Claims (7)

  1. Anti-tampering device for a locking fitting for a sliding leaf (4), of the type including at least one locking organ (2) such as a hook bolt, capable of being protruding with respect to the front edge (3) of said sliding leaf (4) with a view to co-operating with a keeper (5) inserted against the corresponding stile (7) of the sash-frame, characterised in that it includes :
    an anti-tampering box (13) defined by at least one inner wall (14) and one outer wall (14A) extending, from a bottom (16) they are made integral with, parallel to the plane of the sliding leaf (4), at the level of the front edge (3) of the latter, said bottom (16) of the anti-tampering box (13) being designed so as to be capable of being fixed against a face-plate (11) and including an elongated slot (18) through which passes the locking organ (2) and the dimensions of which are adapted to the travel length of the latter;
    and a keeper (5) formed by a cap (19) including, in its front portion, an opening (20) for receiving the locking organ (2), while, in its rear portion (21) this cap (19) is capable of covering supporting means (22) capable of being inserted in the fillister (6) of the sash-frame (8), between its rear portion (21) and its front portion, said cap (19) having a shape with neither undercut nor unevenness nor set-back, impeding the hooking-in of a tool during an attempt of breaking-in.
  2. Anti-tampering device according to claim 1, characterised in that the inner (14) and outer (14A) walls of the anti-tampering box (13) are connected by end walls (15, 15A).
  3. Anti-tampering device according to claim 1, the keeper (5) of which withdraws into a groove provided for in the fillister (6) of the sash-frame (8), characterised in that the inner (14) and outer (14A) walls of the anti-tampering box (13) are located outside said groove, on both sides of the walls delimiting it laterally.
  4. Anti-tampering device according to claim 3, characterised in that the anti-tampering box (13) includes end walls (15, 15A) that inscribe in said groove in which the keeper (5) is withdrawn, by being located above and under the latter.
  5. Anti-tampering device according to claim 1, characterised in that the supporting means (22) include, on the one hand, a shoe (24) aimed at being inserted into a groove (23) present in the fillister (6) of the sash-frame (8) and, on the other hand, a protruding portion (25) on which the cap (19) is positioned, said shoe (24) including retaining means (31) in the form of spines, scores, ribs or the like, capable of insuring the immobility in translation of these supporting means (22) in said groove (23).
  6. Anti-tampering device according to claims 1 and 5, characterised in that the supporting means (22) are comprised of two elemental parts (22A, 22B) each including a shoe (24) and a protruding portion (25), said elemental parts (22A, 22B) being thus spaced apart from each other, so as to leave a passageway for the locking organ (2) aimed at passing through an opening (20) in the front portion of the cap (19).
  7. Anti-tampering device according to claim 6, characterised in that the elemental parts (22A, 22B) forming the supporting means (22) include elongated openings (32) for the passing through of fastening organs (28), such as screws or the like, simultaneously ensuring the connection between the cap (19) and said supporting means (22), on the one hand, and between the latter and the sash-frame (8), on the other hand.
