  • the escalator 1 is provided, as shown in Fig. 4, with a drive sprocket 23 having, for instance, 18 teeth and smaller in diameter than in a usual escalator, in the inverting part 22 of the steps 4 provided in the upper flat part 12 of the frame 2.
