Description
The invention relates to a method according to the preamble of the first independent claim, with which method printed products such as magazines or brochures, which print products can be produced consist essentially of a plurality of folded sheets.
Printed products consisting of a plurality of folded sheets (tabloids) consist, are usually from an intermediate or from one Produced a plurality of sub-products, the intermediate or Partial products consist of a plurality of loosely folded sheets. Such partial products (tabloids) are produced, for example, by that a printed paper web is cut lengthwise into a plurality of partial webs that the partial webs are guided one above the other and that the superimposed partial webs cut transversely and essentially folded in the middle between the cutting lines.
- die Teilprodukte werden ineinander eingesteckt (von-aussen-nach-innen-Methode) oder aufeinander gesammelt (von-innen-nach-aussen-Methode) und in der gemeinsamen Falzlinie zusammengeheftet;
- die Teilprodukte werden wie oben eingesteckt oder gesammelt oder werden durch Zusammentragen in gefaltetem Zustand gestapelt, dann wird die Rückenpartie mit den Falzen mindestens teilweise weggefräst und die Bogen werden an den Frässtellen miteinander verleimt;
- the partial products are inserted into each other (from the outside-in method) or collected on top of each other (from the inside-out method) and stapled together in the common fold line;
- the partial products are inserted or collected as above or are stacked by collating in the folded state, then the back part is at least partially milled away with the folds and the sheets are glued together at the milling points;
- the partial products are stapled individually, then they are gathered and glued together in the back area or connected in another way.
In all the known methods, cover sheets can be used in a variety of ways or cover sheets and / or back panels on the combined Part products are attached.
Publications US-2267045, US-2153639, US-2245891 and GB-550501 also disclose proposed to stack folded partial products on top of one another and then along a stitching line to attach parallel to the back and spaced from it. Even the so produced as Intermediate products to be designated as book blocks are known in bookbinding Provide methods with back covers and book covers.
The object of the invention is also a method for the production to show printed products from at least one partial product, wherein the partial product consists of a plurality of loosely folded one inside the other Sheets are made as it is produced, for example, by gravure printing (tabloid). The process should be very easy to carry out and as simple as possible to different people Customizable product thicknesses, product formats and / or paper qualities his. Nevertheless, it should deliver a product that is comparable Quality has like corresponding products manufactured according to known methods, which in particular has similarly good opening properties. Further The method according to the invention is intended to make it easy to add to the product in addition to the sub-products, other printed products, such as single pages or smaller, printed cards or sample bags or similar and the product with cover sheets, cover sheets and / or To provide back paneling.
This problem is solved by the method as it is in the claims is defined.
According to the method according to the invention, they are made up of a plurality from folded sheets of existing partial products to a stack brought together, the folded edges of the sub-products positioned on top of each other become. The stack is then along a stitching line that is parallel runs to the back, stapled through all layers, keeping the distance the stitching line from the outermost fold edge is large enough so that the innermost sheet of each partial product is captured by the stitching. This means in other words, that the sheets of the partial products are folded in theirs State to be stapled and that the folded state of each sheet through the stitch is fixed. The sub-products have to be collected not be opened, that is, they do not need any tools to be equipped, such as a pre-fold a simple Allows opening.
The stitch with which the assembled partial products are summarized is, for example, a multiple, for example a triple Wire stitching or a full length spine Thread stitching.
If only a partial product (intermediate product) is to be processed into a finished product, the step of collating is omitted. A product of the same type as that which is produced from only one intermediate product also arises if instead of collating, a plurality of partial products are inserted into one another or collected on one another and the partial products are then stitched together in the manner described above. Such a method is conceivable, but it has the disadvantage that with an increasing number of sheets folded into one another, the necessary distance of the stitching from the spine increases, and as a result a larger area of the pages cannot be printed on and the opening of the finished product is more and more impaired.
Before stapling, a cover sheet is placed around the stack of partial products or back strips and with the stitch on the product attached.
Compared to known methods, the method according to the invention has the based on the gluing of a milled back, the advantage that it is largely regardless of the paper quality to be processed, it is no drying time or curing time and energy required and that it delivers a non-aging product. Furthermore, the most varied can easily Paper qualities and / or differently coated papers with each other are processed for which different types of glue are used in a gluing process would be necessary. Compared to known stitching methods, in which the folded The sheet according to the invention has to be stapled in the fold Process the advantage that the sheets of different partial products are not opened that the alignment and pressing of the sheets for the Stapling is easier because there is no need to staple in the fold, and that too individual pages can be easily integrated into the product. Opposite the Fold stitching, however, the paper stack to be stapled is twice as thick, but what up to very high thicknesses easily manageable with known staplers is.

- die verschiedenen Teilprodukte verschieden viele Bogen aufweisen und/oder verschiedene Formate haben;
- mindestens ein Teil der Teilprodukte nicht on-line zusammengetragen werden, sondern beispielsweise ab Wickeln in die Zusammentragstrecke zugeführt werden;
- die Teilprodukte mindestens zum Teil nicht aus übereinander positionierten Teilbahnen hergestellt werden, sondern durch Einstecken oder Sammeln von bereits gefalteten Bogen oder durch Zusammentragen von ungefalteten Bogen und nachträgliches Falten;
- zwischen den Teilprodukten noch Zusatzprodukte aus anderen Quellen zusammengetragen werden;
- die Teilprodukte vor dem Zusammentragen einer zusätzlichen Bearbeitung unterzogen werden (z.B. Aufbringen eines Zusatzproduktes wie Karte oder Musterbeutel oder Aufdrucken individueller Information auf einer der äussersten Seiten);
- the different sub-products have different numbers of sheets and / or have different formats;
- at least some of the partial products are not collected online, but instead are fed into the collating section, for example, from winding;
- the partial products are at least partly not produced from partial webs positioned one above the other, but rather by inserting or collecting sheets that have already been folded or by collating unfolded sheets and subsequently folding them;
- additional products from other sources are collected between the sub-products;
- the sub-products are subjected to additional processing before being collated (for example applying an additional product such as a card or sample bag or printing individual information on one of the outermost pages);
- the stapling with staples is replaced by an equivalent method for connecting the partial products (eg thread stitching).
FIG. 2 shows a printed
It can be clearly seen from FIG. 2 that the position of the

FIGS. 3 to 6 also show different variants with which products produced by the process according to the invention can be provided with cover sheets and / or back coverings.
Figure 3 shows a printed
FIG. 4 shows a further, exemplary printed

FIG. 5 shows a further printed
FIG. 6 shows a further printed
