Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for the artificial simulation of a fire.
- a device for the artificial simulation of a fire there is in particular an artificial fireplace referred to, which can be inserted into the fireplace of an open fireplace, if fire regulations and / or environmental laws prevent the operation of no longer allow open fireplaces or the user of such Fire place an artificial fire instead of an open fire in his room prefers.
- a device known from GB patent 2 240 171 has a housing, in which an artificial fuel bed for fire simulation and in the Visible area reflected, moved, especially stripes, tongues or lobe-like flame simulation elements are provided. About at least The fuel bed and the light source within the housing Flame simulation elements illuminated.
- the flap-like flame simulation elements arranged by are illuminated below.
- a fan is provided which flows against the elements in their longitudinal direction and thereby ensures a flickering flutter movement.
- the image of this fluttering Tongues are reflected over translucent or transparent glass panes, so that the image of the fluttering tongues come out of the fuel bed seems.
- a device for flame simulation is known from GB-A-2 298 073, which has a housing in which an artificial fire simulation Fuel bed is arranged. Be on a reflective surface Flame simulation elements in the form of rigid film strips over a Mirrored light source. The reflective surface is behind the Fuel bed. The film-like, rigid strips are on one rotating support element. However, this is only an artificial one Flame simulation can be generated.
- the flame simulation elements are strip-like and also rigid, so that it is only an artificial one Flame pattern can be generated.
- This known device is disadvantageous in that the flame simulation can only produce a fairly one-sided and unrealistic picture.
- the invention has for its object a device with the features to develop the preamble of claim 1 such that the Flame simulation appears more lively, versatile and realistic.
- the essence of the invention is considered to be the support for the strip-like, tongue-like or flap-like or otherwise formed flame simulation elements continuously or move discontinuously.
- a motor drive is provided for this.
- the motor drive of the carrier element ensures that others, also continuously differently shaped or colored flame simulation elements reflected can be, whereas in the prior art always the disadvantage same flame simulation elements in their different stages of movement as Picture can be seen.
- the image of the flame simulation elements is thus more colorful, more varied and the Overall flame simulation more pleasant for the viewer.
- different red, yellow, green or blue colored flame simulation elements in to move the reflection area causing a color variation of the flames is switched on, off or without differently colored lighting sources must be dimmed.
- Flame simulation elements it is also possible to have different lengths or shapes Flame simulation elements to be used, so that once large flames and once only small flames seem to knock out of the fuel bed.
- Different motor drives are conceivable, e.g. a warm air engine, which is advantageous can then be used when the device with a heat source is provided.
- Hydraulic drives or winding motors with spring windings are also available or weight lift possible.
- the carrier element can be designed in the manner of a rotating roller.
- Such one Device is easy to manufacture and drive.
- the flame simulation elements will lie on the surface of the roller in the upper area of the rotating roller and then pulled by gravity from the surface of the roller so that they make a sudden movement. If this is shown in the image, a particularly lively flame picture is then achieved.
- the carrier element is also possible to design the carrier element as a circumferential band. Thereby the area of the support element is enlarged, so that more and different flame simulation elements can be arranged on the surface of the carrier element.
- drum or wheel-like carrier elements on one motor-driven shaft to arrange or several drum or wheel-like support elements to be stored on one axis and to be driven separately or in groups.
- the drive in the latter solution it does not take place via the axis, but e.g. peripheral by motor Individual drives that are arranged above or behind the support elements so that they not be reflected.
- the carrier elements it is also possible for the carrier elements to have different rotational speeds or to drive different directions of rotation, which causes the flame pattern becomes even more varied. Also a rotating oscillating or back and forth Drive is basically possible.
- the carrier element in the manner of a rotating one Form camshaft so that the flame simulation elements from the axis of rotation have different distances, which in turn means different speeds of movement the flame simulation elements (depending on the distance of the axis of rotation) be achieved.
- a drum with different diameters in sections is conceivable within the scope of the invention.
- the carrier element with a rotating movement axial offset or oscillation movement. This can be achieved that the carrier element is mounted on a shaft which against spring force by a certain amount Amount is axially displaceable. A cam drive can then be attached to one end of the shaft be provided at different speeds or depending on one Backstage guide a reciprocating offset movement of the support element worried.
- the motor drive connected to a random generator for speed variation be so that the carrier elements are driven slowly and then quickly again become.
- a reflective element arranged, preferably there are several reflective slanted discs one above the other, which also have different angles of inclination can, so that from different viewing angles a plurality of each Flame simulation elements are projected onto the fuel bed.
- panes are curved or domed, a negative effect is avoided, which occurs when the viewer paces back and forth in front of the device and looks at the image of the flame simulation elements. With flat glass panes, this would namely hike back and forth, however, if the glass panes are curved, this becomes back and forth flame effect suppressed.
- the program control input elements can be provided, such as program selector switches, speed controllers, Brightness control and the like ..
- a diffuser disc improves the optical quality of the reflection reached, which is arranged under the carrier element.
- the device 1 has a housing 2 in which an artificial one for fire simulation Fuel bed 3, moving flame simulation elements reflected in the viewing area 4 5 and light sources 6, 7 for illuminating the fuel bed 3 and Flame simulation elements 5 are arranged.
- a viewing window 9 On the front side 8 of the housing 2 there is a viewing window 9, which has a pane 10 can be closed.
- a moving Carrier element 11 which is designed in the manner of a rotating roller 12 and is mounted on a shaft 13 which rotates by a motor, not shown, i.e. is driven in the direction of arrow 14.
- the disks 17, e.g. consisting of plastic or glass, can have different angles of inclination 18 to the horizontal and thereby create a multiple image of the Flame simulation elements 5 even at different viewing heights.
- the carrier element 11 is, however, a circumferential band 20, which is on a plurality of Rollers 21 is mounted, one of which is motor-driven.
- the band 20 is mounted on the rollers 21.
- the drive 19 drives one the rollers 21 on.
- a shaft 30 is provided on which eccentrically arranged Cam elements 31 are located, on which in turn the flame simulation elements 5 are attached.
- the carrier element 11 according to the drawing. 6 largely corresponds to the carrier element 11 according to the drawing. 3.
- the shaft 13 is laterally displaceable against spring force.
- An eccentric motor 40 is located on the side opposite the drive 19 provided, which drives a non-circular backdrop 41, the free cam end 42 of the shaft 13 applied and thereby ensures a movement of the roller 12 in the direction of arrow 43.
- air outlet openings 50 are provided.
- a blower 51 blows air into the interior of the roller 12.
- the air below Overpressure flows out of the air outlet openings 50 and displaces the flame simulation elements 5 in a fluttering motion.
- the air outlet openings 50 are in the anchoring area of the flame simulation elements 5 arranged and thus flow inevitably the flame simulation elements 5.
