Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Abdeckvorrichtung für ein Schließzylinder (10), insbesondere an einer Fahrzeugtür (16). Ein Abdeckelement (60) ist über Führungsmittel auf einer vorgegebenen Bahn zwischen einer Offen- und einer Abdeckstellung überführbar. Die Führungsmittel umfassen ein als Schwenkhebel (70) ausgeführtes Zwischenglied, über welches das Abdeckelement (60) mittelbar und unverlierbar mit dem Gehäuse (50) verbunden ist. Der Schwenkhebel (70) ist sowohl am Gehäuse (50) als auch am Abdeckelement (60) schwenkbeweglich gelagert. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Abdeckvorrichtung für einen Schließzylinder, insbesondere an einer Fahrzeugtür gemäß dem Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1. Derartige Abdeckvorrichtungen werden, zum einen aus optischen Gründen und zum anderen als Schutz vor Verschmutzung des Schließzylinders eingesetzt.
Bei der bekannten Vorrichtung der oben genannten Art (DE 197 24 573 A1) handelt es sich um eine aufschiebbar ausgeführte Blende. Im Inneren des kappenartigen Abdeckelementes sind Vorsprünge vorgesehen, die in Nuten in der Umgebung des Schließzylinders eingreifen können und in Abdeckstellung verrasten. Nachteilig ist die leichte Verlierbarkeit des Abdeckelementes. Zur Betätigung des Schlosses mittels eines Schlüssels muss nämlich Stets das gesamte Abdeckelement vollständig von dem Gehäuse des zu betätigenden Schließzylinders getrennt werden. Über kurz oder lang ist fast zwangsläufig mit einem Verlust der Abdeckkappe zu rechnen. Zwar ließe sich Abhilfe dadurch schaffen, dass die Nuten in der Umgebung des Gehäuses mit einem Anschlag versehen werden, über den das Abdeckelement nicht hinausgeschoben werden kann, wie beispielsweise in FR 2 753 475 vorgeschlagen. Dies bringt jedoch weitere Nachteile. Hierzu wäre es nämlich notwendig, das Gehäuse extrem langgestreckt zu gestalten. Die Abdeckkappe muß nämlich durch Verschiebung den Schließzylinder sowie den zur Betätigung des Schlüssels notwendigen Platz vollständig freigeben. Gleichzeitig muß allerdings auch noch für eine ausreichende Führung und Halterung des Abdeckelementes gesorgt sein. Eine derart langgestreckte Gestaltung des Gehäuses ist platzaufwendig, optisch wenig wünschenswert und sollte daher vermieden werden.
DE-PS 802 047 und DE 297 22 438 U1 offenbaren jeweils eine Abdeckvorrichtung, bei welcher der Schlüsselschlitz des Schließzylinders durch ein im Griff integriertes, verschieblich gelagertes Abdeckplättchen abgedeckt wird. Dies bietet zwar einen effizienten Schutz gegen Verschmutzung des Schlüsselschlitzes und löst auch das Problem der Verlierbarkeit, läßt sich jedoch nicht in optisch geschlossener Form realisieren, da das Plättchen stets flach, nämlich in seiner Schiebe- bzw. Schwenkebene gelgen, zu sein hat.
Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, eine Abdeckvorrichtung der eingangs genannten Art zu entwickeln, die die vorerwähnten Nachteile überwindet. Diese Aufgabe wird gelöst durch die Merkmale des kennzeichenden Teils von Anspruch 1. Diesen kommt im Einzelnen folgende Bedeutung zu.
Eine mittelbare Verbindung zwischen dem Abdeckelement und dem Gehäuse wird durch ein bewegliches Zwischenglied realisiert, das den Führungsmitteln zuzurechnen ist, welche eine vorbestimmte Bahn für die Überführung des Abdeckelementes zwischen der Offen- und der Abdeckstellung vorsehen. Das erfindungsgemäße Zwischenglied ist als Schwenkhebel ausgeführt und kann z.B. einteilig und starr, aber auch mehrteilig ausgeführt sein. Die einzelnen, in sich vorzugsweise starren Teile können insbesondere durch Gelenke und/oder Führungselemente miteinander verbunden sein. Auf andere Weise, z.B. faden- oder drahtartig gestaltete Zwischenelemente würden eine unkontrollierte Bewegung des Abdeckelementes ermöglichen. Solche Zwischenelemente können bei gelöster Abdeckkappe zu Lackschäden führen. Durch seine Formgebung als Schwenkebel ist das erfindungsgemäße Zwischenglied ist geeignet, den vom Abdeckelement bei der Überführung von der einen in die andere Stellung zurückzulegenden Weg über die eigentlichen Abmessungen des Abdeckelementes und/oder des Gehäuses hinaus zu verlängern. Damit kann der für die Betätigung des Schließzylinders notwendige Freiraum geschaffen werden ohne das Gehäuse und/oder das Abdeckelement störend langgestreckte zu gestalten. Die Verwendung des erfindungsgemäßen Schwenkhebel-Zwischengliedes bietet sich besonders an, wenn die Schließeinheit aus Schließzylinder 10 und Gehäuse 50 in einer Vertiefung 17 des Türflügels 16 vorgesehen ist. Dann nämlich ist ein reines Verschieben des Abdeckelementes 16, wie aus dem Stand der Technik bekannt, unmöglich.
Weitere Vorteile der Erfindung ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen, der speziellen Beschreibung sowie den Zeichnungen. Es zeigen

Die Fign. 1 bis 4 geben eine besonders vorteilhafte Ausführungsform der erfindungsgemäßen Abdeckvorrichtung wieder. Sie läßt sich in im wesentlichen bekannte Systeme, bestehend aus Türflügel 16, Handhabe 14, Schließzylinder 10 mit Schlüsselschlitz 11 und Schließgehäuse 50 integrieren. Das Schlüsselgehäuse läßt sich in einen im Türflügel 16 versenkten Gehäuseschaft 51 und einen von außen sichtbaren Gehäusekopf 52 unterteilen In der Abdeckstellung deckt das Abdeckelement 60 den Schließzylinder 10 mit Schlüsselschlitz 11 sowie den Gehäusekopf 52 vollständig ab. In der Offenstellung, in welche das Abdeckelement 60 auf vorbestimmter Bahn überführbar ist, sind der Schlüsselschlitz 11 vollständig und der Schließzylinder 10 sowie der Gehäusekopf 52 wenigstens soweit freigelegt, dass eine Betätigung des Schließmechanismus vermittels eines Schlüssels 12 ermöglicht wird. D.h. ein Schlüsselschaft 13 muß in den Schlüsselschlitz 11 einführbar sein und auch für die Drehung des Schlüsselschgriffes muß genügend Raum zur Verfügung stehen.
Deutlich erkennbar in den Fign. 1 bis 4 ist die Ausgestaltung des Zwischengliedes als Schwenkhebel. Der Schwenkhebel 70 ist mit Schwenkachsen 73, 74 versehen, die einerseits in Schwenklagern 54 am Gehäusekopf 52 und andererseits Schwenklager 64 im Abdeckelement 60 gelagert sind. Die in den Fig. 1 bis 4 gezeigte Ausführungsform weist eine flache Gestaltung des Schwenkhebels 70 auf, wobei sich an einen Steg 71 Ausleger 72 anschließen, welche in die Schwenkachsen 73, 74 übergehen. Aus Gründen der Materialersparnis ist diese Formgebung besonders günstig. Andere, die ihrer Wirkung äquivalente Formgebungen sind selbstverständlich möglich.
Die Schwenklager 54, 64 bzw. die entsprechenden Vorrichtungen im Abdeckelement 60 sind jeweils in der Nähe derjenigen Enden des Gehäusekopfes 52 bzw. des Abdeckelementes 60 angeordnet, die in Offenstellung einander zugewandt sind. Gleichzeitig ist die gesamte Länge des Schwenkhebels 70 so bemessen, dass er kürzer ist als die Distanz zwischen den Schwenklagern 64 im Abdeckelement 60 und der vorderen Abschlusswand 62 des Abdeckelementes 60. Hierdurch wird ermöglicht, dass das Abdeckelement 60 in Abdeckstellung den gesamten Gehäusekopf 52 einschließlich Schließzylinder 10 mit Schlüsselschlitz 11 und den gesamten Schwenkhebel 70 abdeckt. Gleichzeitig ist in Offenstellung das Abdeckelement 60so weit vom Gehäusekopf 52 entfernbar, dass der gesamte Schließzylinder 10 mit Schlüsselschlitz 11 freigegeben wird, womit der Freiraum zur Betätigung des Schlüssels 12 maximiert wird. Aus ästhetischen Gründen ist es vorteilhaft, die der vorderen Abschlußwand 62 des Abdeckelementes 60 gegenüberliegende Begrenzung mit einer Ausnehmung 61 zu versehen, durch welche der Schwenkhebel 70 in der Offenstellung hindurchgreift. Hierdurch kann das Abdeckelement 60 in Offenstellung mit wenigstens dem größten Teil seiner unteren Berandung auf dem Türflügel 16 aufsetzen. Die untere Berandung kann mit einer weichen Dichtlippe versehen sein, was in Abdeckstellung dem Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit entgegenwirkt und in Offenstellung einen Schutz des Lacks gewährleistet.
In der gezeigten Ausführungsform sind die Schwenklager 64 im Inneren des Abdeckelementes 60 angebracht. Hierdurch wird die vollständige Abdeckung des Schwenkhebels in Abdecklage ermöglicht. Grundsätzlich wäre es jedoch auch denkbar, diese Schwenklager außen am Abdeckelement 60 anzubringen.
Um ein unbeabsichtigtes Überführen des Abdeckelementes 60 von der Abdeck- in die Offenstellung, etwa durch Vibrationen während der Fahrt, zu verhindern, sind bei der gezeigten Ausführungsform Rastelemente vorgesehen. Eine Rastnut 53 umläuft den Gehäusekopf 52. In Abdeckstellung greift eine korrespondierende Rastwulst 63 in die Nut 53 ein. Andere Rastvorrichtungen, etwa separate Rastnasen an ausgewählten Stellen sind denkbar.
Natürlich stellen die gezeigten Ausführungsformen lediglich vorteilhafte Beispiele für die erfindungsgemäße Abdeckvorrichtung dar, die jedoch weitere, von Anspruch 1 erfasste Ausführungsformen nicht ausschließen.

Claims (6)

  1. Abdeckvorrichtung für einen Schließzylinder (10), insbesondere an einer Fahrzeugtür (16), der in einem relativ zu ihm feststehenden Gehäuse (50) gelagert ist,
    mit einem zwischen einer Offenstellung und einer Abdeckstellung verstellbaren, unverlierbar angeordneten, kappenartigen Abdeckelement (60), das in der Abdeckstellung den Schließzylinder (10) von außen abdeckt und in der Offenstellung eine Schlüsselöffnung (11) des Schließzylinders (10) freigibt,
    wobei die Überführung des Abdeckelementes (60) von der einen in die andere Stellung auf einer von Führungsmitteln festgelegten Bahn erfolgt,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
    die Führungsmittel einen sowohl am Abdeckelement (70) als auch am Gehäuse (50) beweglich gelagerten Schwenkhebel (70) umfassen, über welchen das Abdeckelement (60) mittelbar mit dem Gehäuse (50) verbunden ist.
  2. Abdeckvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Schwenkhebel (70) jeweils nahe der in Offenstellung einander zugewandten Endbereiche des Gehäuses (50) und des Abdeckelementes (60) gelagert ist.
  3. Abdeckvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein oder mehrere Schwenklager zur beweglichen Lagerung des Schwenkhebels im Innern des Abdeckelementes (60) vorgesehen sind.
  4. Abdeckvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Länge des Schwenkhebels (70) kürzer bemessen ist als die Distanz zwischen dem/den Schwenklager/n im Innern des Abdeckelementes (60) und dem in Offenstellung gehäusefernen Ende des Abdeckelementes (60).
  5. Abdeckvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Schwenkhebel (70) in Abdeckstellung vollständig von dem Abdeckelement (60) verdeckt ist.
  6. Abdeckvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an dem Abdeckelement (60) eine Rastvorrichtung (63) vorgesehen ist, die in der Abdeckstellung mit einer korrespondierenden Rastvorrichtung (53) des Gehäuses (50) verrasten kann.
