Claims (13)

Screw-guide device designed capable of being inserted, through fastening means (16), against the back of a face-plate (2) of an espagnolette or espagnolette-lock while ensuring a sliding connection of an operating rod (3) to said face-plate (2), this device (1) including, on the one hand, at least one perforated guiding stud (12, 12A) aimed at communicating with an opening (13, 13A) in said face-plate (2) for the passing through of a fastening screw and, on the other hand, coupling means (26) designed capable of co-operating with side walls (7, 8) of an encasing groove (4) provided for in the fillister of a door- or window-frame or also of a sash-frame corresponding to a carpentry (14) such as a door, window or the like with a view to ensuring maintaining the espagnolette or espagnolette-lock in longitudinal and transversal position in said groove, characterised in that said fastening means (16) are defined by at least one riveting stud (17) designed capable of engaging into a bore (18) provided for this purpose in the face-plate (2), said riveting stud (17) being in the form of an expanding mandrel (37) defined by at least two jaws (38, 39) the free end (40) of which is designed capable of being inserted into the bore (18) of the face-plate (2), between these jaws (38, 39) inserting an expansion rod (41) made integral, by means of a shearable connection (46), with either end (44, 44 A) of the expanding mandrel (37) according to an arrangement ready to be inserted between the jaws (38, 39) of the latter.
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that it includes a base plate (22) provided at least with the perforated guiding stud (12, 12A), the coupling means (26) being in the form of coupling tongues (27) extending from the longitudinal edges (28, 29) of this base plate (22) towards the face-plate (2), these coupling tongues (27), between which the operating rod (3) is inscribed, substantiantially separating from each other at their free end (30, 31) so as to maintain between them, at this level, a distance (32) slightly larger than the width (5) of the encasing groove (4).
  3. Device according to claim 2, characterised in that the coupling tongues (27) are defined of an elastic nature.
  4. Device according to any of claims 2 and 3, characterised in that the free ends (30, 31) of the coupling tongues (27) are designed capable, in co-operation with the side walls (7, 8) of the encasing groove (4), of forming a step once said device (1) is inserted in the latter.
  5. Device according to any of claims 2 with 4, characterised in that the coupling tongues (27) are provided with one or more retaining pins (35) designed capable of forming a step in co-operation with the side walls (7, 8) of the encasing groove (4), once
    said device (1) is inserted in the latter.
  6. Device according to any of claims 2 to 5, characterised in that the coupling means (26) are completed with retaining spines (36) protruding at the level of at least one of the longitudinal edges (28, 29) of the base plate (22) so as to be capable of co-operating with the side walls (7, 8) of the encasing groove (4).
  7. Device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that it is made out of moulded synthetic material.
  8. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the riveting stud (17) is defined with a parallellepipedic cross-section, so as to be capable of ensuring the immobilisation in rotation of the device (1) with respect to the face-plate (2).
  9. Device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that it includes at least one positioning stud (20, 20A) located in the alignment of the guiding stud (12, 12A) and of a riveting stud (17), this positioning stud (20, 20A) inserting into a cavity (21, 21A) provided for this purpose in the face-plate (2).
  10. Device according to any of claims 2 to 3, characterised in that it includes a boss (47) under which extends the base plate (22) and the top of which (48) defines a resting plane for the face-plate (2).
  11. Device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that it includes means for temporarily immobilising (45) the operating rod (3) with respect to the face-plate (2).
  12. Device according to claims 2 and 11, characterised in that the immobilisation means (49) are in the form of blocking pistons (50, 50A) capable of being protruding on the side (51) of the base plate (22) in front of the operating rod (3), this or these blocking pistons (50, 50A) being maintained temporarily in a retracted position with respect to said side (51), through a shearable connection (60).
  13. Device according to claims 2 and 11, characterised in that the immobilisation means (49) are in the form of a tongue (53) formed through moulding in a slot (54) of the base plate (22), in particular at the level of a boss (47) crowning the latter, this tongue (53) being designed capable of being elastically pushed back into an active position in which a retaining finger (55) it is provided with is capable of co-operating with the operating rod (3), this tongue (53) being maintained in this active position through a maintaining lug (56).
