  • the emulsifying agents which are thus useful in the present invention include Ceteareth-12, Ceteareth-20 or Pemulen TR1 and TR2 which are available from B.F. Goodrich company of the USA.

Suitable methods include spraying, printing, (e.g. flexographic printing), coating (e.g. gravure coating or flood coating) extrusion whereby the composition is forced through tubes in contact with the substrate whilst the substrate passes across the tube or combinations of these application techniques.

  • the composition can be applied either to one surface of the substrate or both surfaces, preferably both surfaces.

  • the composition can also be applied non uniformly to the surfaces of the substrate.
  • non uniform it is meant that for example the amount, pattern of distribution of the composition can vary over the surface of the substrate.
  • some of the surface of the substrate can have greater or lesser amounts of composition, including portions of the surface that do not have any composition on it.
  • the composition is typically applied in an amount of from about 0.5 g to 10 g per gram of substrate, preferably from 1.0 g to 5 g per gram of substrate, most preferably from 2 g to 4 g per gram of dry substrate.
  • the composition can be applied to the substrate at any point after it has been dried.
  • the composition can be applied to the substrate prior to calendering or after calendering and prior to being wound up onto a parent roll.
  • the application will be carried out on a substrate unwound from a roll having a width equal to a substantial number of wipes it is intended to produce. The substrate with the composition applied thereto is then subsequently severed to produce individual wipes.

Abstract

Cette invention concerne des lingettes humides destinées à être utilisées pour essuyer des surfaces dans le cadre domestique et industriel, ainsi que l'utilisation de ces dernières sur le corps humain comme c'est le cas des lingettes pour bébé, des lingettes démaquillantes et des lingettes liées à d'autres applications de soins de la peau. Des lingettes humides (1) sont pliées et intercalées les unes dans les autres pour former une configuration d'empilement améliorée dans laquelle chaque lingette peut être rapidement et individuellement séparée de la pile (23) de lingettes humides par l'utilisateur.

Claims (13)

  1. Configuration d'empilement pour lingettes humides, ladite configuration comprenant un premier ensemble de lingettes et un deuxième ensemble de lingettes,
       chacune desdites lingettes comprenant un substrat et une composition liquide, et chacune desdites lingettes s'étendant dans le sens de la longueur d'un premier bord d'extrémité d'attaque à un deuxième bord d'extrémité de fuite, et chacune desdites lingettes présentant deux plis fournissant, ainsi, un panneau de bord d'attaque, un panneau central et un panneau de bord de fuite, et
       dans laquelle lesdites lingettes dudit premier ensemble sont intercalées avec lesdites lingettes dudit deuxième ensemble de lingettes afin
       qu'au moins une partie dudit panneau de bord d'attaque et qu'au moins une partie dudit panneau central de chacune desdites lingettes dudit deuxième ensemble de lingettes soient intercalées entre au moins une partie dudit panneau de bord de fuite et au moins une partie dudit panneau central d'une lingette dudit premier ensemble de lingettes et
       qu'au moins une partie dudit panneau central et qu'au moins une partie dudit panneau de bord d'attaque de chacune desdites lingettes dudit premier ensemble de lingettes soient intercalées entre au moins une partie dudit panneau de bord de fuite et au moins une partie dudit panneau central d'une lingette dudit deuxième ensemble de lingettes, de sorte que
       la longueur dudit panneau de bord d'attaque ou dudit panneau de bord de fuite de chacune desdites lingettes dudit premier ensemble de lingettes ne dépasse pas 50% de la longueur du panneau central correspondant et que
       la longueur dudit panneau de bord d'attaque ou dudit panneau de bord de fuite de chacune desdites lingettes dudit deuxième ensemble de lingettes ne dépasse pas 50% de la longueur du panneau central correspondant.
  2. Configuration d'empilement pour lingettes humides selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle les longueurs dudit panneau de bord d'attaque et dudit panneau de bord de fuite de chacune desdites lingettes dudit premier ensemble de lingettes ne dépassent pas toutes les deux 50% de la longueur dudit panneau central correspondant, et dans laquelle les longueurs dudit panneau de bord d'attaque et dudit panneau de bord de fuite de chacune desdites lingettes dudit deuxième ensemble de lingettes ne dépassent pas toutes les deux 50% de la longueur dudit panneau central correspondant.
  3. Configuration d'empilement pour lingettes humides selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans laquelle les longueurs dudit panneau de bord d'attaque et dudit panneau de bord de fuite de chacune desdites lingettes dudit premier ensemble de lingettes sont sensiblement égales, et dans laquelle les longueurs dudit panneau de bord d'attaque et dudit panneau de bord de fuite de chacune desdites lingettes dudit deuxième ensemble de lingettes sont sensiblement égales.
  4. Configuration d'empilement pour lingettes humides selon la revendication 3, dans laquelle ledit panneau de bord d'attaque de chacune desdites lingettes dudit premier ensemble de lingettes est sensiblement égal en longueur audit panneau de bord d'attaque de chacune desdites lingettes dudit deuxième ensemble de lingettes.
  5. Configuration d'empilement pour lingettes humides selon la revendication 4, dans laquelle le rapport entre les longueurs dudit panneau de bord d'attaque de chacune desdites lingettes dudit premier ensemble de lingettes et de chacune desdites lingettes dudit deuxième ensemble de lingettes et la longueur dudit bord de fuite de chacune desdites lingettes dudit premier ensemble de lingettes et de chacune desdites lingettes dudit deuxième ensemble de lingettes est compris entre 1:2:1 et 1:5:1.
  6. Configuration d'empilement pour lingettes humides selon la revendication 4, dans laquelle ledit panneau de bord d'attaque de chacune desdites lingettes dudit premier ensemble de lingettes et de chacune desdites lingettes dudit deuxième ensemble de lingettes est approximativement égal à un quart de la longueur totale de chacune desdites lingettes.
  7. Configuration d'empilement pour lingettes humides selon la revendication 6, dans laquelle chacune desdites lingettes dudit premier ensemble de lingettes est pliée dans une configuration de pliage en Z, et chaque lingette dudit deuxième ensemble de lingettes est pliée dans une configuration en Z inversé.
  8. Configuration d'empilement selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle chacune desdites lingettes dudit premier ensemble de lingettes et chaque lingette dudit deuxième ensemble de lingettes présentent un premier pli de panneau et un deuxième pli de panneau, et dans laquelle la distance entre le premier pli de panneau de chaque lingette du premier ensemble et le deuxième pli de panneau d'une lingette du deuxième ensemble de lingettes est comprise entre 1 mm et 5 mm, et
       dans laquelle la distance entre le deuxième pli de panneau de chaque lingette dudit premier ensemble de lingettes et du premier pli de panneau d'une lingette du deuxième ensemble de lingettes est comprise entre 1 mm et 5 mm.
  9. Configuration d'empilement pour lingettes humides selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle lesdites lingettes sont logées dans un récipient, ledit récipient ayant un orifice de distribution.
  10. Configuration d'empilement pour lingettes selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle ledit substrat est un non-tissé.
  11. Configuration d'empilement pour lingettes selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle ledit substrat comprend des fibres hydrophobes choisies parmi le téréphtalate de polyéthylène, le polypropylène ou leurs mélanges.
  12. Configuration d'empilement pour lingettes selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle ledit substrat comprend des fibres hydrophiles choisies parmi le coton, la viscose, le lin ou leurs mélanges.
  13. Configuration d'empilement pour lingettes selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle ladite composition liquide est une émulsion huile dans eau et ladite lingette humide comprend de 0,5 g à 10 g de ladite émulsion par gramme dudit substrat à l'état sec.
