Claims (20)
- Verfahren zum Schneiden von Tabak, bei dem ein Tabakkuchen (1) kontinuierlich einem Mundstück (5) zugeführt wird, aus dem er austritt, wonach er mittels einer Messer-Schneideinrichtung (6, 7), insbesondere einer rotierenden Messertrommel (6), geschnitten wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß von dem Tabakkuchen (1) bei mindestens einem Schneidvorgang ein wesentlich breiterer Abschnitt abgeschnitten wird als bei anderen Schneidvorgängen, wobei die Schneidvorgänge so aufeinanderfolgen, daß der Breitenunterschied mindestens 20 % beträgt.
- Verfahren nach Ansprüch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine größere Schnittbreite im wesentlichen ein ganzzahliges Vielfaches einer kleineren Schnittbreite ist, insbesondere im wesentlichen die doppelte Schnittbreite.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwei unterschiedliche Schnittbreiten erzeugt werden, insbesondere in etwa 0,85 mm und 1,7 mm.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Tabakkuchen (1) mit einer rotierenden Messertrommel (6) geschnitten wird, auf welcher ein Umfangsabstand zwischen mindestens zwei Messern (7) größer ist als mindestens ein anderer Umfangsabstand.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine übliche Messertrommel (6) mit am Umfang gleichmäßiger Messeranordnung verwendet wird, bei der mindestens ein Messer (7) von seiner Befestigung (12) entfernt und vorzugsweise durch ein Ausgleichsgewicht ersetzt wurde.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Tabakkuchen (1) zwischen mindestens zwei Schneidvorgängen mit einer wesentlich grösseren Geschwindigkeit aus dem Mundstück (5) ausgeschoben wird als zwischen anderen Schneidvorgängen.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Messertrommel (6) zwischen mindestens zwei Schneidvorgängen mit einer wesentlich kleineren Geschwindigkeit rotiert als zwischen anderen Schneidvorgängen.
- Verfahrem nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der breitere Schnitt mit profilierten Schneidkanten (CSL-Messer) geschnitten wird.
- Vorrichtung zum Schneiden von Tabak mit einer kontinuierlichen Zuführung für einen Tabakkuchen (1), einem Mundstück (5) an der Zuführung, durch welches der Tabakkuchen (1) austritt, und einer Messer-Schneideinrichtung, insbesondere einer rotierenden Messertrommel (6), an dem Mundstück (5), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorrichtung so ausgestaltet ist, daß von dem Tabakkuchen (1) bei mindestens einem Schneidvorgang ein wesentlich breiterer Abschnit abgeschnitten wird als bei anderen Schneidvorgängen, wobei die Schneidvorgänge so aufeinanderfolgen, daß der Breitenunterschied mindestens 20 % beträgt.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Umfangsabstand zwischen mindestens zwei Messern (7a, 7b) auf der rotierenden Messertrommel (6) größer ist als ein anderer Umfangsabstand.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der grössere Umfangsabstand mindestens 20% größer ist als andere Umfangsabstände.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 10 oder 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der grössere Umfangsabstand im wesentlichen ein ganzzahliges Vielfaches eines kleineren Umfangsabstandes beträgt, insbesondere das Doppelte.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 10 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie eine übliche Messertrommel (6) mit am Umfang gleichmäßig verteilten Messerbefestigungen (12) aufweist, bei der mindestens ein Messer von seiner Befestigung (12) entfernt und vorzugsweise durch ein Ausgleichsgewicht ersetzt wurde.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie eine Ausschubvorrichtung (2, 3, 4) aufweist, die mittels einer Antriebssteuerung den Tabakkuchen (1) zwischen mindestens zwei Schneidvorgängen mit einer wesentlich größeren Geschwindigkeit aus dem Mundstück (5) ausschiebt als zwischen anderen Schneidvorgängen.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die größere Geschwindigkeit mindestens um 20% höher liegt als die kleinere Geschwindigkeit und insbesondere um ein ganzzahliges Vielfaches größer ist, bevorzugt doppelt so groß ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Messertrommel (6) einen dynamischen Antrieb aufweist, mittels dem sie zwischen mindestens zwei Schneidvorgängen mit einer wesentlich kleineren Geschwindigkeit rotiert als zwischen anderen Schneidvorgängen.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die kleinere Geschwindigkeit mindestens um 20% niedriger ist als die größere Geschwindigkeit und insbesondere ein ganzzahliger Bruchteil ist, bevorzugt halb so groß ist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Messer (7) der Schneideinrichtung durchgehende glatte Schnittkanten haben oder bei aufeinanderfolgenden Messern versetzt profilierte Schnittkanten vorhanden sind.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Messer (7) der Schneidkanten mit Hohlkehlen mit profilierten Flächen zusammenwirken.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der wesentlich breitere Abschnitt mit Messern (7) mit profilierter Schnittkante abgeschnitten und der kleinere Abschnitt mit Messern (7) mit durchgehend glatter Schnittkante geschnitten wird.
