Definitions
- the invention relates to a front door with a frame with a filling mounted therein and with a spring element which frame is rotatably mounted or attachable by means of multiple hinges on a door frame or frame, wherein mounted or attachable between the frame and the door frame or frame, a spring element is that is twisted when opening the intent door and automatically closes the additional door when the door is released by the action of the energy stored in the spring element.
- Such fastening systems are known and are used for example in front doors in the form of lightweight insect screens.
- a fiberglass fabric or a fabric cover is used to prevent the ingress of insects into the house interior.
- Such front doors are usually mounted on the outside of the door frame or door frame and allow easy opening of the front door to the inside. At the same time the externally attached front door protects against flying insects.
- the outside mounted frame can be swung open.
- the frame has on one longitudinal side a plurality of hinges which simultaneously serve for fastening the frame to the door or window floor. After passing through the door, it can be closed again. It has been shown in practice that the closing of the door is often forgotten by children, so that the protective function of flying insects is not given. It may also be the case that the door is ajar, but not fully abutting the door frame or frame, leaving a narrow opening gap that allows insects to enter the house.
- a twistable spring element in the form of a Torsionsstabwovenes is supported at one end to a door hinged to the hinge pin and the other end to a festzustegenden to the door frame or frame receiving fitting.
- Torsionsstabfederb If the door is opened, the Torsionsstabfederb is twisted and stretched, so that the door can be automatically closed again.
- the assembly is difficult in terms of the exact positioning of Torsionsstabfederwovenes and it supporting components.
- the invention is therefore based on the problem of specifying a front door of the type mentioned, which avoids the disadvantages mentioned and in particular ensures a safe closing of the door.
- each one end portion of the spring member receiving receiving fitting is arranged, wherein at least the arranged on the front door receiving fitting along the vertical frame profile and slidably is releasably attachable.
- the torsion bar is mounted near the axis of rotation of the header door so that the longitudinal axis of the torsion bar is substantially parallel to the axis of rotation of the header door. This results in the advantage of a very small footprint and a low installation depth. This feature is particularly important because such doors are very often closed on the outside by a roller blind.
- the intent door together with the torsion bar must therefore be designed to save space especially to the Close a blind or a blind to allow. Accordingly, in the attachment door according to the invention, the rotational movement of the attachment door is converted into a torsional movement of the torsion bar. In contrast to known door closers, the installation depth is not increased in the front door according to the invention.
- the torsion bar expediently has a round cross-section at least outside its end sections.
- the use of round bars offers the advantage that standardized semi-finished products can be used, which are correspondingly inexpensive.
- the receiving fitting can be designed so that the spring element, or the torsion bar can be inserted into the receiving fitting.
- the assembly is limited to the attachment of the two receiving fittings on the door frame or frame and on the front door.
- the inventive Additional door is particularly easy to install, if at least arranged on the front door receiving fitting along the vertical frame profile slidably and releasably fastened.
- additional doors are suitable, in particular in which at least arranged in the vicinity of the axis of rotation vertical frame profile of the attachment door has a one- or two-sided undercut groove into which a correspondingly opposite trained Nut Pacific the receiving insert can be used and clamped by means of a fastener fastened.
- a fastening system is for example from the post-published patent application DE 199 61 980.8 known.
- the second, arranged on the door frame or frame receiving fitting is fixed in place, for example screwed to the frame.
- two mutually parallel surfaces are formed by reshaping at each end portion of the torsion bar, which can be inserted into correspondingly opposite shaped insertion openings of the receiving fittings. This forming process is required for the torsion bar to transmit torque.
- the two parallel surfaces are to be understood by way of example, but the invention is not limited thereto.
- the torsion bar z. B. also be square or star-shaped at its ends and be inserted into correspondingly fitting receiving fittings.
- the use of two mutually parallel surfaces additionally offers the advantage of easy manufacturability.
- the torsion bar is twisted when the door is opened and then rotates back to its original position when the door is released.
- the torsion bar is therefore mountable under a bias voltage.
- a moment is impressed on the torsion bar so that at least a small residual moment is exerted on the additional door even when the door is completely closed, keeping it in the rest position.
- attachment doors are preferred in which the parallel surfaces of the first end portion of the torsion bar relative to those of the second end portion with respect to the longitudinal axis of the torsion bar are rotated by a certain angle of rotation. This angle of rotation is taken into account in the manufacture of the torsion bar in the forming process. In this way, the torsion bar can be installed with the door closed so that it exerts a closing moment on the front door. On the front door thus always has a certain bias, which prevents unwanted opening of the intent door even with lighter gusts of wind.
- Rotation angles which are between 5 ° and 20 ° are particularly favorable, preferably a rotation angle of 10 ° is selected.
- the indication of the angle of rotation depends on the diameter and the length of the torsion bar.
- the mentioned rotation angles refer to a diameter of 3 mm and a Torsionsstabmother of 700 mm. If you deviate from these parameters, the rotation angle must be adjusted accordingly.
- the spring constant of the torsion bar can be adjusted by its length or by the choice of a different cross-section. For larger or heavier front doors also a corresponding stronger torsion bar is to be used.
- a maximum opening angle of 110 ° to 130 ° can be achieved, with an opening angle of 120 ° is preferred.
- the torsion bar made of steel, in particular made of a stainless steel.
- a light metal alloy can be used for the receiving fittings.
- FIG. 1 shows a section through an attachment door 1 in the region of a receiving lamination 2.
- the attachment door 1 is fastened to a door frame 5.
- the door 6 and the front door 1 are fixed to opposite door jambs, the door 6, which may be an entrance door of a house, being inwardly swingable and the front door 1 swinging outwards.
- the intent door is as usual by means of suitable hinge connections, as z. B. from the patent application 199 61 980.8, which is incorporated herein by reference, is attached to the frame. From the front door 1 only the relevant area for the invention is shown.
- the frame profile 8 is a hollow profile, preferably made of aluminum, which has a receptacle 9 for a mesh fabric 10 on one side.
- the frame profile 8 On its rear side, the frame profile 8 has an undercut groove 11, which serves both for fastening hinges, not shown, as well as for fixing the upper receiving tab 2 and the lower receiving tab 3.
- the hinges, not shown, are used for fastening the attachment door 1 on the door frame. 5
- the upper receiving fitting 2 has an eye-shaped recess 12 into which a torsion bar 4 is inserted.
- the torsion bar 4 is arranged perpendicular to the sectional plane, so that it is shown only in cross section.
- the lower end of the torsion bar 4 is inserted into a corresponding recess of the lower receiving tab 3.
- This receiving fitting 3 is screwed to the door frame 5 via a connecting means, which is formed in the illustrated embodiment as a screw 13.
- the receiving fittings 2, 3 may be identical, but alternatively they may also differ with regard to the attachment to the door frame or to the frame profile.
- Fig. 2 shows a partial perspective view of the attachment door 1, from which the operation of the torsion bar 4 emerges.
- the attachment hinges, not shown, for the attachment door are arranged above and below the section shown.
- the axis of rotation of the mounting hinges coincides approximately with the longitudinal axis of the torsion bar 4.
- the front door 1 is partially opened. If the intent door 1 is pivoted out of its rest position and thus opened, then the upper receiving fitting 2, which is fixedly mounted on the door-side frame section 8, also rotated.
- the receiving fitting 2 is on the other hand with the upper end of the torsion bar 4 connected.
- the lower end of the torsion bar 4 is also rotatably inserted in the lower receiving fitting 3, which is fixedly mounted on the door frame 5.
- a moment is introduced into the torsion bar 4 via the receiving fitting 2. So it is the torsion of a cantilevered rod. Accordingly, the opening of the attachment door 1 leads to a torsion of the torsion bar 4.
- this torsion is in the linear elastic range, so that the torsion is completely reversible apart from the effects of friction.
- the torsion bar 4 exerts a restoring moment on the rotatable attachment door 1 from. Accordingly, there is a reversal of the rotational movement and the intent door 1 closes automatically until it has reached its starting position.
- Fig. 3 shows a horizontal section through the receiving fitting 2 for the torsion bar 4. It is related to the frame profile 8 receiving fitting. This has an L-shaped profile, at one end of the eye-shaped recess 12 is formed. In order to enable a rotationally fixed coupling of the attachment door 1 with the torsion bar 4, the recess 12 has two mutually parallel surfaces 14, 15, which are interconnected via circular sections. In the recess 12 one end of the torsion bar 4 is inserted, which is formed in accordance with the same. At the end of the other leg of the receiving fitting 2 groove sections 16, 17 are formed, which engage in the undercut groove 11 of the frame profile 8. Between the Nut Southen 16, 17, a through hole 18 is arranged, which allows a clamping attachment of the receiving bracket 2 in the groove 11, which will not be discussed in detail.
- the receiving fitting 2 is made of an extruded aluminum profile.
- Fig. 4a is a representation of the torsion bar 4, wherein the central portion is not shown.
- the torsion bar 4 is made of a round steel, at its end portions 19, 20 are formed two parallel surfaces, so that the end portions 19, 20 in the recesses 12 of the receiving fittings 2 and 3 can be inserted.
- Fig. 4b shows the torsion bar according to Fig. 4a in a rotated by 90 ° view.
- the respective parallel surfaces at one end portion of the torsion bar 4 are not symmetrical to those of the other end portion, but they are rotated relative to one another by a specific angle of rotation ⁇ with respect to the longitudinal axis of the torsion bar 4.
- the profile of the torsion bar 4 is explained by the sections shown in FIGS. 4c, 4d and 4e.
- FIG. 4c shows the torsion bar along the line I - I cut in Fig. 4a, the arrows indicating the viewing direction.
- the parallel surfaces 21, 22 of the upper end portion 19 are rotated by the rotational angle ⁇ , which is approximately 10 ° in the illustrated embodiment, with respect to the axis of symmetry.
- Fig. 4d shows the torsion bar according to Fig. 4a along the line II - II cut, which is not deformed in this area and has a round cross-section.
- Fig. 4e shows the torsion bar along the line III - III cut.
- the cross section corresponds identically to that shown in FIG. 4 c and likewise has two parallel surfaces 23, 24. Accordingly, a certain angle of rotation is fixed between the upper end portions 19 and the lower Endabschitt 20.
- a bias voltage more precisely a biasing moment can be generated, which constantly exerts a closing moment when the auxiliary door 1 is closed.
- the assembly of the torsion bar 4 is carried out in a simple manner, in which the lower portion 20 is inserted into the stationary on the door frame 5 mounted receiving fitting 3.
- the upper receiving fitting 2 is inserted into the groove 11 of the frame profile 8 but not yet fixed, so that it is vertically movable along the groove 11.
- the recesses 12 are in the upper and lower receiving fitting 2, 3 exactly above the other. Accordingly, the upper end portion 19 of the torsion bar 4 must be rotated for mounting so that it can be inserted into the receiving fitting 2. This is done with a suitable tool, such as an open-end wrench, the clear width of the distance the two parallel surfaces 21, 22 corresponds, the upper end portion 19 of the Torsionsstabs 4 gripped and twisted until the position of the parallel surfaces 21, 22 is aligned exactly to the recess 12 of the receiving lug 2. The receiving fitting 2 can be pushed onto the torsion bar 4, whereby the assembly is completed.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a front door with a frame with a filling mounted therein and with a spring element which frame is rotatably mounted or attachable by means of multiple hinges on a door frame or frame, wherein mounted or attachable between the frame and the door frame or frame, a spring element is that is twisted when opening the intent door and automatically closes the additional door when the door is released by the action of the energy stored in the spring element.
Such fastening systems are known and are used for example in front doors in the form of lightweight insect screens. As a filling, a fiberglass fabric or a fabric cover is used to prevent the ingress of insects into the house interior. Such front doors are usually mounted on the outside of the door frame or door frame and allow easy opening of the front door to the inside. At the same time the externally attached front door protects against flying insects.
If you want to go through the door, the outside mounted frame can be swung open. For this purpose, the frame has on one longitudinal side a plurality of hinges which simultaneously serve for fastening the frame to the door or window floor.
If the door is opened, the Torsionsstabfederpaket is twisted and stretched, so that the door can be automatically closed again. The assembly is difficult in terms of the exact positioning of Torsionsstabfederpaketes and it supporting components.
The invention is therefore based on the problem of specifying a front door of the type mentioned, which avoids the disadvantages mentioned and in particular ensures a safe closing of the door.
To solve this problem is provided in the front door according to
It is particularly useful if the spring element formed as a torsion bar and rotatably connected to its first end portion with the frame of the attachment door and with its second end portion rotatably connected to the door frame or frame or is connectable. By using a Torsionsstabs can create a particularly space-saving design. The torsion bar is mounted near the axis of rotation of the header door so that the longitudinal axis of the torsion bar is substantially parallel to the axis of rotation of the header door. This results in the advantage of a very small footprint and a low installation depth. This feature is particularly important because such doors are very often closed on the outside by a roller blind. The intent door together with the torsion bar must therefore be designed to save space especially to the Close a blind or a blind to allow. Accordingly, in the attachment door according to the invention, the rotational movement of the attachment door is converted into a torsional movement of the torsion bar. In contrast to known door closers, the installation depth is not increased in the front door according to the invention.
The torsion bar expediently has a round cross-section at least outside its end sections. The use of round bars offers the advantage that standardized semi-finished products can be used, which are correspondingly inexpensive.
In a further development of the invention, it is provided that two mutually parallel surfaces are formed by reshaping at each end portion of the torsion bar, which can be inserted into correspondingly opposite shaped insertion openings of the receiving fittings. This forming process is required for the torsion bar to transmit torque. The two parallel surfaces are to be understood by way of example, but the invention is not limited thereto. There are further modifications conceivable, the torsion bar z. B. also be square or star-shaped at its ends and be inserted into correspondingly fitting receiving fittings. The use of two mutually parallel surfaces additionally offers the advantage of easy manufacturability.
With such an additional door according to the invention a reliable closing is already possible. The torsion bar is twisted when the door is opened and then rotates back to its original position when the door is released. However, due to friction losses in the hinges and due to the material damping, it may happen that the auxiliary door is not completely closed after the end of the closing movement. Preferably, the torsion bar is therefore mountable under a bias voltage. During assembly, a moment is impressed on the torsion bar so that at least a small residual moment is exerted on the additional door even when the door is completely closed, keeping it in the rest position.
Therefore, attachment doors are preferred in which the parallel surfaces of the first end portion of the torsion bar relative to those of the second end portion with respect to the longitudinal axis of the torsion bar are rotated by a certain angle of rotation.
Rotation angles which are between 5 ° and 20 ° are particularly favorable, preferably a rotation angle of 10 ° is selected. Of course, the indication of the angle of rotation depends on the diameter and the length of the torsion bar. The mentioned rotation angles refer to a diameter of 3 mm and a Torsionsstablänge of 700 mm. If you deviate from these parameters, the rotation angle must be adjusted accordingly. The spring constant of the torsion bar can be adjusted by its length or by the choice of a different cross-section. For larger or heavier front doors also a corresponding stronger torsion bar is to be used.
With the additional door according to the invention, a maximum opening angle of 110 ° to 130 ° can be achieved, with an opening angle of 120 ° is preferred.
In terms of corrosion resistance, it is recommended that the torsion bar made of steel, in particular made of a stainless steel. For the receiving fittings, a light metal alloy can be used.

The upper receiving fitting 2 has an eye-shaped
Fig. 2 shows a partial perspective view of the
Fig. 3 shows a horizontal section through the receiving fitting 2 for the torsion bar 4. It is related to the
Fig. 4a is a representation of the torsion bar 4, wherein the central portion is not shown. The torsion bar 4 is made of a round steel, at its
Fig. 4b shows the torsion bar according to Fig. 4a in a rotated by 90 ° view. As can be seen in FIGS. 4 a and 4 b, the respective parallel surfaces at one end portion of the torsion bar 4 are not symmetrical to those of the other end portion, but they are rotated relative to one another by a specific angle of rotation α with respect to the longitudinal axis of the torsion bar 4.
The profile of the torsion bar 4 is explained by the sections shown in FIGS. 4c, 4d and 4e.
Fig. 4c zeigt den Torsionsstab entlang der Linie I - I in Fig. 4a geschnitten, wobei die Pfeile die Blickrichtung angeben. Die Parallelflächen 21, 22 des oberen Endabschnitts 19 sind um den Drehwinkel α, der in dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ca. 10° beträgt, gegenüber der Symmetrieachse verdreht.4c shows the torsion bar along the line I - I cut in Fig. 4a, the arrows indicating the viewing direction. The parallel surfaces 21, 22 of the
Fig. 4d shows the torsion bar according to Fig. 4a along the line II - II cut, which is not deformed in this area and has a round cross-section.
Fig. 4e shows the torsion bar along the line III - III cut. The cross section corresponds identically to that shown in FIG. 4 c and likewise has two
