Abstract

Für eine Brennkraftmaschine in V-Anordnung wird ein Kurbelgehäuse (1) vorgeschlagen, welches quaderförmig mit rechteckigen Querschnitt ausgeführt ist. Die Grundseite (15) des Kurbelgehäuses (1) entspricht näherungsweise der seitlichen Ausladung im Bereich der Zylinderköpfe. Zusätzlich weist das Kurbelgehäuse (1) wenigstens eine Kammer (2) auf. Vorzugsweise sind mehrere Kammern (2), entsprechend der Zylinderzahl der Brennkraftmaschine, vorgesehen. Diese weisen von der Längsseite des Kurbelgehäuses (1) in das Innere. In diesen Kammern (2) sind die Hilfsaggregate, Wärmetauscher, Filter und Ölvorratsräume angeordnet.
