Description
The invention relates to a method for the production of printed products, such as magazines, brochures or the like., From at least one folded sheet, by partially mutual sticking together on a saddle-shaped conveying or collecting track astride lying moving sheet through a provided in Falzbruch the latter glued perforation a bound back.
There are operations of the type described above are known in which the fold of the sheet is pierced from inside to outside over its length several times, so that the edge portions of the punctures of the individual leaves shift in the next pierced leaves. Subsequently, the sheet with the flat side are gathered together and transferred as loose book blocks in an adhesive binder. Cold glue, which penetrates into the punctures, is rubbed on the book spine protruding from the staples for the time being by a brush-type roller. This is followed by a hot glue application another roller. This process is also referred to in the professional world as burst binding.
In den DE 372 0641 A1 ist ein Verfahren angegeben, bei dem zur Herstellung eines Buchs gedachse Druckbogen längs der Linie der letzten Falsung mit länglichen Einschnitten versehen und nach Bildung eines Blocks daraus bekannt werden.DE 372 0641 A1 discloses a method in which, for the production of a book, printed sheets are provided with elongate incisions along the line of the last fold and become known therefrom after formation of a block.
In another, referred to as notch binding method, running grooves are milled after milling and / or leveling in perfect binder across the back of a book block, which are then filled with a glue application.
Alternatively, the glue application is also carried out in two steps; For example, a first cold glue application after milling or leveling the book block spine and on the subsequent drying phase transverse grooves are milled in the glued spine, which are filled by a hot glue on the spine.
According to US Pat. No. 4,715,758, a device is known with which, on a saddle-shaped conveying or collecting line, printed sheets resting astride are conveyed and, for the purpose of their joining, perforated by partly mutual sticking together in the fold break and at the same time glued.
In a method and a device according to EP 0 664 226 A1, the printed products stored and transported on a supporting organ are pierced from the inside by a piercing tool in the fold and then glued by the piercing tool coated with adhesive as it retracts through the pre-punched passages.
It is the object of the present invention to provide an equivalent adhesive-bonded printed product which can be produced in an alternative manner to the methods described above.
According to the invention this object is achieved by the specified in claim 1 development of the known method.
The invention leads on a new way directly to the destination and it can be processed in this way on the conveying or collecting track one or more sheets to a printed product.
Advantageously, the printed sheets are provided on the conveyor or collecting track with a punching or slot perforation penetrating at least approximately through the seam height, which permit a continuous adhesive bond.
It is particularly favorable when the folded edge of the innermost sheet of a printed product is excluded from the perforation or has no perforation, whereby a continuous anchoring of all sheets can be achieved mutually.
That is, whether one or more sheets are placed astride each other on the conveying or collecting line for perforation, the first sheet of a printed product has an innermost sheet whose folded edge is perforation-free.
Preferably, the printed sheets collected for a printed product on the conveying or collecting section are perforated together, whereby a continuous injection channel for the glue is produced in a rational manner.
Alternatively, with the possibility of a perforation-free folded edge of the innermost sheet, this can be fed separately first during the collecting process on the conveying or collecting line.
For attaching an envelope, it is expedient if the glued sheet on the back an envelope is astride fed and pressed.
To optimize the envelope attachment to the back of the bound signature, it is advantageous if the back is glued before attaching the envelope.
The innermost printed sheet of a printed product could also be fed at the end of a collection process for a printed product by the section of a conveying or collecting section, which is fed with this sheet is arranged lower, and the previously collected sheets are pushed over this at the end of the collecting line ,
To carry out the method according to the invention, a device is proposed which consists of at least one printed sheet feeder, which is followed by a perforation and gluing device along a saddle-shaped conveying path having a ram-like movement of the printed sheet carrier, the device being characterized in that the printed sheets are subsequently attached to the saddle-shaped conveying path Attaching an at least approximately the seam height passing perforation on the conveyor line are glued.
The perforation device is expediently arranged above the conveying or collecting section, so that an immediate processing of the folding edges is possible.
The perforation device may be designed to follow in its active region with the conveyed printed sheet.
Preferably, the perforation depth of the perforation device is adjustable by raising and lowering the corresponding perforating tool.
Subsequently, the invention with reference to the drawing, with respect to all in the description is not details mentioned in more detail, explained by way of example.
The single figure shows schematically a collecting process according to the invention for the production of a printed product.
A designated by a) point in the single figure mediates the last collection position on a horizontal, saddle-shaped conveying or collecting section 1
After the collection process, the printed
In the channels of the supplied glue expands laterally and connects the individual sheets at the edges of the grooves passing through the openings.
So that a short glue-curing time or setting time to achieve a rapidly occurring dimensional stability can be achieved at the back of the printed product, the pressure on the folds over a short time, eg during the onward transport, maintained. For this purpose, the Leiminjiziergerät of a compressive compressive clamping device that continues to accompany the printed
Subsequent to the gluing station designated c), after detaching the tensioning device, the point d) follows the conveying or collecting line 1, where an
Subsequently, the
In a similar manner, printed
Particular attention should be paid to the perforation and gluing of the folds, especially as far as the penetration is concerned of the glue and the connection of the sheets among each other.
To avoid contamination of the conveying and collecting track with glue, this is to be protected in the gluing area by a cover; for example, the fact that the innermost arc of the innermost printed sheet of a printed product is spared by a perforation. This
Due to the low arch thickness, the perforation of a printed sheet with the exception of the innermost sheet on the conveying or collecting line 1 does not appear to be reliably feasible without special additional precautions.
When gluing the folds of a consisting of at least one printed
Alternatively, the innermost printed
The attachment of an

A device for carrying out the method according to the invention consists of at least one sheet feeder, which is followed by a Beleimvorrichtung along a conveying or collecting section 1, wherein for locomotion of the conveying and collecting section 1
Both the perforation and gluing is done in compressed folds by a hold-down device.
