Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for producing a metal foil / fabric composite; it concerns in particular the use of such a composite for roller shutters, in which a number of roller shutter bars spaced apart on a flexible fabric sheet are arranged, and the application of the invention for one roller shutters made from it.
- Transversely rigid metal profiles are used for roller shutters, which are connected to one another in an articulated manner and via a winding device be wound up on a shaft and unwound from it can.
- the metal profiles with in the longitudinal direction of the roller shutter running hinges are glued.
- DE 31 04 048 A1 also teaches the articulated connection of the metal profiles with a continuous, flexible web made of a textile fabric on the To assemble the membrane and also glue it on.
- DE-GM 77 15 415 is a rigid, flat material on the back with parallel to each other and to the axis of the winding shaft of the roller shutter provided stiffening bars, the stiffening bars with a sheet of self-adhesive, flat material on one Screen are attached.
- DE 39 12 528 C2 also known a roller blind, in which the roller stiffening elements on a Roller blinds made of flexible fabric are glued.
- suitable fabric has a high weather resistance, it is sensitive to sunlight (heat, UV light), moisture and frost. It is as impermeable as possible and preferably has little or no water absorption. It is still resistant to aging and flexible. It has one high resistance to bending changes, even at temperatures below 0 ° C. It is preferably dirt-repellent. It has a high static and dynamic strength, so that it can also withstand special loads can. Furthermore, it should be easy to recycle.
- notch insensitivity An important property of the fabric is the notch insensitivity. that means that the fabric has a notch effect on the textile fibers, caused by the edges of the roller shutter slats or the these shutter slats forming slats. particularly resistant should be. This reduces the risk of tissue damage through notch effects when bending, that is, when winding and unwinding the Roller shutter curtain, significantly reduced on the edges, in addition can these edges by deburring, rounding or touching before joining and gluing the individual elements of the roller shutter curtain considerably be reduced. "Tear stoppers" are advantageous in textile fabrics provided that in the event of partial damage to the Tear through the remaining tissue structure largely prevent.
- a braid can be made from a very fine Stainless steel wire can be viewed as such a braid very much is flexible and cut-resistant and therefore high burglary resistance and has high strength.
- Such a stainless steel wire braid is also corrosion-resistant.
- fabrics made of synthetic materials are ideal. Easy to stick and also recyclable are acrylic fabrics, polyester fabrics, Polyamide fabrics, carbon fabrics, all of which have a high to very high strength and have good weather resistance, with carbon fiber fabric have very good strength values, but relatively are expensive. It is also conceivable to make a fabric from different Combine materials into a blended fabric. Although are also basically fabrics made from natural fibers (hemp, jute, cotton, Sisal, etc.), but these materials are only limited weatherproof.
- the adhesive applied to the metal and / or the fabric is in the later handling of the preliminary product is not critical since it is dry and is not sticky.
- the adhesive only gets activated by later activation its adhesive properties.
- an adhesive layer can be applied directly to the metal or tissue.
- This coating is in the course of a later handling of the intermediate products created in this way are not a hindrance since they are at room temperature does not stick.
- the later manufacture of semi-finished products from these intermediate products for example that Punching out molded parts or surface elements from the metal or the fabric, as well as the assembly into semi-finished products without any problems as no glue has to be handled.
- Finally there is also no risk of contamination when applying adhesive can hardly be dealt with in the course of gluing and not only is manufacturing time saved, but also manufacturing costs.
- Thermoplastics are an example of an adhesive suitable, that is, substances caused by heating when gluing and / or pressing can be activated, and by the following Cooling can be deactivated.
- temperature activatable materials at higher temperature soften and become sticky (e.g. copolymers, polyethylene, Polyurethanes etc.) that like a liquid lacquer, as a film or by means of an extruder onto the metal or the fabric web can be applied.
- PVC-based adhesives or plastisol systems are suitable in principle with sufficient UV resistance, because they give good adhesion between the metal and the fabric.
- Adhesive systems have particularly good properties Polyurethane-based, because on the one hand they have high weather resistance have and on the other hand still relatively in the cured state have good elastic properties.
- the adhesive can also be applied at the same time as one to be applied Coating done, but also after application of the adhesive can then be applied. Because the glue at Room temperature is not sticky, it can only be done by heat or by If the pressure is reactivated, the web coated in this way can be reactivated wound up and stored wound up.
- the so created Aluminum pre-product that is one-sided with a reactivable adhesive is coated and already on the other side, the visible side has a decorative coating in the desired manner, can be used until further processing - if necessary also in another production facility - be kept.
- the fabric can also be coated with glue the coil coating method is to be preferred here.
- the adhesive e.g. with rollers, Squeegee, screen or screen printing, spray application (preferably computer-controlled).
- Such connections can be stored without exposure to heat: simply Heating the adhesive is activated, the heating after the Joining takes place so that the parts to be connected are already are in their end position and are glued in this position.
- the Hardening is advantageously carried out here by controlled cooling, which prevents shock cooling and ensures that the curing takes place on the adhesive.
- To connect the Activating will keep parts in their specified position and / or curing the assembled semi-finished products advantageously made under pressure.
- the activation and / or curing take place under mutual pressing of the assembled semi-finished products under Print. This creates a reliably fixed and durable adhesive connection created.
- This metal and / or tissue thus prepared is then processed and thus becomes a prefabricated semi-finished product, which in turn can be kept in stock.
- the semi-finished products are taken from the warehouse or immediately after applying the adhesive to the processing station fed. There they will meet the needs put together so that they are in the area of the contact surfaces mutual contact. In this state the glue is activated the gluing takes place, and after curing the glue can the finished product can be removed.
- the contact surfaces are advantageous before applying the adhesive with an application of an adhesion promoter Mistake. This creates a more intimate connection between Adhesive and metal or fabric surface made, which is security adhesion of the adhesive application increased.
- the metal part is embossed. Pressing, deep drawing, roll forming or the like. deformed in the desired manner. This deformation can take place before joining, so that after the finished form is available after assembly and gluing. Alternatively the deformation can also take place after gluing and after hardening of the glue respectively.
- the deformation process is essentially advantageous carried out simultaneously with the gluing. It will be used to manufacture the moldings made of a metal / fabric composite which preferably flat semi-finished products heated after assembly and deformed at the same time. For this purpose, the coated metal parts Gluing applied to the fabric web and in a gluing press introduced with a heated mold in which the gluing and Deformation takes place.
- the molding tool is advantageously designed such that it can also be cooled is.
- the adhesive is activated and the adhesive is applied.
- the molding tool also causes the desired deformation, essentially also with gluing.
- the adhesive pressure also acts as Deformation pressure, there is no separate work step for the deformation.
- the ability to cool down also makes the adhesive harden after the end of the manufacturing steps in the mold.
- the process for the production on which the invention is generally based a composite of a metal and a fabric allows that Manufacture of a metal with a fabric, for example, by Coating aluminum with a textile a higher strength or an improved surface finish can be achieved. So can, for example, the stone chip resistance of a wheel arch in the Automobile construction by coating the metal surface with a fabric be improved by the method according to the invention. Can too by coating a metal sheet with a fabric, the structure-borne vibration properties of the metal sheet improved are achieved, so that an improved sound or noise damping is achieved become.
- Metal parts can also be partially coated with tissue in order to for example mechanical properties of a metal sheet. for example in areas. in which higher forces in or through the metal part must be directed. to improve. Also can by partial Coatings or bonds of a metal part with a Fabric according to the method of the present invention has acoustic properties of the metal, for example sound reflections and structure-borne noise be improved.
- a particularly preferred application for the method according to the invention is the production of a roller shutter curtain.
- roller shutter systems interfere with many applications due to the large bale conditional large roller shutter boxes; the relatively large winding diameter with conventional roller shutter curtains is due to the space requirement of the double-walled hook and counter-hook of hollow-section rods for Roller shutter armor caused.
- small roller shutter boxes are preferred for optical reasons; here the roller shutter is made using a fabric-bound roller shutter shell made of the invention.
- the shutter diameter of the wound roller shutter armor can be significantly reduced. As a result this results in a significantly smaller space requirement for the roller shutter box.
- This is particularly advantageous for roller shutters for roof windows and when renovating old buildings with small lintels and further Shading systems for winter gardens.
- roller shutter curtain in particular manufactured by the method according to the invention.
- being single shutter slats are glued next to each other on a fabric web.
- the roller shutter slats are formed by two lamellas, an outer and an inner lamella that enclose the fabric web between them. The roller shutter slats are thus sandwich-like.
- roller shutter curtain manufactured according to the invention
- S-shaped roller shutter slats or in hollow section slats existing hook and counter hook through the between two roller shutter bars existing, emerging between the inner lamella and outer lamella Fabric strips replaced; there between adjacent roller shutter slats the fabric strip forms a small space the necessary hinge.
- a number of roller shutter slats are used glued spaced apart on a flexible fabric web.
- the roller shutter material and / or the flexible fabric web on a contact surface using the coil coating method an easily reactivated adhesive coated, the roller shutter material and / or the flexible fabric web to give semi-finished products Length and / or width is cut, the semi-finished products from roller shutter material at a predetermined distance on the fabric web are applied and taking the semi-finished products under Activation and curing of the adhesive can be glued together.
- the method according to the invention can make the semi-finished products from roller shutter material before application be formed into roller shutter bars on the fabric web.
- the semi-finished products from roller shutter material at the same time can be formed into roller shutter bars by gluing with the fabric web.
- the deformation process and the gluing process also take place carried out at the same time and thus an additional work step saved.
- the shape of the Roller shutter slats even after the semi-finished products have been glued and hardened made of roller shutter material with the fabric web.
- Semi-finished products are used to manufacture a shell for roller shutters made of roller shutter material - generally aluminum - in the form of slats preformed.
- Roll formers are preferably used for preforming. These pre-deformed slats are in the desired position placed on the fabric web, with the facing each other Pages are provided with the adhesive application.
- undeformed ones Semi-finished products from the roller shutter material applied the are in training at the same time as the application to the Fabric web to the slats forming the shutter slats in the desired Way deformed. With another training, the Semi-finished products made of roller shutter material applied to the fabric web and at the same time with the gluing to the shutter bars forming slats deformed.
- the pre-deformed or undeformed Semi-finished products after cutting and / or the fabric web with the application of an activatable or a reactivatable adhesive placed on top of each other in such a way that the contact surfaces are in Come into contact, so that the slats acting as shutter slats are in the desired position.
- the adhesive When using undeformed lamellas, the adhesive is bonded in one Press that deforms the slats when glued. To do this, the glue at the fabric web with the applied in the desired positions Slats activated in this position, so that on the Fixed webs fixed to the slats. After gluing the adhesive hardens, after which the roller shutter curtain is ready for installation is present, which is formed by the fabric web on which the slats forming the shutter slats lie side by side and on these are glued on.
- roller shutter slats are a roller shutter curtain formed by an outer lamella and an inner lamella, the congruent from both sides in a symmetrical arrangement are attached to the fabric sheet.
- the slat strips forming the slats can be the same for the outside and for the inside Dimensions, but also different dimensions (width and / or Thickness) or have different profile geometries (e.g. if the outer slats (outside of the roller shutter curtain) partially overlapping like a scale and should form a closed surface.
- the fabric web enclosed by the lamellae glued on both sides see above that sandwich-like structured roller shutter slats are formed.
- the parts attached in this way are fixed and under temperature and with Pressure, for which a press is advantageously used, by activation of the adhesive bonded together. Then the adhesive is cured, generally by cooling. Reactive adhesives are made using cured at a high temperature and then cooled. After that the press used for this process step is opened again, and the shutter armor made in this way can be removed.
- This fabric web can continue in the manufacturing process in the gluing cycle be moved so that a relatively long track of a roller shutter curtain can be produced and possibly wound up into a large bale. From this track can then be used for the roller shutter curtain to be manufactured length cut for a window or a door and in the roller shutters are installed.
- the proposed design allows a very economical production, it increases the roller shutter stability e.g. regarding wind pressure. Snow and ice load, and also improves burglary security.
- An (endless) aluminum strip that can be used in a strip coating system if required after degreasing and pretreatment before further treatment provide the desired visible coating on the later visible side on its other side, which later faces the tissue an adhesive application.
- a coil coating process is advantageous for this purpose used, in which the tape material is peeled from the roll, coated and can be rewound; are particularly suitable here Coil coating glue, with which short and therefore efficient bonding times and thus dwell times in the adhesive press are reached become. Applying the adhesive to the metal sheet, in particular, if it is made of aluminum, it is preferably done using an adhesion promoter or primer.
- the adhesive-coated metal sheet and the (if necessary also adhesive-coated) fabric web are storable and transportable and can turn semi-finished products into other manufacturing facilities if required to be processed further.
- the metal track cut metal strips which later became roller shutter bars or serve as slats to be joined to form roller shutter bars.
- the fabric web is, for example, one for the one to be manufactured Roller shutter curtain cut to the required size.
- metal strips that cover the slats 2 form, at a predetermined distance from and parallel to each other, applied next to each other on the fabric web 6, the adhesive layer 2 'of the slats 2 of the fabric web 6 or their adhesive-coated side is facing. More slats 4 can be arranged on the opposite side of the fabric tape 6, the adhesive-coated side 4 'facing the fabric tape 6 is.
- the slats 2 and 4 are congruent arranged on both sides of the fabric web 6; so symmetrical Arranged, the parts are then fixed so that two are assigned to each other Slats 2 and 4, one on the top of the fabric tape 6, one on its underside, essentially congruent one above the other Hold the fabric tape 6 horizontally.
- the press tool of the adhesive press can be on the top and on the Have underside shaped segments, so that 2 or 4 a separate form element, e.g. for the upper lamella 4 a convex for the concave shaped element provided under lamella 2 is so that each through the upper slat 4 and the lower slat 2 formed roller shutter rod, which integrates the fabric web 6, in cross section, that is curved at right angles to its longitudinal axis is.
- the respective shape segments on the top and bottom of the pressing tool are preferably heatable and coolable in order to achieve the desired Allow heat to act directly on the slats to be able to. But it is also possible to use the metal strips of the slats 2 and 4 with the fabric tape 6 first in a bonding press flat tool and then a desired deformation in a molding press or by embossing.
- the Rod-forming, top-side slats 4 compared to the bottom side Slats have two different thicknesses and widths.
