Definitions
- the invention relates to a handgun, preferably a Self loading rifle, with a maneuver cartridge device, like this in the The preamble of claim 1 is described.
- the handgun is at the muzzle with an external thread provided on an internal thread screwed from the front is that in the female thread section of a backward open Blind hole is formed in an elongated, cylindrical Body is formed, which is thus concentric to the barrel can be screwed on this.
- the security maneuver cartridge device carries a Fastening device with which it has a recess Can be locked in the barrel when it is screwed on this becomes.
- This known safety maneuver cartridge device brakes due his spiral channel all about a maneuver cartridge ejected about Particles off so completely that the stay even right in front of the safety maneuver cartridge unit when shot is completely safe.
- it is capable an accidentally delivered sharp shot completely ineffective without the rifle, at the mouth of which it is appropriate is to damage: the bullet of a sharp shot penetrates into the strongly sub-caliber center bore of the inner liner as it widens, tears it off the end peripheral flange and press them forward so that the safety cross holes be released and the incoming powder gases to the outside can escape.
- the circumferential inner sleeve bounces on the ground the blind hole on and pushes the front part of the cylindrical Body forward so that this in the area of the outlet cross bores interrupted. Now slip this front part of the cylindrical Body in the outer sleeve rubbing forward and is in the conically narrowed end of the outer sleeve under simultaneous Expansion of this stalled.
- EP-A-890 815 which is associated with the The preamble of claim 1 matches, but with the Problem involves mounting a maneuver cartridge device on a rifle without removing its muzzle fire damper, and on DE-A-130624, which is concerned with a recoil amplifier, mounted on a relatively movable to the running component can be converted into a maneuver cartridge device can.
- the invention is the task underlying, while maintaining the proven construction of known, initially mentioned safety maneuver cartridge device to develop this to the effect that it is reliable a second sharp shot, possibly also a third withstand.
- the safety maneuver cartridge device occurs when firing a sharp cartridge also, as in the known Safety maneuver cartridge device, the break at both break points on, however, when tearing off the cylindrical Body (second predetermined breaking point) consume considerably more work, as was the case so far, so that the torn off front part of the cylindrical body only a small
- the track in the outer sleeve slips forward.
- the conical constriction remains untouched after the first shot.
- a second Shot can thus still reliably collected under their participation usually a third as well.
- the fastening device is in its own Retaining ring arranged at the rear end of the cylindrical Body is welded. This allows for optimization of the material of the cylindrical body that defined the Predetermined breaking point, and on the other hand the Selection of a high-strength material for the construction of the fastening device.
- the front end face of the cylindrical body has in the known safety maneuver cartridge device a center hole on, which allows a comfortable production of the cylindrical body.
- a center hole on which allows a comfortable production of the cylindrical body.
- the invention (claim 4) is convenient to this Production method is omitted, and instead is the named front face smooth through, so without center hole. The radial compression of the cylindrical body at its front end is thus prevented, so that its Deceleration in the conical constriction of the outer sleeve even further is improved.
- This annular groove is preferred (claim 6) in the axial direction significantly wider than the diameter of the outlet hole, and the outlet hole opens approximately centrally into the annular groove one, so not on the edge. This will further ensure that the actual breaking point is reliable on the determined by the width of the annular groove, axial Area remains limited.
- the outer sleeve is pushed onto the cylindrical body and along its rear peripheral edge welded to this. there she must sit so tightly on the cylindrical body, that the Powder gases from maneuver cartridges flow along the spiral channel and can not handle this. When firing a sharp cartridge becomes the front part of the cylindrical body expanded, so that he with strong clamping seat in the outer sleeve sitting.
- (claim 11) is the outer sleeve from the outset pressed in a strong press fit on the cylindrical body and preferably even shrunk; while firing a sharp cartridge, the bias of the outer sleeve acts Widening of the cylindrical body and ensures that this widens, but not due to excessive deformation tears.
- the blind hole is preferably at its transition into the paragraph slightly countersunk, and / or the transition of the cylindrical outer surface the inner sleeve in its end peripheral flange is light pricked (claim 12); This ensures that the material the inner liner caused by the impact of a projectile is deformed, dodge at these points and thus the tearing off the inner sleeve can initiate at its end peripheral flange. This avoids that about the end peripheral flange tears and the center hole is blocked.
- the projectile of a second shot could then be in the area of paragraph its entire kinetic Energy unrestrained to the cylindrical body and thus to the Muzzle thread and and the fastening device release or cause tearing in the area of the relief cross bores.
- Only a single one is preferred Relief transverse bore provided to the cross section of the cylindrical Body does not unduly weaken if it yet after the first floor to block the center hole the inner liner should come at the point of the paragraph.
- the inner liner is preferably in the receiving section the blind bore pressed (claim 13), in particular, to increase the resistance they are shifting in the Blind hole opposes as a result of the impact of a projectile.
- the fastening device consists of only one Wire spring in the transverse recess of the barrel comes to an accidental unscrewing the maneuver cartridge device to avoid.
- the predetermined breaking point is essential made more stable, so that axial forces can occur, the are suitable to damage the muzzle thread, and these Damage is avoided by absorbing an axial force Fastening device provided, which is adapted to to absorb those axial forces that the mouth thread no longer is able to absorb damage without damage.
- the fastening means has a strong cross bolt, which is complementary in the trained, transverse recess engages.
- Fig. 1 is the closest prior art, a maneuver cartridge device shown, made by the applicant itself and that was in use especially because of the high Proven level of safety, because possible particles of maneuver cartridges, which are ejected from the device at the shot, are slowed down to a harmless speed, and one accidentally fired, sharp cartridge damaged with her Bullet though the maneuver cartridge device, but not the weapon on which it is appropriate, and the projectile is reliably captured.
- the known maneuver cartridge device has a cylindrical body 7, which from its rear face with a concentric blind bore 9 is drilled.
- This blind hole points, seen from the back to the front, consecutively one Beginning section 11 with a large diameter, an internally threaded portion 13 with a smaller diameter, an intermediate section 15 with a the outer diameter of the female thread accordingly Diameter, and an end portion 17 with a much smaller Diameter up.
- the end portion has a front, on the bottom of the blind bore 9 adjacent part 17a and a rear Part 17b, which opens into the intermediate section 15. There at the junction is the intermediate section 15 forward limited by a paragraph 19.
- the initial section 11 is for mating sliding on the Mouth area of a barrel 1 (Fig. 3) is set, the on its foremost end has an external thread 3, which in the Internal thread of the female threaded portion 13 is screwed.
- An inner sleeve 27 with a central through hole 31 and an end peripheral flange 29 at the rear end is in the rear Part 17b of the end portion 17 of the blind bore 9 is inserted, hides the safety holes opening into this rear part 17b 23 and rests with the front ring surface of the end peripheral flange 29 on the shoulder 19 from.
- the back End of the central bore 31 is heavily lowered.
- the outlet holes 25, which are the front part 17a of the end portion 17 of the blind bore 9 with the circumference of the cylindrical Connect body 7, open into a circumferential annular groove 43 and each have a diameter about that of the center hole 31 corresponds.
- a detent spring 49 mounted in a recess of the barrel 1 of Geweh-res engages on which the maneuver cartridge device is mounted.
- the maneuver cartridge device is screwed onto the barrel, wherein the mouth thread of the barrel in the female threaded portion 13 engages until the detent spring 49 in the associated Recess on the barrel 1 is incident and thus the unwanted Unscrewing prevented.
- the mouth of the barrel 1 sits on it the rear end face of the end peripheral flange 29 of the inner sleeve 27 on.
- the powder gases are so extensive backlogged that the reload mechanism of the handgun can be operated smoothly by these gases.
- FIG. 2 shows the maneuver cartridge device in one embodiment for the cartridge 7.62 mm Nato (.308 Winchester) in longitudinal section, 3 the mouth area of the barrel of the associated rifle, and FIG. 4 the maneuver cartridge device after firing a first, sharp cartridge.
- the first and main difference is that when Device according to the invention only a single outlet transverse bore 25th is provided, whose cross section is smaller than the cross section of the spiral channel and significantly smaller than the cross section the center hole.
- the predetermined breaking point decisively strengthened; the break is no longer just due the tensile load takes place which the projectile to the bottom of the blind hole 9 but due to the multi-dimensional load, which occurs as a result of the fact that the extruded bullet edges or parts of the inner sleeve 27, the region of the annular groove 43 of the cylindrical body 7 deform radially outward.
- the aforementioned high axial forces are in fact suitable to damage the muzzle thread 3 when passing over the internal thread the internal thread portion 13 of the blind bore 9 loaded becomes.
- the strong cross pin 37 transmits against it Forces over the recess on the barrel, so that external thread. 3 and recess 5 together and only cooperatively capable of acting together These forces are undamaged on run 1 and thus to transfer the associated rifle.
- the second and third sharp shot is the axial load of the external thread 3 of the barrel 1 even higher than the first Shot, so that the cross pin 37 and the transverse Recess 5 of the barrel 1 must be designed so that they still in cooperation with the threaded connection the axial Introduce forces into barrel 1 without damage.
- the cylindrical body 7 is an embodiment shown, which is designed for the cartridge .223 Winchester, whose Muzzle energy, however, only about 30% of the muzzle energy of those cartridges for which the cartridge cartridges of the Fig. 1 (prior art) and Fig. 2 are arranged.
- the fastening device is a detent spring 49 formed and is attached to the cylindrical body 7, as in the device of the prior art. But while the receptiveness such a detent spring 49 in conjunction with the external thread 3 for the maneuver cartridge device of FIG. 2 inadequate if it were still sufficient for the second embodiment, because the axial forces affecting the capacity of the External thread 3 exceed, with the weak cartridge .223 though present, but still be absorbed by the detent spring 49 can.
- spiral groove 21 is shorter than in the device of Fig. 2, because the amount of gas produced in the weak cartridge is lower than the cartridge for which the device is the Fig. 2 or the known device is designed.
