defined by two parallel ribs (26, 27), one of which forms the striking edge (2), and in that these ribs (26, 27) engage in a bolt aperture (7) in the striking plate (3), the width of which aperture (7) is greater by the adjustment distance than the distance between the outsides of the ribs (26, 27).
- A device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that a plastics cap part (4, 4') conformed to the respective frame section (28) is attached to each of the upper and lower ends of the striking plate (3, 3') and comprises a web (5) insertable into a groove (29) in said section.
- A device according to claim 5, characterised in that the striking plate (3, 3') comprises lateral webs (22) between which the cap parts (4) may be inserted and in that recesses (10, 11) are arranged in the cap parts (4) and the end portions of the striking plate (3, 3'), said recesses (10, 11) being provided to accommodate a clamping sleeve (32) clippable therein, through which sleeve (32) a fastening screw (33) may pass, the head of which may be accommodated in countersunk manner in said sleeve (32).
- A device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the aperture (7') in the striking plate (3') is open towards the striking edge (2').
- A device according to claim 7, characterised in that the striking edge (2') of the latch striking part may be lowered or folded down electromagnetically.
