Definitions
- the invention relates to a security system for ships, especially for ferries such as ro / ro ships according to the Preamble of claim 1.
- Such a security system is for example from DE 196 10 418 A1 known.
- this well-known Security system is used to seal and connect the inflated sacks against each other and towards the wall lateral, integral with the sacks, tubular beads with Velcro elements.
- both the at least one inflatable sack as well provided the wall with a Velcro element to the inflated sack in bulkhead condition with the associated wall to connect.
- this connection can especially with a large water pressure on the at least one inflated sack of the security system Leave wishes open, which is why in the aforementioned DE 196 10 418 A1 also roller shutters or drop bars be proposed to the at least one sack in the inflated bulkhead condition against said water pressure to secure. That represents a significant constructive Effort.
- the invention is based on the object To create a security system of the type mentioned at the beginning, that simply trained a quick and safe Seal between the at least one inflated sack in bulkhead condition and the associated ship wall enables.
- the sealing device can of course not only to seal an inflated sack against the associated ship wall but also for sealing adjacent inflated bags may be provided.
- the sealing device as a dimensionally stable Boards are designed to be connected to each other by means of a Hinge are pivotally connected.
- the dimensionally stable boards can be made of metal carbon fiber reinforced plastic or any other suitable material.
- the hinge for pivotable connection of the wall mounting surface element with the bulkhead fastening surface element can be designed as a hinge band.
- this Sealing element can be a rubber strip, which is glued to the hinge.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention Security system is characterized in that the Wall fastening surface element and the bulkhead fastening surface element the sealing device of a U-shaped folded, at its distant Longitudinally sealed inflatable sealing tube is formed.
- the sealing device with an inflatable U-shaped sealing tube Cross section with respect to the sealing device Dimensionally stable boards have the advantages that the construction is simplified because a hinge is unnecessary that the seal in the hinge-like swivel range between the wall mounting surface element and the Bulkhead surface element directly and immediately is guaranteed, so that a hinge sealing element It is unnecessary that the installation of the sealing device the installation of the at least one inflatable bag the ship's security system is similar, and that the Structure and materials of the sealing device that of the at least one inflatable bag of the ship's security system are similar to what is on the Manufacturing, maintenance, care and the Spare parts procurement has a positive effect.
- Activation of the Sealing hose is carried out in an advantageous manner as that Activation of the at least one inflatable bag for example by means of compressed air, so that for the Sealing device no separate compressed air unit is required.
- Activation can be automatic, i.e. without manual operation, in the shortest possible time if necessary take place, which is advantageous from a safety point of view is.
- the one that forms the wall fastening surface element Hose section of the sealing hose can become his Attachment to the respective ship wall on the Bulkhead surface section of the sealing hose in the folded U-shaped storage position facing side a dimensionally stable fastener exhibit.
- This fastener can e.g. or a sheet of metal or the like. act with the help of Sealing hose on the corresponding ship's wall can be screwed tight, for example.
- the sealing device is U-shaped folded position of the Wall mounting and bulkhead mounting panel provided in a tear-open pack sack is.
- the sealing hose of the sealing device inflated, the bulkhead attachment sheet the pack sack tears open or blows open and in the Schott inflated sack and creates the Velcro surface elements of the bulkhead fastening surface element and the inflated sack one Make a tight, tight connection.
- Figure 1 shows schematically in a plan view Section of a ship's deck 10 with a cut drawn ship wall 12.
- an inflatable Sack 14 provided space-saving, what by the dash-dotted line is indicated.
- the inflatable sack 14 is for example with a (not shown) Compressed air source connected.
- a sealing device 16 is located on the ship wall 12 provided that a wall mounting surface element 18 and has a bulkhead fastening surface element 20 which hinged to one another by means of a hinge 22 are connected.
- the sealing device 16 is on the Ship wall 12 provided such that the hinge 22nd the inflatable bag 14 faces.
- the wall fastening surface element 18 is, for example screwed to the ship's wall 12, which is due to the short Lines 24, which indicate fastening screws, is made clear.
- the bulkhead fastening surface element 20 is on its from Wall fastening surface element 18 facing away from provided a Velcro surface element 26.
- the inflatable sack 14 is provided with a Velcro surface element 28.
- Figure 2 is an embodiment of the ship's security system shown schematically, with the assigned to the inflatable sack a sealing device is provided.
- Figure 3 illustrates schematically an embodiment of the Ship security system, in which the inflatable Sack 14, one on the front and one on the back Sealing device 16 is assigned. Same details are also in Figure 3 with the same reference numerals as in the Figures 1 and 2 designated so that it is unnecessary in Connection with Figure 3 all these details again to describe in detail.
- the wall-mounting surface element 18 and that Bulkhead panel 20 each Sealing device 16 are in accordance with the embodiments 1, 2 and 3 each as dimensionally stable boards 32 educated.
- the / each hinge 22 is flexible provided strip-shaped sealing element 34.
- FIG. 4 shows a schematic diagram similar to FIG Representation of a ship's deck 10 and a ship's wall 12 which a sealing device 16 is provided.
- a folded one inflatable bag 14 At the Ship deck 10 is a folded one inflatable bag 14, which - as in Figure 1 - by a thin dash-dotted line is indicated.
- the Sealing device 16 is of a U-shaped folded up and at its two from each other distant longitudinal ends of sealed, inflatable Sealing hose 36 formed, the one Wall fastening surface element 18 forming the first Hose section 38 and a bulkhead mounting surface section 20 forming second hose section 40 and between these two hose sections 38 and 40 has a hinge section 42.
- the first Hose section 38 of the sealing hose 36 is with the help a dimensionally stable fastening element 44 on the Ship wall 12 attached. This is used, for example Fastening screws, indicated by short lines 24 are.
- the second hose section 40 is on its from first side of the hose section 38 with a Velcro surface element 26 provided.
- the inflatable sack 14 is adapted to the Velcro surface element 26 Velcro surface element 28 provided.
- the inflatable sack 14 and the sealing tube 36 of the sealing device 16 connected to a compressed air source (not shown). In the event of danger, i.e. in the event of water ingress the inflatable bag 14 is inflated to its first Bulkhead condition.
- Figure 4 also illustrates a tear-open pack sack 46, in which the formed by the sealing tube 36 Sealing device 16 folded in a U-shape
- the sealing hose is activated 36, i.e. when introducing compressed air into the Sealing hose 36
- the stuff sack 46 by the Swinging bulkhead fastening element 20 torn open see above that the bulkhead fastening surface element 20 forming second hose section 40 of the sealing hose 36 in Direction of the curved arrow 30 around its Hinge section 42 can swing open and that on the second Hose section 40 provided Velcro surface element 26 with the Velcro surface element 28 of the Schott state located inflated bag 14 tight and sealing is connected.
