Definitions
- the invention relates to a screw cam closure, as preferred for Closing hulls is used, the hot or cold filled with a filling material become and essentially the same in the bottom and mouth area Have diameter.
- the hulls have an upper circular end on which the Screw cam lock in the closed state with a sealant rests, forming a solid seal that provides training for Negative pressure or positive pressure allowed in the closed container.
- Below this Sealing point and radially outside the screw cam lock engages circumferentially spaced screw cams under corresponding inclined engagement elements of the container, for applying axial clamping force.
- the sealing point and the The point of engagement of the screw cams is clear axially and radially slightly spaced.
- the upper end of the lower fuselage is retracted, so that the radial overhang of the screw cam lock with its apron wall in the essentially continues the rest of the fuselage area in the axial direction without clearly to be drawn in radially or projecting.
- the invention has set itself the task of improving the stackability or suitability of the closure, wherein stacking of containers should be favored so that a secure hold of a fuselage stacked on top of the closure should be possible without impairing the sealing effect of the closure .
- the solution lies in a comprehensive gradation in the area of Sealant should be provided so that the lower end of the fuselage is on this Gradation can stand and forces from above through the closure and the Transfer compound straight through to the upper end of the lower fuselage can be.
- the gradation has two tasks. On the one hand, it forms a stand for the upper fuselage, on the other hand it is the starting point for one the upper fuselage short axial piece enclosing centering wall (claim 10), which is a lateral Avoid slipping of the stacked container (hull) white.
- the zone of the sealant can be divided into two sections be divided into a further inner and a further channel area, the lies radially outside.
- the inner ring area serves as a seal. It can be radial Extent be formed somewhat smaller than the rest of the channel area (Claim 13).
- the dimension of these two sealant areas is in the axial direction designed so that the sealing channel area is less thick than has other channel area, which is designed in particular according to claim 12. Both channel areas together are essentially U-shaped Ring area arranged, the U-shaped formation through the step itself is changed.
- the reduction can be step-like (claim 3), with the formation of a stepped outside and steady transition inside (claim 9).
- the gradation itself can have a flat saddle surface on which the lower end the upper container can stand up substantially smooth to form a real hard shoulder.
- the indentation in the channel area to form the footprint (the Contact ring) is arranged in the radial area of the sealant (Claim 11), so that in a stacked state of two containers (Claim 10) the top ends, bottom ends and the trained footprint in entire stack is substantially aligned.
- Figure 1 illustrates the lower end of the upper container 43 and the upper end of the lower container 33.
- Both containers can be glass containers, the lower end being slightly retracted and the upper end also slightly retracting in the closure area.
- slightly inclined and spaced-apart projections 31, 32 are provided, which are adapted in their grid dimensions to appropriately designed screw cams.
- the screw cams themselves are arranged on the closure visible between the two containers in a curl 18, which are attached to the lower end of a circumferential apron wall 20.
- the apron wall itself has essentially the height of the intake area of the lower container 33.
- the lid mirror which has a central portion 26 that is substantially flat, and has an annular zone region 25 as a relief region has one Circumferential gutter R, which better in the enlarged sections is recognizable.
- FIG. 2a Another Enlarged section of Figure 2b is dedicated to the cam area 18, which in the closed state engages under a projection visible in the section, the is designed in the same way as the two projections 31 and shown in side view 32.
- FIG. 2a illustrates the edge region R of the cover, starting from the outer edge of the continuously sloping zone region 25 up to the substantially vertical skirt wall 20.
- the lower end 40 of the upper body and the upper end 30 of the lower body are also shown .
- the step 22, 23 introduced has an annular plateau surface on which the lower one Can get up full in the late 40s.
- the essentially or almost vertical inner support wall 22 gives the lower end 40 additional radial support and ensures centering them.
- One extending from the wall 22 and essentially horizontal Channel bottom 21 a goes vertically via an arcuate transition 21 running apron wall 20 over.
- step 22 On the radially inner side of step 22, 23 or ring plateau 23 is one Constant change in the thickness of the compound 11 is provided up to zero strength a circumferential low point 24a, from which the relief zone 25 continuously increasing stretches.
- the transition area from the reduced thickness of the sealant 11 is a arcuate section 24, the center of a radius of curvature above the Sealing cover is.
- FIG. 2b Elements to consider. They show the lower end of the apron wall 20 that transferred via an arcuate section 19 into a ring curl 18, the inner end 17 is that for the formation of cams in the area shown is reshaped accordingly.
- the radial dimension of the sealant 11, which is reduced in thickness, is somewhat less than the radial dimension of the remaining sealant 10 radially outside the stacking zone. The steadily decreasing strength of the sealant radially within the Stack plateau 23 is not taken into account.
- the closure is manufactured in such a way that the channel region 24a to 21st is first molded in order to then be covered with sealant. Is possible also the production so that an initially completely U-shaped Channel area, without the gradation 22.23 is then covered with sealant subsequently create an indentation in the sealing area, under Compression of the initially thicker and already hardened sealant in the stacking zone.
