Definitions
- the invention relates to a floor drain according to the preamble of the claim 1.
- Floor inlets are known to be in a ceiling or foundation slab Building used and serve to drain the surface water, namely either as a so-called single inlet or as a gutter-floor inlet.
- a floor drain with a pot-like cylindrical is known Lower part, which is embedded in the floor and an annular or a segment-shaped Has base plate which is connected to a rising desk surface. Parallel to the desk surface and at a distance from it is an inclined baffle Welded side wall of the lower part, the free end edge of the desk surface being Overflow edge is arranged near the longitudinal axis.
- a drain socket closes down to the base plate.
- a floor drain with a cup-shaped is known Lower part, on the bottom of which a drain socket is welded.
- the drain water is caught by a top. It forms with a bell and an overflow nozzle a siphon-like odor trap.
- Between the downpipe socket and a drainage gap is provided in the upper and lower part. The drainage gap enables the infiltration of leachate.
- the invention has for its object to provide a floor drain, the characterized by a relatively low overall height and which is nevertheless an effective one Water drainage guaranteed and an effective odor trap.
- an inner wall section is provided which over a rounded transition section with the lower end of the outer wall of the Lower part is connected and extends from there up to form a circumferential space into which the side wall of the odor trap bell intervenes.
- the drain nozzle is rounded, the overflow edge forming section connected to the upper end of the partition below Formation of a receiving space for the end of a connecting pipe.
- the connecting pipe can be in the space between the drain socket and Inserted inner wall section and sealingly connected to the drain socket become known as such.
- a particularly simple embodiment consists of the outer wall of the lower part and inner wall section to run upright or perpendicular, the cross section is preferably cylindrical, rectangular or square.
- the cross section is preferably cylindrical, rectangular or square.
- Execution is at least the lower part preferably in one part in the deep-drawing process manufactured.
- the bell which can be made pot-shaped in reverse, can also also be formed in one piece from sheet material.
- the flow behavior is improved if the inner wall section runs obliquely upwards and the side wall of the Bell has a thickness that is complementary to the first rounded section allows third rounded transition section. That way are over Radii formed gently diverting sections that allow rapid flow of the Allow water.
- the bell is formed from sheet metal, it is advisable to use the side wall double-walled to avoid unnecessary deflection or deflection surfaces.
- the flow behavior is further improved in that the inside of the side wall the bell runs approximately parallel to the inner wall section, or with a certain divergence such that the distance between the wall sections to the Overflow edge increases slightly.
- the distance between the outer wall of the base and the inner wall section decreases from above. In the field of Deflection is preferably a gap of uniform cross section.
- the bell must be attached in a suitable manner in the lower part.
- An arrangement provides for this that the bell over feet of the side wall on the first supports the rounded section. It can also be ensured that the bell is centered in the lower part by means of appropriate spacers or similar.
- the ceiling section of the bell can be placed over it feet attached to the second rounded section, i.e. the overflow edge.
- the bell can be centered by suitable means become.
- a pot-shaped lower part 10 is shown with a cylindrical outer wall 12, a cylindrical inner wall portion 14 and a cylindrical Drain connector 16.
- the wall sections 12, 14 and 16 are approximately parallel to each other and arranged at a distance from one another, the wall sections 12, 14 over a first rounded section 18 and the wall sections 14, 16 over one second rounded section 20 are interconnected.
- a receiving space 24 open at the bottom is formed.
- the Entire pot-shaped lower part 10 is made in one piece from sheet metal material in the deep-drawing process shaped. Alternatively, a welded construction can also be provided.
- a bell 26 with a ceiling section 28 and a cylindrical wall section 30 forms with the wall sections 14, 16 of the lower part 10 a siphon-like Trap.
- the wall 30 projects into the intermediate space 22, wherein 30 feet 32 are formed at the lower end of the wall, which on the rounded Stand up to section 18. Spacers or the like, not shown, ensure that the bell 26 is centered in the pot-shaped lower part 10.
- drain pipe 16 is drawn into the lower part 10 in the so-called template area for the water of the odor trap.
- the end of the drain connector 16 is even higher than the lower first rounded section 18. This gives the entire floor drain a very low overall height.
- a drain pipe 32 or a corresponding sleeve is inserted into the intermediate space 14 and pushed onto the drain pipe 16, a sealing ring 34, which in an extension of the tube 22 is seated, provides sufficient sealing.
- the upper end of the lower part 10 is, as shown at 36, flanged to Inclusion of a cover 38 with holes or slots. Over the holes or The surface water runs into the inlet and initially flows between the wall sections 12 and 30 down, then up between the wall sections 30 and 14, being a smooth one by the first rounded portion 18 Experiences redirection. The upward flowing water flows over the overflow edge, which is formed by the second rounded portion 20, inward to then to then drain off via the outlet connection 16 and the pipe 32. At the end of the inflow, the water remains in the lower part up to the level of the rounded section 20 10 stand and in this way forms the desired odor trap.
- the cup-shaped lower part 10a after 2 also has a cylindrical vertical outer wall section 12, which merges into an inner wall section 14a via a rounded section 18a, but which is inclined inwards to the vertical. Rounded over the second Section 20a, which in turn forms the overflow edge, then closes the outlet connection 16 on.
- the Special feature in this embodiment in the bell 26a which also is preferably formed from sheet material and in two layers. In the ceiling section 28a, the two sheet metal layers lie directly against one another.
- the sheet metal layers 40 and 42 form a side wall 30a of considerable thickness to form a relatively wide annular interior 44.
- the inner layer 40 runs approximately parallel to the inner wall section 14a, but with the gap between these wall sections increases slightly upwards.
- Layer 42 forms a gap with the outer wall 12, which tapers from top to bottom. It is essential that between the layers 40, 42 at the lower end a rounded Section 46 is formed, which with the rounded section 18a approximately forms an even gap and ensures a gentle redirection of the water flow.
- the described embodiment is particularly large for the attack Amounts of water suitable.
- the side wall 12 of the lower part 10a is bent laterally at the upper end, as in 48 shown.
- a cover 50 is placed over which Openings 52 water can enter from above.
- the flow of water corresponds approximately to that of the embodiment of FIG. 1, wherein, as mentioned, at All deflections of the flow always use a large radius, which leads to leads to a low flow resistance.
