Definitions
- the invention relates to an attachment device for gas removal automatic weapon, in particular an attachment device, which a automatic loading of the weapon even when firing lighter practice ammunition allowed.
- the gas piston transmits this movement by means of an attached to it Drive rod on the breech of the automatic weapon, so that the return of the Closure is made. With the return the closure pulls the empty one Cartridge case from the barrel so that an ejector can evaluate it from the weapon can. In addition, the closure tensions the tap and the Closing spring. In the rearmost position of the movement, the lock runs against a buffer and there is a reversal of movement, so that the closure again is pushed forward. This is done by the closing spring force. in the Closure advance is the next cartridge from the closure from the magazine pushed and inserted into the barrel. Closes in its front end position Closes the rear barrel, so that when the cartridge is detonated, none Combustion gases can escape from the back of the barrel.
- the invention is based, even when shooting Practice ammunition to enable the self-loading process of the automatic weapon.
- the attachment device has a closing member which in the Gas outflow opening of the gas supply engages and its cross-section is reduced, so that the combustion gas flows out throttled.
- the term cross-sectional reduction here also includes the complete closing of the gas outflow opening, ie one Reduction of the cross section to zero.
- the closing element preferably has a gas take-off with the surroundings connecting outlet, the diameter or shape of which Outflow behavior of the combustion gases and thus the pressure curve at the gas piston certainly.
- the closing member can also completely close the gas outflow opening, for example when very light practice ammunition is used. In this case the combustion gas flows after pushing the gas piston backwards back into the barrel. That which completely closes the gas outflow opening Closing element can also be biased against the gas outflow opening with a spring be so that the pressure curve acting on the gas piston by the spring force is determined.
- the spring force can be adjusted by an adjusting screw acting on the spring be adjusted to change the pressure history conditions, such as for example to be able to adapt to a heated barrel.
- a guide part of the attachment device holding the closing member on a bayonet holder on the front of the barrel automatic weapon attached is arranged.
- the attachment to the Bayonet holder attaches directly to the heated barrel of the automatic weapon avoided.
- the closing member can also have a holding element with which it is attached to the Gas supply is attached.
- a guide part is not essential necessary or can be made very small.
- the invention also includes an automatic weapon with the previously described Attachment devices.
- Figure 1 is only a section of the automatic weapon from the front Area of barrel 1 shown. In the illustration in Figure 1, the would not Connect the shown automatic weapon breech to barrel 1 on the right, while the muzzle end of barrel 1 would be shown on the left, so that a projectile from barrel 1 to barrel 1 in the representation of FIG would go through.
- Run 1 is drawn in a partial sectional view; is in the broken area to recognize the interior 2 of the barrel, as well as the tube wall of the barrel 1 penetrating branch channel 3, which is perpendicular to the interior 2 of the barrel 1st runs.
- a gas take-off 4 on barrel 1 attached, for example by a pin connection.
- the gas take-off 4 points also on a branch channel 5, the extension of the branch channel 3 with the same diameter is arranged.
- On the branch duct 5 of the gas take-off 4 is followed by a cylindrical cavity 6 of the gas take-off 4.
- the cavity 6 runs parallel to the interior 2 of the barrel 1
- the end 6 shown on the right in FIG. 1 initially runs cylindrical.
- a gas piston 8 is arranged, the cavity 6, that is two cylindrical areas and the conical area connecting them completely filled out.
- the gas piston 8 has a Drive rod 9 connected to the breech of the automatic weapon acts so that when the gas piston 8 is shifted to the right, the closure runs back.
- a bayonet holder 10 is attached to the front area of the barrel 1.
- the bayonet holder 10th encloses and has an area 12 running above the barrel 1 which extends to to the gas outflow opening 7 of the gas take-off 4 and reach this in the area of Gas outflow opening 7 is plugged.
- the attachment device 11 has an in In the longitudinal direction of the barrel 1 extending guide area 13, the one Encloses recess 14, in which a closing member 15 is located.
- the closing member 15 has a first cylindrical region 16, the tip of which 16a engages in the gas outflow opening 7 of the gas take-off 4. At the tip 16a End facing away from the first cylindrical region 16 closes a second cylindrical region 17 of the closing member 15, one compared to the first area 16 has an enlarged diameter. In this area, too Recess 14 of the guide area 13 enlarged accordingly and with a Thread.
- the second cylindrical region 17 of the closing element 15 has an external thread which is connected to the thread of the recess 14 engages so that the closing member 15 by turning to the gas outlet 4 or can be moved away from it. Outside of the guide area 13, the Closing member 15 adjoins the second cylindrical region 17 Head 18 with which the closing member 15 can be rotated in the thread.
- a central longitudinal outlet opening 19 runs through the closing member 15 full length, ie through the two cylindrical regions 16, 17 and the head 18, see above that the gas discharge opening 7 is connected to the environment.
- the diameter of the Outlet opening 19 is smaller than the diameter of the gas outlet opening 7 Gas withdrawal 4.
- the outlet opening 19th has a reduced diameter compared to the gas outflow opening 7, can the combustion gas does not escape so quickly, so that the pressure on the Gas piston 8 is maintained over a longer period of time, which leads to that even when using lighter practice ammunition the gas pistons 8 in far enough
- the direction of the shutter is moved to fully retract the shutter to let, so that the self-loading process of the automatic weapon takes place.
- FIG. 2 shows a second exemplary embodiment of the invention. It differs from the first embodiment in that the closing member 15 has no outlet opening.
- the components have the same reference numerals featured.
- the closing member 15 blocks the Gas discharge opening 7 of the gas take-off 4 completely, so that with one shot Combustion gas cannot escape from the gas discharge opening 7, causing a higher gas pressure in the gas takeoff 4 in comparison to the first exemplary embodiment is built, so that even with lighter bullets one for the Self-loading process sufficient return of the gas piston 8 is guaranteed.
- the combustion gas passes through the branch channels 5 and 3 in the interior 2 of the barrel 1, where it is to the Environment can get.
- FIG 3 a third embodiment of the attachment device 11 is shown, the similar to that of Figure 2.
- the closing member 15 in turn has a first one cylindrical region 16, which in this exemplary embodiment does not have a tip, but has a flat face.
- the end face of the cylindrical Area 16 has a larger diameter than the gas discharge opening 7, so that this is completely closed by the adjacent closing member 15.
- the closing member 15 of the third embodiment is compared to the Closing members of the first two exemplary embodiments are shorter; reached not up to the threaded area of the recess 14.
- a screwable sleeve 20 is arranged, which holds a compression spring 21 acting in the longitudinal direction.
- the one shown in the figure on the left front end of the compression spring 21 is supported on the sleeve 20, while the opposite end engages the locking pin 15 and this against the Gas withdrawal 4 presses.
- the sleeve 20 has notches 20a so that the sleeve 20th can be rotated, for example by means of a screwdriver, whereby the acting on the closing member 15 spring force is adjustable.
- the guide area 13 of the attachment device 11 has a side opening 22, which branches off from the recess 14 in an area close to the Gas outflow opening 7 of the gas outlet 4 is so that the side opening 22 with the Recess 14 connects when the closing member 15 so far forward is pressed that it compresses the spring 21.
- the pressure flowing through the branch channels 3, 5 presses Combustion gas first moves the gas piston 8 to the left until the gas outflow opening 7 with the branch channels 5.3. Now the pressure of the Combustion gas on the end face of the closing member 15 and presses it against the force of the spring 21 forward until the side opening 22 is released, whereby the combustion gas can flow into the environment.
- the pressure curve acting on the gas piston 8 can be adjusted so that it is ensured that there is a pressure curve for the type of ammunition used, which is sufficient to move the gas piston 8 back so far that the Self-loading process of the automatic weapon is carried out.
- the fourth exemplary embodiment of the invention shown in FIG. 4 corresponds to essential to the embodiment of Figure 2. Also in the fourth Exemplary embodiment blocks the closing member 15 with a tip 16a Gas discharge opening 7 of the gas take-off 4 completely.
- the closing member 15 is in a guide area 11 which is attached to the bayonet holder 10 Attachment device 11 out.
- the guide area 13 and the closing member 15 have a thread in this section, so that the closing member 15 with a Knurled nut trained head 18 can be manually adjusted so that it is on the Gas withdrawal 4 to or from it can be moved.
- the closing member 15 has a holding element 23 in the form of a lengthwise direction extending cylinder wall, which surrounds each tip 16a and in Exceeds longitudinal direction, and the outer wall of the gas discharge opening 7 is sealed encompasses so that guidance is given.
- the axial length of the holding member 23 is dimensioned such that it is also on the outer wall of the gas discharge opening 7 rests when the tip 16a is no longer engaged in the gas outflow opening.
- the wall of the holding member 23 may be perforated.
