Definitions
- the invention relates to a handgun system with a Handgun for firing bottle-shaped cartridges, where the handgun has a replaceable one Original barrel with cartridge chamber and a breech, the one to be able to ignite the cartridge Maximum distance from the rear end of the cartridge chamber (Generic term of claim 1).
- the bullet weight is around 3.5 g.
- Adequate muzzle energy obtaining is therefore a fairly high initial rate required which is three times the speed of sound exceeds.
- the resulting one Muzzle energy is, however, scarce and should be calculated not fall below.
- the invention would like to use a conventional military rifle equip a silencer, although it is from the above. Is unsuitable for this.
- the previous Mauser cartridge 8x57 was also modified several times, basically the cartridge with a smaller one Caliber (about 7x57) in the set up for the larger caliber Barrel can be loaded.
- Caliber about 7x57
- the usability of the weapon, especially its accuracy, is greatly reduced. For example, if the Success of a command company from the hit result of a Depends on the shot, then a reduction in Marksmanship will not be accepted; above all not if this is due to an error loading the rifle is caused.
- the invention seeks a handgun system provide that free from the above sources of interference is.
- the shoulder of the large caliber cartridge is opposite the small-caliber cartridge reset, or the large-caliber Cartridge has a small diameter on the shoulder on than the small-caliber cartridge, is so slimmer.
- the large-caliber cartridge is preferably bottle-shaped, can however only be slightly conical.
- the weapon system of the invention is first Line suitable for handguns where the barrel is easy to replace. So much for this exchange with Difficulties connected, the invention System but also used to be a number of Weapons constantly to change or from the outset for the to set up a large-caliber cartridge.
- the weapon system according to the invention preferably has a handgun designed as a gas pressure loader, where the barrel is equipped with a gas sampling device (e.g. gas hole, cylinder for gas piston).
- a gas sampling device e.g. gas hole, cylinder for gas piston.
- the change barrel has its own gas sampling device on that along with this against the existing one Run with the existing gas sampling device is exchanged. So the reduced gas pressure and changed gas pressure course in the large-caliber account worn, the floor of which is only just under Sound limit is accelerated (claim 3).
- the handgun according to the invention is preferred trained as a rapid-fire rifle (claim 4).
- This standard weapon of the soldier is particularly good for Command missions suitable because every soldier with this Weapon is most familiar.
- the large-caliber cartridge can, as already mentioned at the beginning, a bottle cartridge with little offset Neck or a conical cartridge without a neck.
- Essential is especially in the latter case that the cone angle the large-caliber cartridge case is larger than the small-caliber cartridge case so that the small-caliber cartridge, if they are faulty in the chamber for the large caliber cartridge was inserted there reliably gets stuck and doesn't fully introduce itself leaves.
- the caliber of which is somewhat smaller than the largest possible caliber, that for the large caliber Cartridge would be realized.
- Such a large-caliber projectile has because of its high Cross-sectional area only a small penetration force, but conversely a very high hold-up force on a living Body because the projectile is its entire kinetic Transfers energy to it.
- the invention proposes (Claim 5), the floor of the large caliber Pointed cartridge, although facing such a projectile a flattened or gently rounded floor has less weight, because when it hits the Bullet tip on the titanium sheet such a high cross-sectional load on that it will penetrate small areas becomes. The pushing bullet body bends the penetrated Separate with little energy loss.
- the aramid fibers do not need the full one either Cross section of the projectile to be severed but become energy-saving from the slender top of the floor as if pushed apart by a sharp needle.
- a core is preferably arranged in the floor, which forms the tip and made of hard metal (Tungsten carbide) or preferably steel. Such The tip remains almost undeformed when it hits titanium sheet and then effortlessly cuts the armaid fibers.
- FIG. 1 shows an enlarged view of a cartridge .223 Remington (5.56 x 45 mm).
- This cartridge 10 has a cartridge base 5 and one forward to one Shoulder 3 extending cartridge case 2, which is bottle-shaped there is tapered and runs into a neck 1. in the Neck 1 is a 5.56 mm bullet 7.
- the cartridge chamber 20 for receiving this small caliber Cartridge 10 can be seen in FIG. 4.
- the tolerance zone for the dimensions of the cartridge chamber 20 for Tolerance field of the cartridge 10 designed so that there is no overlap (press fit).
- Fig. 2 shows a large caliber cartridge 10 '. It becomes explicit noted that the term large caliber should only say that the cartridge 10 'a clearly has a larger caliber than the small caliber cartridge 10 Fig. 1. The term large-caliber is not here To understand the meaning of big game cartridges or the like is common in the field of long arms.
- the cartridge 10 'of FIG. 2 is the same as that of FIG. 1 a bottle-shaped cartridge. Both cartridges 10 and 10 ' have the same overall length and the same bottom formation and dimensions. You can therefore use identical magazines be accommodated.
- the cartridge case 2 'of the large caliber cartridge 10 'of FIG. 2 is shorter than that of Small caliber cartridge 10 of Fig. 1.
- the floor 7 'points has a considerable length and a caliber of 7.62 mm.
- the bullet weight can reach about 12-15 g. However, the distance between shoulder 3 'and floor 5 is in the large caliber cartridge 10 'significantly smaller than in the small-caliber cartridge 10.
- the large-caliber cartridge 10 points because of its shortened Cartridge case 2 'has a reduced interior. This accommodates the fact that the large caliber cartridge 10 'developed a lower muzzle energy and therefore less powder needed. There is therefore no need for any additional Measures will be taken to ensure that ensure proper ignition of this powder.
- FIG. 3 shows the cartridge chamber 21 'for the large caliber cartridge 10 'into which the wrong cartridge was inserted namely the small caliber cartridge 10.
- This cartridge 10 sits with her shoulder 3 in front of (shoulder 3 'the Large-caliber cartridge 10 ') corresponding constriction 23' of the Cartridge bearing 20 'and therefore projects with its base 5 back out of the cartridge chamber 20 '.
- the closure 11 of the weapon that seeks the cartridge Pushing the cartridge chamber 20 'therefore comes at a distance from the rear end of the cartridge chamber 20 'to Standstill. This distance is greater than the maximum distance, thus the axial locking game that the locked Closure 11 may still have. The closure 11 is therefore still unlocked. (Weapons for the named As is well known, cartridges .223 are always locked Weapons.) Therefore no shot can be released. (The im Closure 11 arranged firing pin can namely known only after complete locking on the The cartridge.)
- FIG. 4 shows the cartridge chamber 20 of the small caliber Normal cartridge 10, in which a large caliber cartridge 10 'was introduced.
- This large caliber cartridge 10 'sits with the tip of their projectile 7 'in that section of the cartridge chamber 20, the neck 1 of the small-caliber Cartridge 10 corresponds to or bumps with its projectile 7 'on the cartridge chamber taper 23 which the Shoulder 3 of the small-caliber cartridge 10 corresponds (as shown). Instead, the large-caliber floor 7 ' also abut the front end of the cartridge chamber 23.
- the cartridge 10 stands with the cartridge base 5 further out of the cartridge chamber 20 than the above Maximum distance corresponds.
- the Closure 11 thus comes to a stop before the cartridge 10 ' can be ignited.
- the small-caliber normal cartridge of FIG. 1 has one rounded top, like the rest of the floor 7 is formed from lead alloy and a tombac jacket is covered.
- the large-caliber cartridge of FIG. 2 on the other hand, has a slender, pointed bullet tip, which is formed by a pointed steel core 11 ' which is embedded in the middle of the remaining floor 7 '.
- This Steel core prevents floor 7 'from bulging and expands when it hits an obstacle. With such a core floor 7 'are also light Armor is still easily penetrable, in contrast about a conventional solid jacket bullet same caliber and same impact without one such core 11 '.
- the weapon system according to the invention thus enables a modern, small-caliber rapid-fire rifle too To use missions for which the use of a Muffler required and a prevention of the Missile bang is necessary. It becomes about the impact energy reached a submachine gun, but due to of the floor structure with a significantly improved Penetrating power.
