Definitions
- the invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock or the like. With the features the preamble of claim 1.
- motor vehicle door locks in correspondingly but also motor vehicle hood locks, flap locks etc., so that the term motor vehicle door lock in the following is always to be understood in this comprehensive sense.
- the well-known motor vehicle door lock from which the invention is based is an electromechanical motor vehicle door lock, at which the actuation of the pawl in particular from the outside door handle or from the inside door handle through a mechanical power chain and the Lock mechanics is realized while unlocking and locking usually by means of remote controllable control electronics and an electrical one Central locking drive takes place. If necessary, this function can also be used mechanically from a lock cylinder on the door, at least on the driver's door will be realized.
- the invention is based on the problem of a motor vehicle door lock specify that can work as a pure electric lock and also for one "passive entry" function is suitable, but the function also then is secured when the electrical power supply for what reason always fails or an accident creates a special situation, and at which is also used as a replacement for conventional motor vehicle door locks is possible.
- the motor vehicle door lock according to the invention solves the previously mentioned Problem with the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.
- the motor vehicle door lock is an electric lock, but is actuated by sensors in the lock mechanism. So normally serve the power chains of the outside door handle, the inside door handle and possibly the lock cylinder in the lock mechanism only corresponding to the actuation Switches or influencing corresponding sensors. Due to the Existence of the mechanical force chain or the mechanical Power lock chains, however, can be locked at lightning speed if necessary be used for the purpose of actuating the pawl etc.
- the power chain in the lock mechanics Be assigned idle, so that the actuation of the outside door handle in the normal state done without applying force to the pawl. Only in special condition if the outer door handle is pulled further over the Pressure point beyond the mechanical actuation of the pawl.
- a tie switch is provided, the one in the special state is the power chain, the one in the normal state is uncoupled from the lock mechanism, coupled to the lock mechanism, so that then the mechanical actuation by moving the lock mechanism the pawl can be done.
- the motor vehicle door lock according to the invention has the significant advantage that it is a replacement for conventional Motor vehicle door locks can be used easily.
- the outer door handles and inner door handles of classic motor vehicle door locks only continue to be used with central locking and can continue to function in the same way as before.
- the motor vehicle door lock according to the invention has the outside and Door handles in the normal state, mechanical dummy functions, actually only the electrical sensors in the lock mechanism are affected.
- the outside and inside handles only work in a special condition and possibly a locking cylinder purely mechanically in a classic manner.
- reaction times Due to the state changes in the motor vehicle door lock according to the invention The reaction times are due to purely electrical processes in the normal state shortened so much that extremely low response times to below 100 ms reached.
- the motor vehicle door lock is by omitting individual Components have been shown so simplified that the principle of Teaching of the invention is clearly recognizable. Parts of the motor vehicle door lock, which are not important for the invention are either not shown at all or at least not been provided with reference numerals.
- the invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock with a housing 1 with lock latch 2 and pawl 3 arranged therein, with a Lock mechanism 4 for mechanical actuation of the pawl 3, with a remotely controllable control electronics 5, operated by a remote control module an operator, with one of an outside door handle and possibly also of other actuators in the lock mechanism 4 extending Power chain 6 or several corresponding power chains 6.
- An electrical opening aid 7 for electrical actuation can also be seen the pawl 3.
- the electrical opening aid 7 is here in itself known manner as a worm gear drive, which is probably what it is given of the state of the art, which is well known in this respect, none of them further explanation is required.
- the motor vehicle door lock according to the invention is characterized in that that the force chain 6 in the lock mechanism 4 electrical sensors are assigned by which the switching functions of the control electronics 5 and the opening aid 7 can be triggered that only one electrical in the normal state Triggering of the switching functions and no mechanical actuation.
- an "activation function” intended.
- a tie switch 8 is provided is a mechanical coupling in a special condition the power chain 6 to the lock mechanism 4, so that then mechanical actuation of the pawl 3 can take place in any case.
- an "overhaul function” in which the electrical Triggering of the switching functions is done so quickly that in practice it does not trigger the switching functions mechanically is coming. This is due to appropriate pressure points, for example on the outside door handle to support. With such a “overhaul function” is essential just the fact that the actuators first nothing has to change.
- the special condition is caused by falling below a certain voltage of the power supply and / or is defined by a crash.
- the motor vehicle door lock according to the invention is designed as an electric lock and suitable for the "passive entry” function because the state changes including the opening function "open by wire” at a time under Run for 100 ms.
- the motor vehicle door lock has this in the normal state the behavior of a normal electric lock, i.e. a purely electric one operated motor vehicle door lock.
- the lock mechanism 4 switches in illustrated embodiment by means of the dome switch 8 automatically to mechanical actuation.
- the coupling switch 8 couples the Power chain 6 to the lock mechanism 4, the sensors are then superfluous, the respective function is triggered mechanically. That can be for all functions or only for some functions, especially the The "door opening" function applies.
- a corresponding measure can be taken as soon as the special condition in the form of a crash, that is, an impact of the motor vehicle becomes. While in special condition when falling below a certain Voltage of the power supply a mechanical coupling of the Power chain 6 to the lock mechanism 4 no switching Functional position "locked” in “unlocked” requires, yes not such once appears desirable to the protection of the motor vehicle not to deteriorate, it can happen when the special condition is reached recommended by a crash, automatically first of all from the functional position "locked” to switch to the "unlocked” position.
- the latter has the advantage that helpers can easily open the door from the outside or an occupant can open the door immediately.
- the illustrated embodiment shows that the lock mechanism 4th here is in the normal state in a functional position "locked" that is the functional position shown in Figs. 1 and 2 of the drawing.
- a functional position "locked” that is the functional position shown in Figs. 1 and 2 of the drawing.
- this Functional position is from the actuators, at least from Outside door handle, mechanically an idle stroke anyway, only the sensors are operated.
- the illustrated embodiment of a motor vehicle door lock shows otherwise, as already mentioned, also an electric central locking drive.
- the illustrated embodiment is characterized by this that the central locking drive with the electrical opening aid 7 is integrated.
- the electrical Opening aid 7 in the example in the example shown in a direction of rotation of the worm wheel 7a works as an opening aid 7 and in the return, namely in the opposite direction of rotation of the worm wheel 7a works as a central locking drive.
- Fig. 1 you can see one of the pawl 3 associated trigger lever 15, which is mounted on a pivot axis is that when the end lying on the right in FIG. 1 is lifted, the end in FIG. 1 indicated on the left pawl 3 at the far end of the lock latch 2 down presses (in Fig. 2 this is the right end) and pawl 3 lifts.
- the pawl pin 16 is turned in the "open by wire” function the worm wheel 7a counterclockwise to the release lever 15 approached, this is pivoted to open the pawl 3 until Attack. Then the pawl pin 16 by turning the The worm wheel 7a is returned to the starting position.
- the electric opening aid has the function of the central locking drive 7 in the present embodiment when the Worm wheel 7a clockwise. Then that runs in solid Lines shown central locking pin 17 clockwise the downward arm of a release lever 18 through which the Lock mechanism 4 is shifted to the "unlocked" position.
- This Function shown here of the preferred embodiment of a motor vehicle door lock is particularly significant in the event of a crash that has been already explained above.
- the illustrated embodiment shows the realization of the tie switch 8 as a solenoid with two positions (double stroke solenoid).
- the Special condition due to energization of the lifting magnet of the tie switch 8 is realized.
- This requires an emergency power source, especially in Form of a storage capacitor that is activated in a special state.
- the second state i.e. the normal state, can also pass through energizing the solenoid for the purpose of moving in opposite directions Direction can be realized.
- the tie switch 8 forming solenoid in the illustrated embodiment none Quiescent current draws.
- the illustrated embodiment shows the coupling switch 8 with a power transmission mechanism 11, which in a special state releases a spring-loaded lever 9, through which the mechanical coupling takes place.
- This mechanical coupling takes place in that the plunger of the lifting magnet of the coupling switch 8 is drawn in and releases the lever 9.
- the mechanical coupling takes place on the one hand for the actuation of the pawl 3, on the other hand for the coupling of a lock nut 12, which can be actuated starting from a locking cylinder, which is not shown here, and ensures “unlocking” and “locking " of the motor vehicle door lock.
- auxiliary lever 9a which is also an integral part of the spring-loaded lever 9 can be.
- this auxiliary lever 9a prevents further movement. This is shown in Embodiment the entire power transmission mechanism 11, the Functional position "locked", blocked to a certain extent, it can do not leave this state. Only the electrical function is active. First the occurrence of a special condition changes that.
- the illustrated embodiment shows that the spring-loaded lever 9 with the pawl 3 cooperates and in the illustrated embodiment is even mounted on the same axis as the pawl 3.
- the spring-loaded Lever 9 is a spring-loaded in the illustrated embodiment Clutch lever 14 assigned, which may be a force-transmitting connection of the lever 9 with the pawl 3.
- the illustrated embodiment shows this at the lower end of the clutch lever 14.
- the recognizable there Recesses on the one hand the pawl 3, on the other hand the spring-loaded Lever 9 are not in overlap in Fig. 2. Consequently, that too Force-transmitting connection of the lever 9 with the pawl 3 is not established.
- the clutch lever 14 with overlapping recesses pivoted downward from the position of Fig. 2, so it establishes the force-transmitting connection.
- the functional position "unlocked" of a rocker arm 19 is shown in dashed lines the power transmission mechanism 11, in which the previously explained power transmission Connection is then established.
- the clutch lever 14 is motorized by the opening aid 7 in Open position pivoted pawl 3 pivoted, without shifting in height in FIG. 2. So it remains with the electrical Actuation that the lock mechanism 4 in the functional position "locked" persists.
- the functional position "unlocked” be prepared in that the power transmission mechanism 11 by moving the rocker arm 19 clockwise into the dash-dotted line position shown brought into the functional position "unlocked” becomes. If the pawl 3 is still in the position shown in FIG. 2, so the clutch lever 14 is only spring biased down. A pivoting of the spring-loaded lever 9 counterclockwise aligns the recesses, the clutch lever 14 can engage, the power transmission connection explained above is established. The then corresponds to the special condition with mechanical actuation of Pawl 3.
- the rocker arm 19 can also be seen on the left in FIG. 1, now in connection again with the release lever 18 and the lock nut 12.
- the function the lock nut 12 has already been explained above.
- Fig. 1 leaves a safety lever that can only be reached when the motor vehicle door is open 13 recognize. With this takes place in the special state shown Embodiment switching the lock mechanism 4 from the Functional position "locked” into the functional position "unlocked”, if this does not take place via the lock nut 12 from a lock cylinder can. With the safety lever 13 there is also a mechanical reset the motor vehicle door lock in the normal state if the conditions of the special condition no longer exist.
- the motor vehicle door then closed again, so prevents a plunger of the lifting magnet realized here as a tie switch 8 the spring-loaded Lever 9 to spring back into its basic position. On the system is then reset. From then on it works the motor vehicle door lock according to the invention again as an electric lock.
- the lock nut 12 can also be used for another form of emergency operation used outside. Is the power supply interrupted and can accordingly the access authorization is not granted electronically, so you have to use a mechanical key to lock the cylinder and thus turn part of the two-part lock nut 12. This then becomes a Pressed switch that the emergency power supply from the storage capacitor o. Like. ago activated, so that then the coupling switch 8 forming solenoid is energized and retracts the plunger. This will make the spring loaded Lever 9 released in the manner explained above and the lock mechanism 4 is activated.
- the motor vehicle door lock according to the invention can be used in particular there, where there is already a construction with external specifications.
- the invention Motor vehicle door lock replaced without the need the change of the door handles existing mechanical motor vehicle door locks thanks to modern electrical lock designs. Sensors / microswitches on the door handles and their costly cabling for Lock mechanics can be omitted, a perfect mechanical redundancy for there is an emergency.
- the motor vehicle door lock according to the invention extremely fast and achieves the requirements for "passive entry" Time constraints.
