Definitions

  • the invention relates to the filling station for an aseptic FFS packaging machine according to the preamble of the two independent claims.
  • Aseptic FFS packaging machines for forming (by deep drawing), filling, closing a continuous packaging material web are well known and in use. Depending on the product and its offer in the respective store (in the refrigerator compartment or in non-refrigerated shelves) must be taken to ensure that the packaging material web and the cover are germ-free and on the other hand remain germ-free even during passage through the machine, ie, for For aseptic operation, such machines are equipped with an aseptic tunnel under slight overpressure. All these requirements are met by the currently available packaging machines of this type, which also run in accordance with the requirements of operators of such machines with the highest possible number of cycles and minimize downtime in the inevitable cleaning especially the filling station (daily basic cleaning and intermediate flushing with product change) should need.
  • An obstacle in this regard is the Aseptiktunnel, in which the filling station must be integrated with its at least one filling tube in a suitable manner while maintaining the aseptic conditions and the necessary cleaning and purging.
  • the invention has for its object to improve the filling of such a packaging machine to the effect that they can continue to run normally during a short break even during cleaning.
  • the tub and pass-through part is arranged to be adjustable relative to the filling tube to the conveying path, wherein the filling tube with a suitable for both the tub and the penetration portion cap closure and the filling tube passage member in position of the tub part under the filling tube with a aufleg- or removable Cap are provided.
  • the second solution is also based on two correspondingly successively arranged filling stations, which are each formed of a filling tube penetration part and a separate, dewaterable trough part, but here over, ie, arranged outside the tunnel and relative to the stuffing tube-Durchgriffsteil in superscript Filling pipe to the conveyor line is adjustable, again according to the first solution, the filling tube is provided with a suitable both for the trough part and the filling tube penetration part cap closure and the filling tube passage member in position of the trough part under the filling tube with a aufleg- or removable cap ,
  • cap closure is to be noted that this is also to be understood as a so-called nozzle plate, which is usually used when a Doseur comprises several filling tubes.
  • nozzle plate which is usually used when a Doseur comprises several filling tubes.
  • Such a cap closure, which belongs to the filling tube, is necessary, on the one hand in the filling position, to at least largely complete the passage opening and, on the other hand, to close the trough in the cleaning or rinsing position, since as a rule the cleaning agent is supplied under pressure.
  • the two solutions according to the invention are associated with the decisive advantage that, apart from a relatively short interruption for the machine changeover, during the flushing of one filling station, the machine can continue to run with the other filling station, which however requires not only the arrangement of a second filling station. but also their special inventive design according to the other features.
  • this effort is made up for by the substantially reduced downtime again absolutely, taking into account that hitherto thorough cleaning rinse times of two to three hours to complete, during which interrupted the entire operation of such machines is.
  • This is in the solutions according to the invention a time required in the order of only max. 20 min opposite, for the change of filling stations or machine conversion and the required sterile flushing of the temporarily openable for the change and then closed again sterile tunnel.
  • the filling station for an FFS machine shown only schematically in FIG. 1 still consists of at least one filling tube 3 which is stationary in relation to the conveying path PFS but perpendicular to the conveying path (so-called doser), which has a trough 4 only indicated here in principle assigned to receive cleaning liquid arising during the cleaning rinse of the filling tube 3.
  • the entire conveyor line PFS of the packaging material web PB is in this case in a sterile air supplied with sterile air, under slight overpressure sterile tunnel 2, which is shown in the embodiment of Figure 1 as a so-called half-tunnel.
  • a forming station FS In front of the filling station or filling device 1 of interest here, there is a forming station FS, in front of which a pretreatment area VB for the packaging material web PB conveyed by a supply roll VR, in which the packaging material web sterilization and preheating take place, and behind the filling device 1 a closing station SS is arranged. All of these attached to a frame, not shown machine components require except for the interest here alone filling device 1 no further explanation, since these are known for a long enough and on the other hand require no changes for the present invention.
  • the filling device is essential that the aseptic tunnel 2 above the conveyor line PFS in adjustable openings 2 "sealable to the tunnel 2 in a row two (see Figure 3) filling stations 1,1 'are arranged, each consisting of a pan part 5 and a downstream Greitz-Durchgriffsteil 6 formed and tub and filling tube-Durchgriffsteil 5,6 are arranged on the filling tube 3 parallel to the conveyor line PFS adjustable, wherein the filling tube 3 with a suitable both for the pan part 5 and the filler tube-Durchgriffsteil 6 cap closure 7 and 2) with a removable closure cap 8, which therefore closes the access opening 6 'in the cleaning position according to FIG Operating position (1 'right in Figure 3) and the other in cleaning position (1 left in Fi Because of the adjustable or convertible openings 2 ", the filling stations 1, 1 'are arranged to be moved back and forth.
  • FIGS.2A, B illustrate the necessary offset V of the unit-forming trough and pass-through part 5, 6 to the filling tube 3.
  • This offset V is effected thereby in that the upper boundary 2 'of the aseptic tunnel 2 is formed, at least in the arrangement region of the two filling stations 1, 1', for example, from cover layers 9, 9 'which can be applied in a sealed manner, as shown, for the sealed support of the elements 9, 9' at the tunnel 2 provided with grooves 21 trusses 20 are provided, and with such grooves 21 and the trough and fürgriffsmaschine 5,6 are provided, which further comprise on its underside longitudinal grooves 22 with which they sit displaceably on guides 23. See also Fig.6 , which shows one of the filling devices according to Figure 3 in plan view.
  • the adjusting mechanism for the filling pipe 3, which is stationary with respect to the conveying path PFS but perpendicularly adjustable with respect to the conveying pipe 3, is shown in a very schematic manner only in FIG. 2B and designated 30.
  • this is provided with Spülstoffabflußkanälen 13 (see Figure 4,5), which are, for example, connected to an elastic Spülstoffabfluß effet 14 ( Figure 5).
  • Fig. 2A shows the filling device in dosing or operating position
  • Fig.2B in changing position
  • Fig.2C in rinsing or cleaning position.
  • the filling tube 3 located in the filling position in FIG. 2A is raised, and the two adjacent cover elements 9, 9 'are exchanged to the right while the tub and pass-through part 5, 6 are offset. Since, by pulling out the filling tube 3, the aseptic tunnel 2 per se communicates with the ambient air per penetration part 6, a per se possible variable-length design of the upper tunnel cover 9 would be to offset the arrangement opening 2 "by the dimension V (Fig.2B) , associated with a much too great effort, which is why the illustrated embodiment with displaceable cover elements 9,9 'is preferred.
  • the filling tube 3 is lowered with its cap closure 7 in the cleaning position according to Fig.2C, wherein the lower edge of the cap closure 7 rests on the upper edge of the Wannemaschines 5, which is provided with a circumferential seal 11 is.
  • the second alternative according to the invention differs from that described above in that in this case the two filling devices 1, 1 'are formed in each case from a separate trough part 5 and a filling tube penetrating part 6 that is stationary for the conveying path , wherein the trough part 5 is arranged above the tunnel 2, that is, outside the tunnel 2 and is adjustable parallel to the conveying path PFS via the stationary filling tube penetration part 6 when the filling tube 3 is raised.
  • a conversion of the two filling tube-Durchgriffsmaschine 6 is not required in this case.
  • FIGS. 6 to 8 are plan views of the unit-forming trough and Medrohr thoroughlygriffsteil 5,6 according to Figure 3 and on the separate tub-5 and filling tube-Durchgriffsmaschine 6 shown in FIG.
  • the apparent from FIGS. 4 and 7.8 paired arrangement of filling tubes 3 and corresponding paired design of the trough and naturalgriffsmaschine 5.6 can of course also be provided in the embodiment of the filling apparatus according to Figure 3.
